**What do you like best about Krystal?**

Krystals infrastructure is great. We have never experienced any downtime and their support is top-notch. The portal is easy to use and sites are easy to migrate and use. Customer service is always willing to go above and beyond, several times the tech team have helped me with issues that were outside of their support role.

Update as of 24/10/2025: Krystal still remains a vital part of our buisness and they have only gotten better. They now offer a website builder.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

I have always had a perfect service from Krystal so I cant see any negatives.

Update: Still nothing to mention here, no issues.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a solid and relaible hosting solution helps our MSP immensly as we offer uninteruppted uptime on websites. The ease of use and all round fuctionailty of the Krystal panels is great for a reseller. The costs are very fair and you get excellent support alongside a solid server. 

Update: We now use Krystal for hosting .gov.uk domains, as all other registrars do not do this. Sometimes it takes a few weeks, but I think that's standard as it relies on Gov depeartments. But no issues with the process.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

The support is the main thing that has kept me at Krystal for years for hosting services. I started with Smart Hosting, which was later taken over by Krystal.  They have always been very responsive and knowledgeable.  

The package I use is pretty full featured. Though it not the cheapest hosting out there, you get a lot to leverage if you know how to use it, which I do daily. Though I have not really touched the sides of possibilities. there is a lot you can do with free, included features that come with Softaculous and other scripts, while Cpanel makes it a breeze to install and manage sites and server resources.  For instance the 5-minute installs with Wordpress and other install scripts mean you can implement sites and services very quickly and easily.

Levels of integration with other products and services really depends on your skill level but hosting services have many common frameworks and open source utilities to make integreation easy and possible.

There are cheaper packages on Krystal itself, which allow from some experienting and exploring dabbling with hosting or for hosting one or a few specific sites at an afforable level. 

The servers are very fast, even with my badly implement CMS sites they can still hold up for reasonable user experience. 

Also am really grateful for the fact that Krystal have shown loyalty and patience to me as a humble customer, when I have needed it. 

Highly recommended hosting UK-based service.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

I don't really have any dislikes. 
The closest to downsides is the price is not cheap but then the service is exceptional. And if you make the most of it, it can pay you back. 

Also I wish sometimes I can get to root level access for certain installations - however as a shared hosting service, this is understandable security restriction. And I do need to use Cpanel mostly rather than command line interactions.

So these are not really dislikes but adding balance.

Easily launch and manage websites and online services, with additional support when needed. Possible to replace a number of paid/premium services if you know what you look for amongst hosting features.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

I have been hosting my own and client websites since 2001. I have been through some hosts I can assure you. For a long while, remained with a competitor of Krystal who, to be fair were good. 

Having migrated a client account to Krystal it was a no brainer to move mine. To go from a good 8 score with the old host to a 9.6/7 with Krystal was a game changer. Nothing in particular was better  - but Krystal managed to give there all across the board. 

Of course nothing stays the same and I've seen hosts come and go. For some reason Krystal manage to outdo themselves at each stage. 

Nutshell. Really bloody pleased to have them as a service provider for me and for my clients.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

At the moment, they are .3 off perfect. 

But hey, giving them a 10 would be like saying they couldn't do any better. I feel they will so I'm holding back a couple of ticks so I can award them later.

Everything is  well done by them.
Products are excellent with super keen pricing.
Support and customer service are always as expected - excellent.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

I was looking for a friendly hosting comany, that also cared about the environment. Tired of the bigger hosting companies that kept getting taken over by even bigger hosting companies, I found Krystal. What a breath of fresh air. And as an environmetnalist myself, totally impressed to their commitment to green energy and sustainability I  currently have reseller hosting with them for my clients, and business hosting for myself. In the many years I have been with them, I have never had any issues, maybe minor communication confusion, but every single ticket without exception was resolved, and with friendly and professional support team. I literally can't find anything bad to say about Krystal which is why I am also an affiliate, and also refer my own clients to them as I offer sustainability coaching. I encourage clients to run green businesses, and help them with the digital aspect.. so that means green hosting, green energy, as a start. Seriously - I have nothing but praise. And they probably don't even know how many clients I have referred to them! or how often I have talked about them in my podcasts and workshops. So. Just. Switc. To them. It's a no brainer. And my websites load fast, performs great, and if anything goes wrong, Support will help. Everytime. Via email ticket or live chat. Thanks Krystal. Keep up the good work. **What do you like best about Krystal?**

Having used Krystal for years, (I'm an amateur web builder), I am absolutely amazed by the fact there hasn't ever been any problems with downtime. 

As some tasks and bugs can be a little bit too complicated for me to solve, the customer service is absolutely incredible. Any issues I've come across (usually because I've done something wrong!) has been solved almost instantaneously by customer service. I'm very happy being a Krystal customer and feel in very safe hands here. Great company with a service that's absolutely rock solid.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

I honestly can't think of anything. Very happy with the service!

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually run into issues surrounding DNS records and IP addresses as I don't pay much attention to the details when setting up domains and email addresses. The customer service can spot these issues like a hawk and fix them immediately and I'm always impressed by how quickly they do this and are overwhelminly helpful. A phenomenal team.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

Krystal are a B-Corp (which aligns with our company ethos and ethics), and provide a really quick response even to "non-urgent" tickets, 24/7.

They're less expensive than most other providers & they provide more space on their shared servers than other high-street named hosting providers for less money. I've had loads of problems in the past using the bigger named providers where I ran out of inodes, RAM, etc and yet with Krystal, I haven't even used 30% of what's available. 

(Don't tell them that as they may put their prices up!)

Oh, and you get an affilliate link when you move to them as a thank you. 

What is there more to like??

cPanel is a little clunky, but the support team are there to help and there are plenty of well written guides that are regularly updated to help you.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Krystal are great as far as I can see. I wanted to find a better hosting provider than I'd been using for the previuous few years as their bills were about to jump from the initial "buying you a s a new client" prices. Krystal were cheaper, better and also aligned to our eco ethics as we plant trees (and a lot more besides) as well.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

When I need help I generally needed it like yesterday. I really like how quick and responsive they are when I submit tickets. Bendo Oates has been a godsend and has been super speedy at fixing my issues when I had users my end reporting that my website was coming up not safe. He ran a scan, checked plugins and offered a plan forward, which fixed the problem but he was quick to answers any questions I had.

Genuinley the people at the other end have actual knowledge and aren't just reading from a script in a centre somewhere. They are helpful and fix my issues that arise (normally self inflicted) without causing me any further stress.

The platform is easy to use, billing is simple to sort out. It does exactly what I need it to and probably a whole lot more but I don't have a complicated set up. 

I migrated over from a previous company and although skeptical at first I've never had any issues or down time. The migration was effortless and smooth and since they've taken over they've done nothing but improve the service and hardware.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

Nothing that I can think of. I don't like 2 factor auth but that is being rolled in all over.

I've mentioned previously it's the customer/tech support, it's actually helpful and supportive.

The products are good value for money, the customer service is consistently excellent (based on four years experience) and on top of that its ethical and sustainable. There's nothing else I've found to match it.

Easy, secure, performant WordPress and email hosting. I get almost no spam or malware, those are all captured by their excellent filtering. My sites run quickly and without issue.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

I've been using hosting companies to host my multiple websites for my small business for over 20 years, some good, some not so good.

I decided to change companies after my last host put their prices up. After research I decided on Krystal. Their packages, features and prices were impressive and when I signed up, they migrated my existing sites over and made sure everything was running perfectly.

Customer support was superb, Ben Coleman in particular was fantastic, going above and beyond to make sure everything was just so, including answering all my daft questions. Even answering queries in the evenings and weekends.

I can't fault the service and support I've had so far, it's far and away the best I've experienced in over 20 years of dealing with hosting companies.

Nothing, the only dislike I have is that I never found them sooner. 😉

Krystal are by far the best hosting company that I've come across. 

As a truly independent hosting provider, they have superb customer service, answering queries in minutes rather than days.

Can't fault them, if I'm honest. I have moved over 100 clients to them and have had no problems with anything.

They have a very affordable hosting platform which is scalable to any needs. The servers are by far the fastest I've used and have loads of functionality, including free backup and SSL certificates.  Plus 100% green!

The thing that puts them head and shoulders above the competition is their technical support. Even if I open a ticket and mark it as low priority I usually have a response within an hour or so and frequently much faster. The help is always first class too, delivered by intelligent, knowledgeable people.
On top of that their hosting is fast, relieble and reasonably priced.

Support staff are quick and detailed in their responses and actually seem keen to get issues resolved. I've felt "brushed off" with other hosts and providers in the past, but never with Krystal.

Recent change in hosting packages have meant we've been pushed into an upgrade I don't feel we needed, but there are some benefits to it.

As a web developer I use many clients hosting companies and not one has the support level that Krystal has. They always respond quickly and the issues are always resolved with great efficently. I try to get all my clients to move their accounts to Krystal as these are the easist company to deal with.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

Their customer service team is excellent. I've asked them technical questions about specific sites, sought their recommendatons for migrations and gradually scaled how much we use them to host our client sites as a result. They have plenty of different service plans/options for hosting so you can always find the right solution for a specific problem.

It's easy and flexible to contact them with no buggering about with useless AI chatbots. Response times are swift no matter what the channel. Price-wise, they're competitive too.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

Honestly, struggling to think of anything! Rather than a dislike, I wonder whether their domain management UI could be improved? Compared with other hosts, the experience feels a little dated. This is a minor gripe though.

Providing a perfect blend of reseller packages, VPS, migration advice and technical support.

UK based customer service, helpful, honest, and go the extra mile, interface is easy to navigate.

There is a bug which causes multiple payments to go out when registering a new domain under my reseller account. I've highligted this bug a couple of times, and is still there after a year.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

I host around 70 websites for clients on Krystal and in the 3 years I have used them I have found their support and service to be first class. Their pricing is reasonable and there is everything need for hosting and development. They use standard tools such as WHM so there is no learning curve.

Help is available by chat during working hours or by ticket. They have a comprehensive online help section as well.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

To be honest I have used a few hosting companies and I could see many downside (non-standard, slow, poor assistance etc) but Krystal is exactly what I need and I cen get to it very quickly. I can't see much of a downside.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Price and speed of sorting problems.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

I have personally used Krystal since 2013 for various small business web hosting projects. The service and support from the Krystal team has been superb and I have seen the constant improvements made to their service over the years. I have since been working for a Multi Academy Trust for the past 8 years and utilise Krystal to host some of our public websites, along with various private websites that serves roughly 7000 users over 18 schools.

The service has been excellent and their support has been increadibly quick and helpful when required. From an operational perspective I have had no issues with their hosting, they have superb DDOS mitigations in place so haven't had any downtime, and they have an excellent self-service facility for backup and recovery. I have also seen the steady improvements to their customer portal and hosting interface (e.g. the customised cPanel) to make management of all our services increadibly easy.

There are plenty of options to choose from at Krystal to make sure it's right for your organisation, but I would absolutely recommend Krystal as your hosting provider.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

Genuinely, I cannot find a fault in their service. I have used them for years and the service and support is exceptional.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralise all of our public domains and hosting requirements into a simplified hosted platform. This includes cPanel which includes numerous tools to simplify web hosting, and the entire service has built-in superb backup and recovery facilities for our organisation.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

Krystal are a perfect combination of great technology and readily available customer support.

They are transparent when there are (rare) issues, and are always approachable.

I like that they are a certified B Corp and actively work towards environmental goals.

I only recommend Krystal to my clients, they are lightyears ahead of the competition.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

I've never had an issue dealing with them.

The only thing I wish they had was static site hosting, but I would be suprised if that isn't being worked on in their lab.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me it's a perfect balance of performance and price, backed by custiomer support that is second to none.

If I need technical support their online chat has always been great, and the staff are knowledgable and friendly.

Support are phenomenal. In 5 years the longest I've waited for a reply is 5 minutes, always happy to help, give guidance and even support with fixes. I've tried a million and one hosting providers in my 10+ year career and none come close!

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

Everything is literally great, only thing that could be improve in my opinion is the domians section of the site. UX is slightly clunky compared to competitors, but again nothing major!

I host multiple client websites on Krystal, agency ones too (I've used them across 3 agencies now).

Super simple setup, never goes down, support is AMAZING when you need them.

**What do you like best about Krystal?**

They offer a full range of packages for all levels of clients. We currently use them for reseller hosting. We have around 15 clients direct with them. Their customer service team is fantastic and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Krystal?**

If I were to be super critical, it would be shared account access so we can log into our customer's accounts from one account. We use whm for the reseller side, but we have several clients we have signed up directly. This is a nice to have, not a necessity.

**What problems is Krystal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need hosting for all of our clients, whether that for websites or custom software we have developed. Krystal hosting helps us achieve our goals for our clients.

The Krystal platform is easy to use and intuitive. The quality of the product is superb. The customer service is out of this world - the best I have experienced. The fact they are 100% green is the cherry on the cake.

Totally faultless experience to-date (one year on the platform).

Krystal allows us to run our data-heavy site on a platform that runs on renewables, which aligns with our values as a company. Their responsiveness as a team is extraordinary, which allows us to run a glitch-free service.

The support is exceptional. Ive never encountered any issues while dealing with them. Their exceptional customer support and affordable pricing make them an excellent choice. And  everything is fantastic.

Their servers are fast and reliable it would be great to have flexibility in tailoring the hosting environment to needs. sometimes glitchy.
