It is capable of doing so many incredible things to fit the needs of our upcoming library. The most amazing part of this whole process has been the customer service aspect. Nadeen Amr is possibly the best customer service rep for a company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She answers every question I have had (and I have had a lot of them)! She answers thoroughly and leaves no questions unanswered. For months we have been working on a project and she is always there for us when we need help or have more questions. I have had over 5 Zoom calls with her to discuss, and get in-depth with some product features. She is so helpful and always has an amazing attitude. I can't say enough about her :) I am lucky to have her help through this harrowing process of creating an online library. Thank you so, Nadeen. As for the product itself, its ease of use is immaculate, and so easy to upload and integrate with other systems and our website. The interface of the application is attractive and enjoyable. The customer support was also responsive and eager to help. **What do you dislike about Kotobee Author?** A slight downside is that the assistance pages can be too technical for someone without much expertise in ebook creation. The user interface is also modern and intuitive for beginners that are getting started. The software also allows you to import PDFs and ePub files. The ability to play around in the source mode also allows advanced users the ability to style their content much more fluidly than most other authoring tools on the market. This is very handy for that odd image or two that just need a little extra nudge to be pixel perfect. **What do you dislike about Kotobee Author?** Although the user interface is quite intuitive there's still somewhat of a learning curve. This is to be expected of all new software products though, but it is not much of an issue. It's just something to be aware of. **Recommendations to others considering Kotobee Author:** As with all new software, it is very important to read the documentation and also to watch a few YouTube videos before diving in to creating new documents with Kotobee Author. It is simple enough to learn on your own with practice, but there's no harm in getting initial guidance. I would also suggest starting with small documents just to get a clear understanding of the tool before committing to a full-on project and then struggling to bring out the best of your document when you get stuck. **What problems is Kotobee Author solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an Educator, I have been playing with Kotobee Author to create curated content for my classes. The fluid layouts make it better to digest on various device sizes. ### 4. I could not package with my trial, nor deliver to my mobile as a trial. The trial version reported "file too large" even though it was only 19Mb, less than afforded. **Recommendations to others considering Kotobee Author:** If Kotobee delivers on all it states as its capabilities, you need not look further for interactive E-learning or E-training material for the full range of e-delivery. I can unfortunately not give a full recommendation yet because I am still to use the unrestricted version of the authoring tool. **What problems is Kotobee Author solving and how is that benefiting you?** Embedding audio and video into a fixed layout manuscript for Epub. Buggy program. Unreliable. Suspicious behaviour for type of program it is. ie. It is doing things it shouldn't be doing. Not designed for offline use. **Recommendations to others considering Kotobee Author:** It behaves suspiciously for what the software purpose is. Support staff evasive with legitimate questions when probed. Every time we see an update, it seems to include something great that we hadn’t even thought of. So we regularly update our apps with new functionality, which keeps users coming back to our apps. The functionality and scope of Kotobee Author is great, but something else that sets this company apart is its dedication to its customers. I never feel like I’m waiting to get a response to an email, and if I experience a problem, the Kotobee team find a solution straight away. They really are second to none. **What do you dislike about Kotobee Author?** There's nothing negative I can really say.
