They didn’t process a salary payment for the first three months, and we had to keep pushing and arguing with them before it was finally done. Throughout this, the staff kept insulting me repeatedly. Now I’m trying to terminate the contract with them as soon as possible, but their employees haven’t responded for several business days. I honestly don’t know what to say. **What problems is Lano solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lano is an HR and payment company. They mainly handle sending money to outstaffed and outsourced employees. ### 2. As a B2B Overseas Business Development Manager, I appreciate how it balances Employer of Record services, contractor administration, and global payroll all under one unified system so seamlessly. The integrated contractor management toolkit is a standout feature. It allows me to generate regionally compliant contractor agreements within minutes, aligning with local EU labor regulations, which simplifies compliance and document retrieval. Lano’s versatile global payroll and multi-currency payment functionality is also incredibly valuable. It streamlines the process of batch payment requests and automatically logs payment records, making monthly bookkeeping much easier for our finance team. I also appreciate how Lano facilitates testing new European markets through its EOR solution, providing us agility to explore without high costs. Lano scales perfectly for our setup, reducing my administrative workload and allowing me to focus more on core business priorities. **What do you dislike about Lano?** The cost tracking view does not support multi-layer budget forecasting. We set annual budgets for regional market agents, yet Lano cannot compare accumulated contractor spending against preset budget thresholds. I have to maintain a separate spreadsheet to monitor budget consumption for our European market expansion plans. I would prioritize the addition of customizable tagging and grouping functionality. The platform should support filtering and aggregating all labor costs by these tags in one click. Built-in budget threshold tracking would be extremely valuable to input budget limits and trigger alerts when approaching or exceeding thresholds, which would eliminate the separate budget spreadsheet. There's a lack of comparative visual dashboards for forecasted versus actual contractor spending across territories. Additionally, Lano's integrations are quite scarce. There is no automated sync between Lano and the tools we use like Apollo.io or Xero, leading to duplicate data entry and inconsistency risks. Lastly, during the setup, language limitations were a small obstacle, as all advanced support resources are only in English, requiring me to create simplified notes for my colleagues. **What problems is Lano solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Lano to streamline overseas talent deployment, manage global contractors, and simplify cross-border payroll, saving time on fragmented admin tasks. Easy to go around like interface wise, its straighforward. Filiing of invoices is also very easy **What do you dislike about Lano?** I dont think there aside from when you login to a mobile browser sometimes it gets stuck when you try to login with google. They also use a partner network rather than their own local entities so the time taken to onboard a new employee is ridiculously fast regardless of which country they're based in sicne Lano has that coverage on the ground. They seem to be building soething really unique to help us have better visibility on payroll and employee data related topics across our entire remote team and we're very excited to see those features rolling out quickly. The ability to actually make payments from within lano is also super useful. **What do you dislike about Lano?** So far not much - they do work with several partners to make sure that compliance and expertise is super local, however from time to time there may be a few back and forth messages needed to resolve certain doubts, but the Lano team is incredibly quick and friendly in making sure those doubts don't turn into problems. **What problems is Lano solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have about 350 remote employees in 17 countries and Lano helps us audit, approve, and view all their payroll information on a single screen - they call this "payroll consolidation" which is quite powerful. It also connects with our HR systems and other software to let us sync all changes before making payments from their lano "wallet". ### 17.
