**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

I like that LaborIQ uses up-to-date labor market data, which means the salary information it provides is not only current but also reflects real-time market trends. This is important as a recruiter so I can guide my clients with salary ranges that are competitive and fair. LaborIQ also allows me to bridge the gap between client expectations and market realities. It serves as a convincing, data-driven way to inform and educate my clients. I love that I have the ability to input specfic data about a company, like it's size and revenue, which allows the tool to generate a more tailored salary recommendation.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

I don't dislike anything about LaborIQ, but when I have a suggestion to make the tool better the team is always open to listening to me and they ususally find a way to implement my suggestion.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

I was very impressed by the depth and quality of LaborIQ's data. The comprehensive and up-to-date information in the reports gave me a clear and precise understanding of the current salary landscape across various industries. These reports are not just data but also include easy-to-read guides on salary recommendations based on geographic location, experience level, organization, job specifications, and availability of talent within the market. 

The company's platform is not only user-friendly, but it also allows for in-depth customization of the data. At times, the specific job title I require may not be available in their system. Nonetheless, I appreciate their willingness to promptly incorporate any needed job title into their system to accommodate my needs.

Many factors impact pay practices, and keeping up with a continuously evolving market can be challenging. LaborIQ's reports are extremely accurate since they partner with payroll processing organizations to get their data. Since their data is updated every two weeks, it is easier to provide real-time data and pay transparency to my clients.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

The salary feature in Labor IQ is the most helpful tool in my toolbox; I use it almost every day! It's lays out everything beautifully and really helps our clients understand what is going on in the market. The graphs, bullet points, and customizable logo give it a very detailed and personalized touch, which is always nice when doing sales.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

I wish the industry/job title search was easier to navigate, but it's still the best platform out there! Plus, the LaborIQ team has great customer service and is always loooking from feedback from its users.

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaborIQ helps demystify salary ranges and helps our clients understand what the job market is like, which in turn helps us get a job order (staffing) that is workable. We get higher rates for our candidates and quality talent for our clients.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

Not only is LaborIQ easy to use, but the breadth and depth of the coverage the platform offers is beyond anything else available. In addition to being able to search by job title, location, education level and years of experience, you can also specify company size (in revenue and headcount) and the industry (based on NAICS code). But what really rakes LaborIQ to the next level is that they validate their recommendations agains nearly 9 million W2s every month to make sure the data remains accurate and moves with the market. Phenomenal!

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

I honestly can't think of any downsides. For example, if the platform doesn't have your job title already, the super-helpful LaborIQ support team will do the research to add the title to their database. The support I've received from them since becoming a client is terrific!

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to consult on what it takes, from a compensation perspective, to both attract and retain employees in this highly-competitive labor market. My clients love the data!

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

I liked a number of things:

 - salary answer reports are saved, organized and then also further manipulatable as needed.
- Both Sales and Customer Success were extremely helpful and relatable, which was a very different experience from the other company I had a demo with. This was really key for me because I am a realtive newbie, staring up the mountain of "how do I do compensation" and they answered my questions with patience and with their own curiosity when we needed to figure something out together. 
- I like how everything has a visual, and not just numbers. There are a few different ways to compare and filter results. Different positions call for different search techniques.
- The tutorial library is pretty big

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

- I didn't like that some positions weren't there or that the descriptions felt off or bare bones. It made me wonder how new Labor IQ was and I had some doubts, briefly. But they made up for it by finding and researching a new position and met with me about it. Shout out to Amy and team.
- I didn't like that the job comparison feature wasn't available yet. But I saw a sneak peak and it is coming!

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped anwer the quesiton of "are we meeting the market", and also solved the problem of feeling like we couldn't share salary range info internally because... we didn't have salary ranges.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

There are so many great features about LaborIQ. The first is that it is consistenly updated with new features and requests by the LaborIQ team. They are always looking to improve the system where needed. It's also an incredibly user-friendly tool. I train employees on how to use LaborIQ and they always understand it very quickly because of how intuitive the layout is. LaborIQ compensation reports are extremely relevant to our clients and has helped our company increase revenue via salary data. LaborIQ also helps our candidates get a higher compensation rate, so it's a win-win for everyone! I also find the employment conditions report to be incredibly detailed and useful.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

The only downside to LaborIQ is that some of the data is tied to BLS and therefore cannot be adjusted. (i.e. The BLS combines Health and Education Services under the same industry in the empoloyment conditions report, and therefore cannot be separated in LaborIQ).

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaborIQ helps set realistic expecatations for our clients about recommended pay in specific metro areas. Via LaborIQ compensation reports, we have increased bill rates on several occassions to get candidates the pay they deserve and increase revenue for the company. LaborIQ is an invaluable tool in getting candidates fair compensation in today's market.

And, no compensation data is updated and validated more frequently than LaborIQ.  It's clear you are a power user regarding your point about subsector data from BLS (over 30 years of employer surveying). This data is provided through our tracking and forecasting at the subsector level in our Market Performance section of the platform and informs industry growth and recovery forecasting -- which directly ties to hiring forecasts by subsector and metro.   Worth noting for other users is that this feature is specific to the Market Analysis/Market Performance area of LaborIQ, not Salary Answers. Within Salary Answers, there are 1600 industries, including many in healthcare and education -- separated. When creating a report in SA, reference the list of all industry codes, including Healthcare, Education, Software Publishers, Construction industries, etc., and select. This allows you to drill into the data at the most granular level.   Great power-user feedback!

It's incredibly easy to use. Your Customer Service is unmatched and you make us feel heard as a client. Also, you make my job easier as I'm able to reference your market updates and additional posts.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

The only dislike is, I wish I could download report variations quicker. IE the client wants to see an HR Manager with a Degree and without with 3-5 years of experience I have to download 4 reports one at a time. Wish this could be more effecient.

Giving us credibility in setting salaries or bill rates for our clients. You make us look more like subject matter experts in our staffing field.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

In general LaborIQ is not as what it was sold the sales process prested the system to be a lot more robsut than it is.   We were told that they would add jobs if they were not in thier database, then when we asked for that we were told that is not an option.  Data is not relaiable and no explanation can be given when we question it.  An example would be that a position will show the same salary for 5 years with a bachelors verse 10 years with a masters and that is not realistic or it will show no change in salary when you compare a small company verse a very large company.  Ourt contact changed and we were never made aware of the change we had to reach out and ask who our contact was after the old contact was no longer reachable.

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A we don't feel that the data is realiable.

The database is a national repository of over 20,000 job titles and back by the most robust representative data set in software.  We use research and data scientists to ensure that a job title request is not a "only unique to one company" request, to be placed in the system.  While that level of uniqueness would be valuable to one user, there is no validation method used to compare and ensure accuracy for a total blend of unique skills, responsibilities and naming conventions.  Accuracy is our hallmark. Regarding data explanations, we can connect you directly with our head of data analytics or our head of labor economics.  We make this resource available to any client who requests a deeper dive.  Our data science method is backed by time series and forecasts, labor migration, wage fluctuation and economic impacts and the most consistent salary survey method used in compensation.  There is no data more timely and transparent.  Lastly, please know we do everything in our power to partner with our clients, and inform them when a change occurs in personnel. Salary Answers is so helpful to understand the current most competitive pay for an array of roles and getting to specify by industry, employee size and location. A game changer to correctly educate clients on what pay expectations are currently at in the labor market.

I would like to be able to download an array of reports with varying education, or years’ experience. So, the client can see the changes in pay, with differences in requirements for the role.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

LaborIQ is tool we find valuable. Our contact and customer success is responsive and very good at what they do. There's high-quality support when you join. The user interface is much more user-friendly than Salary.com CompAnalyst. 

We feel like overall that LaborIQ gives a solid baseline/ballpark, but as far as hard numbers, it's not an exact science. Not a knock on LaborIQ - we understand this is a challenging area to play in, especially given the state of the world. There will never be perfectly solid data as to what the market truly looks like for any position. Since companies started hiring so many remote roles, it has increased the competition. Companies now have to fight for attention amidst so many other options, including companies that are better able to pay the recommended salary amounts or higher.

This software gives helpful guidelines that you can change and adapt based on how specialized your industry or need is. For example, we had a financial controller role and we were specifically looking for experience in the SaaS B2B space. Since we had that specialization that wasn't be represented in LaborIQ, LaborIQ's recommended payrange was 70k below what we ended up paying for our selected candidate. So we keep in mind that we may be above the range depending on how specialized our experience requirements are.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

With the specialization of the roles with similar titles across industries, there can be some challenges assessing what titles match your specific job requirements, especially since it seems a majority of their titles are client submitted. The more industry-specific and high-level your job, the less likely it will be that you'll find the exact match on LaborIQ. Also there's no way to see if it's a fit until you click into a specific role, load it and scroll down two pages to job responsibilities. For example, maybe I'm searching for an Accounting Manager, but that's going to look different in the tech industry than it is in manufacturing, but I don't know the origination of the role until I'm reading the job duties and see manufacturing-related phrases. 

If you need to submit a new job title, they don't charge extra, but it can take up to a week or more, which if you're moving fast and trying to add your salary range to your job description, can be a bit of a delay.

Search feature could be better. When you search a title, you have to pick just one and click in to see if it will work for you. Also, there's no "results" display. It would be great if there was a page of results and identifying tags like industry.

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it often for both internal equity and setting ranges for hiring. It has helped us when recruiting to figure out why we aren't getting interest in a particular role.

Being able to have compensation data at the tip of your fingers. We've used LaborIQ almost daily, but it was during a Company-wide salary assessment that it came in the handiest.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

LaborIQ gives us realistic salary ranges that are verified by credible 3rd parties - which has saved me dozens of hours every year validating appropriate salaries.  This solution is also really robust.  We have the ability to look at not just salary averages but also the total compensation averages in a particular geography.  We can also factor in education levels, years of experience, employee and revenue size of your company and industry you participate in to develop an offer that most closely aligns with what you need.  In an instant, I can now be competitive with compensation and get the talent I want.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

I would like them to add a cheat sheet for the NAIC codes so that I can evaluate salaries for an industry more quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering LaborIQ:**

The support team is one of the best I have worked with - they can clarify anything you may need.

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I spent about 30 hours creating salary bands (minimum, average and high) for all of our 25 roles and then in all five of our regions.  Having a portal, and being able to set up reports, this same information is delivered to me in seconds.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

The ease of use is probably the most significant asset that LaborIQ has over comparative products; however, the tool is highly functional, and the information is quickly accessible.  I also like the ability to change company size and see the dramatic effect it has on roles.

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

While there is little to dislike, I find that there are too many job titles listed which makes it challenging, IMO, to ensure that you are using the most accurate information.  There are more than a dozen titles for Registered Nurse, for example.  Additionally, it is only currently of use for roles in the United States.  In reality, this is nitpicking at its finest because I think the tool is excellent and highly valuable.

**Recommendations to others considering LaborIQ:**

LaborIQ is a far more functional tool than competitors like Emsi or Salary.com  It is so easy to use!

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most impactful part of the tool is our ability to set expectations with hiring managers.  Often, hiring managers have certain opinions and beliefs about what the market supply & demand is as well as pay rates.  We find that providing LaborIQ data upfront, allows us to be proactive with our partners about approaching the open roles and how they should proceed.

**What do you like best about LaborIQ?**

I use LaborIQ's compensation tool most often.  It is amazing how you can drill down into company size, location and industry to receive relevant compensation data.  I often compare different job titles and markets to have a thorough understanding of market conditions.  The reports are excellent and easily transferred into my own presentation or printable as a presentation.
The team is consistently requesting feedback from customers and making upgrades to features all the time.  It just keeps getting better and better!

**What do you dislike about LaborIQ?**

There's nothing to dislike.  The system is easy to use - everything is clearly labeled and easy to navigate.  The data is relevant and explorable in an intuitive way.

**What problems is LaborIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The compensation tool helps me to guide my clients in compensation discussions.  I'm able to back-up my own knowledge with data, as well as present it in a way that is visually educational.  We can review different job titles to understand compensation differences as well as associated skills with each title.  It's a strategic advantage for both me and my clients.
