That’s why we’ve included outrageously powerful controls to help you manage your businesses, teams, and users in the most frictionless way possible. Controlling who can access which individual pieces of data and interface is critical to protecting your business and your customers. Hierarchical role-based access control is the best way to manage this. Allowing strict control and flexible assignment – aligning everything from your business view of the world right down to the code you ship to customers. Feature flags Deliver new experiences and increase the speed that your team deploys, learns and releases with feature-based continuous deployment. Shipping to production introduces a degree of risk. Continuous deployment helps to reduce risk and accelerate learning by empowering the team to deploy when ready and separating releasing from shipping. Feature flags are the heart of what makes this work.

## Kinde Reviews
  ### 1. Simple Authentication Setup, Needs Better Webhooks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumar S. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I like Kinde because it's super easy to use. It literally takes just two to five minutes to set up authentication, which used to be a tedious task. I also appreciate the very good documentation they provide, which makes it simple to integrate with the SaaS applications I'm working on. The platform's components for rendering and conditional rendering are also something I really like, as they are easy to use and helpful. Once the authentication is in place, I can focus on the main logic of my application without worrying about it, which helps me move fast and stay focused on what's more meaningful for my SaaS.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Webhooks, man, I wish they had better webhooks. I'm not sure if they have right now, but when I was using it, they did not have webhooks. I wanted users to also be synced in my database. So, yeah, webhooks are the one that can be improved.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kinde for authentication in my SaaS applications. It simplifies setting up authentication, which used to be tedious, and can be done in two to five minutes. The integration is easy, helping me focus on the main logic of my application rather than authentication.

  ### 2. Amazing Auth Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake N. | Head of Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Moving from Firebase to Kinde was easy and has allowed us to really increase the way we manage our SaaS platforms users and RBAC. Moving to kinde has been amazing for our business and has also helped us to ensure our security for clients is above the industry standard.

The new addition of the billing has been great too as we are able to move out of stripe and now have a single provider to handle our foundational user onboarding, billing and continued authentication.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

So far we have not found any limitation within kinde for our use case. All the features we needed and expected work perfectly.

I could suggest some reporting added directly within the Kinde management portal but with the ease of setting up the Kinde API with our CRM and having custom workflows we no longer have a need for reporting directly in Kinde

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to have an out of the box solution with a single provider that can address so many for national areas of a SaaS business has been the greatest benefit. What kinde offer really does allow anyone to get a SaaS business up and running from user management, billing and RBAC.

  ### 3. What a great product, so happy we found it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy G. | Senior Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde was super easy to integrate. We had to try and replace an existing Identity Server based customised solution so we had to try and make it work in place of our old solution with minimal rewrites and without completely changing our code. Kinde was up to the challenge and would have been even easier if we didn't have these restrictions in place.

The support we received from their team was fantastic, even in the lead up to the project when we were trying to select a solution, they were great in helping us evaluate Kinde and answering the many questions we had.

Once everything is set up, it just works really well. It's fast, easy to administer, and the pricing is very fair and reasonable compared to the competition.

The team is always building new features and growing the product so it's great to just see new helpful features appear!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

If any of your code is stuck on .Net Framework (rather than modern .Net) then they don't have an SDK, but implementing Kinde using the oauth token endpoints is still very easy.

Importing users via CSV has some limitations at the moment which I believe they will be working on in the future.

In some instances the docs were a bit vague or incomplete and I had to go to their support team.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing user login and registration, removing the need for us to manage user credentials, manage security and generate oauth tokens for securing APIs.

  ### 4. Migrating from Auth0 to Kinde

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy F. | Product Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Everything is simple and easy to use, yet the product is feature rich and comprehensive. They've manadge to do a great job of balancing technical features with clean and uncomplicated UI.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I've seriously found no downsides. Its a fabulous product and my only very minor complaint is i don't know how to pronounce the company name! Kind? Kind-e? ha!

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde provides our authentication mechanism for our SaaS platform.

  ### 5. Easy to setup, elegant solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamal C. | JavaScript Software Engineer, Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde is very easy to setup with my Nextjs project. It takes care of user session management for me with simple functions. I love that I didn't have to manually manage user sessions and cookies. User management is easy from the Kinde dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I wanted to change roles using the API. I found the API docs for the machine to machine tokens was confusing. I had to dig deep into their Slack channel to find this information. I wish they would write more clear instructions on this aspect of the tool.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde is solving the user authentication and authorization problem. It let's me use google sign in very easily to my application: MySocial.

**Official Response from Alex N:**

> Hi Tamal,

Thanks for the review and thanks for continuing to chat with our team about your feedback :)

  ### 6. One of the best authentication system out there for devs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anish B. | Tech Team, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Working with Kinde has been an awesome experience. Their Discord channel offers fantastic support, and the setup process is a breeze no matter what language you're using. The pricing is great, especially since you don't need a credit card to get started. Plus, you get two environments for testing your code in the free version, which is super handy. The community authorizations available are extensive, making integration smooth and secure. Kinde keeps impressing us with their ongoing improvements. We highly recommend them to any agency looking for a reliable auth solution.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Everything worked awesome while working with kinde, but last time I faced an error everytime while logging in in Firefox browers😅 it was working in my chrome ,but not in Firefox. Another thing, i would also like to know a way to store the users in a database like Mongodb or SQL :)

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde had helped me setup authentication system for my web application ;)

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Anish!

We'll look into Firefox for you. Thanks for raising.

  ### 7. Easy to implement authentication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujal G. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

First of all, amazing work! Kinde provides seamless authentication on the user end and effortless integration for the developers. I was able to integrate kinde with my next.js app in less than 10 minutes (literally) cause the documentation is very clear and straightforward, telling exactly what to do!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Personally I never ran into an issue with kinde since I used it on a small project of mine but I think since kinde is kinda new in the authentication market so the community support won't be as huge when compared to other providers but that's just a matter of time with the services kinde provides.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde helped me with easy authentication implementation on my website! I had to code one on an urgent basis and it required an authentication feature. So, I searched for an authentication provider, kinde showed up and man the integration was effortless, had to install their sdk and add keys! Create some folders and file and it's done.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Sujal! Glad you're enjoying Kinde so much.

  ### 8. Quick, hassle-free setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The Kinde setup was very straightforward. It's the first Auth tool that I implement myself, so I can't compare, but I was satisfied with the experience. So far, I've received a timely reply on all of my support requests.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

My implementation was fairly basic, but I did notice some missing features that required workarounds. There are also some integrations to email campaign services and analytics tools that seemed available with other Auth providers that weren't yet available for Kinde.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde offers an out-of-the box auth management solution that saves me from handling auth, password management, password recovery, etc. by myself.

**Official Response from Alex N:**

> Thanks for the review Jeremy :)

  ### 9. Finally an affordable login solution that is actually good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I found Kinde looking for an affordable alternative to Auth0. Auth0's recent price hikes of 3x+ and their maximum monthly user limit of 20,000 MAUs without switching to an enterprise plan were a killer for me. Kinde offers plans with no MAU limits and a very affordable monthly price.

The default kinde login UI is clean and simple and more intuitive than Auth0's Lock.

Most importantly, Kinde's support has been there since day 1. After reviewing 10+ Auth0 alternatives, I settled on 3 which I actually booked calls with. The great people at Kinde were friendly, responsive and I truly felt they were there to help me. After signing up, the support team was there with answers, most times within 12 hours. In the few situations where I was looking for a feature that didn't exist, they considered the request and actually implemented the feature. The team has been great.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Kinde is growing fast, but because it is a newer platform it isn't as feature-rich as Auth0. Luckily their support team has been responsive, considered my requests, and has actually scheduled out development to enhance the product.

It would also be nice if the Login UI could be customized like Auth0's Lock via JavaScript. This is something that has helped me handle detecting when a user is logging in within a WebView so the "Sign in with Google" button can be disabled since this is a scenario that isn't allowed via Google and provides the users with a bad login experience. Alternatively, it would be great if Kinde could do this detection on our behalf. That would be even better than what Auth0 is doing.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized user access management.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Hey Ryan! Thank you for the extensive review.

Glad that you're enjoying the degree of support.

We're working on greater customizability for the Login UI in a manner that is sustainable and aligned with our focus on security. We'll have some new features for you to test soon.

  ### 10. Best-in-class authentication as a service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie S. | Lead Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Extremely easy to integrate into existing software products. Also they genuinely have great technical/product support through multiple platforms which I have taken advantage of on numerous occassions. They offer all of this for free, although their pricing once you get a substatial number of users is very reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

There are some features that haven't been released yet which I'm looking forward to, however they're on their public roadmap, and always open to discussing status and expected timelines. That being said, the product is already very feature complete.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To put it simply, it makes the process of setting up and integrating social login, SSO, and MFA very simple. I'm a software engineer, and having been tasked with finding the ideal authentication as a service solution, Kinde is definitely up there with the heavy hitters.

I will be continuing to use Kinde moving forward, and I will be using the product again for future projects.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Jamie! Glad you're enjoying Kinde and the support offering.

Excited for a few of those features to come out.

  ### 11. How Auth Should Be

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moyo G. | Technical Co Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I love Kinde for its price point and ease of use. Too many Auth services like to hide basic security features behind a massive monthly/yearly bill, but Kinde does not. They provide excellent service regardless of whether you take their pricing into account; however, when you do, they are leagues above all the other Auth services.

Their client libraries also make implementing auth into your site so easy and if you run into an issue, their support is responsive and quick to solve issues.

Their roadmap also lists exciting features that are on their way and you can even subscribe to them so you're alerted when they progress to production.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

One downside I would say about Kinde is that I would like more multi-user actions, e.g., being able to select multiple accounts to perform an action on.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Authentication, and in the future, SAML Authentication are the main problems Kinde is solving for me.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you for the kind words Moyo!

  ### 12. Effortless Authentication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The documentation is very clear and Kinde offers tons of SDK options to really hit the ground running. I was able to implement auth in my app fairly quickly. The Kinde team pushes out updates pretty often and are extremely responsive. The billing feature while in Beta is honestly one of the top reasons I decided to choose Kinde as my Auth Provider. The team has been killing it!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

The downside about using a new authentication service like this is that when you do run into an issue there isn't a ton of information available online that's actually help but Kinde support is very responsive and the community is growing pretty fast. I wish there were a bit more custom inputs in regards to user sign up, it's a bit limited at the moment.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde offers auth as well as billing which is an awesome integration that saves a ton of dev time

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you!

  ### 13. Solid auth platform for worry free MVP launches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rikin K. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

It's super easy to setup and run without a lot of planning. It integrates well with our tech stack and the dashboard is easy to use for our non-technical team members as well. The support is also very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Sometimes, the documentation can be out of date or inaccurate. We've encountered some unpredictable behaviour different from what the documentation says. The support has been helpful in resolving the bugs.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde gives us a fully featured auth platform with many features without much effort for our small team.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Rikin! Glad Kinde is helping.

If there are any specific docs you're referencing, please let us know via support@kinde.com and we'll make sure there are no problems.

  ### 14. Easy to use and Good.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S. | Development Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

It provides all the basic functions I need and makes them simple to understand and use. The online help and code examples are very useful and let us create a Proof Of Concept very quickly. it's easy to see that the product has been developed by people who know and understand the developers they are trying to attract.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

There is no billing function yet and the customer managment functions are a bit clunky.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple and straightforward access to identity Managment with easy links to (e.g.) Azure AD authentication.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Mark, we'll have billing out and ready for you in the coming months.

Glad to hear you're enjoying Kinde and thank you for your review.

  ### 15. Easy Migration, Great Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel . | Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

We recently migrated our web application from a self-hosted auth solution to Kinde auth. I found the process to be extremely smooth and found minimal issues during the migration.

For any questions I had, the support team was responsive and helpful in both the discord server and through the online chat.

We are now delving in to the features offered in the Kinde dashboard and finding that they are both easy to use and abundant.

The technical documentation was also great and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Though the technical documentaion was well written, I found it to be missing some detail for some more obscure functions I was looking at using for our implementation.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Security in not having to self-host my own authentication solution
- Functionality in not having to write everything myself, now that Kinde is implemented, all of its features are a click away

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Joel, we really appreciate how much help you offer in Kinde's communities.

Connor.

  ### 16. Great product, great value, even better support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde provide some really great features and make it easy to enable auth and access control for your application.
They offer a myriad of SDKs to get you started quickly. I was even able to request new features for the Remix SDK and the team were very receptive and welcoming of feedback.

They support multi-tenancy out of the box so there's no need to bend and hack things to fit your use case.

Their pricing is competitive and fair and the support has been fantastic. I love having a direct line to technical people via Discord.

I'm really looking forward to the release of their event hooks (webhooks), billing and subscription management features.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

There isn't much to dislike to be honest.

I use Kinde's auto-generated .NET client. I found a couple of times that Kinde's management API had changed but the client hadn't been re-generated.
However, a quick chat on Discord saw this resolved quickly.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde makes it easy to authenticate and authorize users in my application.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Such an excellent read, thank you Chris!

On those releases, webhooks is a matter of weeks, and Billing public release ideally in early Q2, we'll let you know.

Thanks,
Connor.

  ### 17. Kinde has made authentication a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riku R. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I like that Kinde manages almost everything for you. You just set your app and variables on the site and you are good to go. Their site is intuitive, has a beautiful UI and good documentation.

They also have active community channels!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I really can't name a thing. So far I have enjoyed their service tremendously.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde solves implementing OAuth2.0 with role and permission management for next.js 14.
Kinde also solves managing and viewing users.
Also for teams, using OAuth providers through Kinde means less local .env setups for teams, since they are configured in the Kinde dashboard

This helps me make the app development take less time. I do not have to setup an OAuth2.0 manually/or with some other solution.
It's really just almost plug and play experience. it keeps us moving fast as a two person team.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Riku!

No dislikes is always incredible to hear. Glad you're enjoying using Kinde.

Connor.

  ### 18. Kinde is a perfect choice to omit building the authorization from scratch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan K. | Fullstack Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

- excellent support via the Discord channel
- really easy setup with almost any language you can imagine
- good price
- no credit card required
- two environments in the free version for testing the code
- all the community authorizations you can imagine

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

- some sdk are outdated
- some sdk have more features than others

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use kinde to authenticate and authorize users in my mobile application

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Jan! Let us know which SDKs you're having problems with and we'll get those fixed up for you. We're in the process of massively improving our mobile SDKs in the coming months.

Glad you're enjoying the ease of use and support offering.

  ### 19. Great identity application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Consuktant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde is a great solution for our application, great identity management, with enterprise level feature for a great price,
Support team is always available to help and answer questions.
It's realy easy to implement, we had few questions but once clarified, everything is easy.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Nothing found for now, everything we are using is working as expected

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User account provisionning and manage access in a SaaS application

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you David!

  ### 20. Excellent and fast-to-ship

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

While they may be lacking some features, they're incredibly fast at shipping product updates and are usually more than happy to give you a timeline on your requests (which in my experience they have met every single time).

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Like I said, they lack some features. But that's expected for a small player.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide dead-simple user management that makes it easy to run a SaaS company.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks for the kind words Alex!

Glad to hear we're meeting your product requests.

Regards,
Connor.

The quick and easy authentication setup is the upside of the kinde authentication. We can easily Integrate it with multiple frameworks.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

There are no downside of kinde found till my observation or usage they are constantly updating their platform to improve the quality.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde is solving my user authentication and user account generation using multiple authentication platform.

  ### 22. Simple and elegant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike A. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I love how simple and easy to use Kinde has been. It helped our business go from nothing to a functioning app so much quicker.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I have yet to come across any downsides as of yet.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need a simple way to have secure authentication. Kinde offers one of the cleanest and simplest ways to accomplish that.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Mike!

No downsides is always good to hear.

  ### 23. From Casual Creator to Online Business, Kinde Fits.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Regardless of which SDK your application is built with, implementing Kinde can be accomplished in a few short lines of code. Kinde offeres more than a dozen popular social logins giving my users the option to leverage the login of their choice. Or they can create an account just for my applicaiton. Kinde consolidates all of these logins and provides me with a single approach toward user authentication in my application. Kinde handles all user registration, logins, logouts, and more all in the same package. It looks professional, works well, and is safe. Kinde's pricing structure is very attractive to causal creators or people looking to start an online business. A developer can test the waters then upgrade the service for a very affordable price. Finally, Kinde is backed up by a substantial amount of documentation all clearly written and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I have no complaints. Kinde does exactly what I need and does it well.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem was user authentication and authorization. As a casual creator I am limited when it comes to technical ability to develop web applications. With my surrent project it was very important to me to have a secure method for users to log in. Kinde provides my application with this service in a very easy to implement package.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> "No complaints" is an incredible thing to read.

Thank you, Anthony.

  ### 24. Ease of Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres G. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

I like the seamless integration process that significantly reduces development time. The provided SDKs and APIs are well-documented, making it easy for developers of all skill levels to implement Kinde.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Set up for SMS authentication are limited and at the moment only allow you to configure Twilio

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The user experience with Kinde is exceptional. It offers a smooth and fast login process, enhancing the overall user satisfaction. Users can quickly log in with their preferred social media accounts without the need for lengthy sign-up forms. This convenience can lead to higher conversion rates and better user retention.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Andres! Glad to hear you're enjoying the platform.

  ### 25. Exception Team and Support with Fair Pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The Kinde team, led by the CEO and everyone he leads has been phenomenal to deal with. They strive to deeply understand their customer's needs and operate with great integrity. Compared to their technology peers in this space, Kinde is a huge breath of fresh air.

From the technology side, incredibly easy to get up and running, with great support when you need it. Great value for money with pretty much all the features 99% of early stage tech engineers and founders will be looking for. Integrates really nicely with the most crucial enterprise and social auth providers right out of the box (I had Azure AD running inside a couple of minutes).

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Occasionally noticed small things like a particular SDK missing from the stack, however, the API made up for that so not really a big deal. Nothing bad to say about them to be honest.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde offered us a friendlier pricing model, especially for the number of enterprise connections we required. Our previous provider's pricing model had incredibly unfair pricing once we needed more than 3 enterprise connections, resulting in the ludicrous situation where winning a single new deal requiring Active Directory (pushing us past 3 connections) could have been net cash flow negative after the required huge increase in spend with the auth provider.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you David.

We're all big fans of you and the RiskTalk team around the company, and so glad to see you succeed.

Cheers,
Connor.

  ### 26. Super simple to get started.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** josh m. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Easy to set up, fair pricing structure. 10/10

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Can't think of anything. It's a great service.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde allowed me to setup auth for my webapp in minutes. Managing my users is also very easy.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Josh!

  ### 27. Simple and Better! (Especially for SDE interns like me)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumar S. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

As an SDE intern whose starting with new framework like NextJS, the traditionally used auths were a bit complicated to me as that required a complex pre configurations. But when I tried Kinde, I realised at that moment that this auth is something different, Kinde was really simple to use and the best part of it... was the user managment system that they provided.

As a developer, I can literally go to the dashboard and review the profiles that are login, visualize it while implementing new features.. That kinda of things added a lot of value to me in my developer's journey. They even got a good customer support.

Using Kinde, I was able to make SaaS application's auth in mins, and I think that's just awesome!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I haven't found any downsides of using Kinde as it leverages simplicity when it comes at integrating it. I was able to use Kinde a bit too often to make my SaaS application.
Implementation part was also a bit easy as it did't require much of pre configurations. Although, I would love to see if they are able to add a feauture where developers can customise user profile(image) using Kinde itself.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde helped solve the painful complex pre configuration that every developer had to go through while intergrating auths in their app, it helped to simplify the problem, and helped me to save time and create more website and focus on the main features of my website. Overall, Kinde made me more productive.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Kumar!

Interesting point about user profile images, will speak to the team about that. Really glad to hear you've been enjoying Kinde.

Regards,
Connor.

  ### 28. preety nice option for auth integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annova P. | Pen Tester, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

easy to onboard and implement, i tried it for my personal projects using py, really liked the passwordless and the third-party login, saved a lot of time in development, the support is also good, i.e. interacting with actual persons instead of bots, the documentation is also easy to follow and less cluttered

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

not many bad things i find, just some little ones like last name is mandatory for a user and little and some of the features are still in beta, thus not for stable use as they may change over time, though they are not of a big issue

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made user authentication way easier to implement with easier third party integration, passwordless login and user management with roles and permissions

**Official Response from Evgeny K:**

> Thanks Annova!

Glad to hear you're enjoying Kinde. Particularly the support offering, it's a core focus for our team.

Connor.

  ### 29. Easy to integrate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dobromir N. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

It's easy to get started with it and the pricing is so much better than Auth0. They give you a custom domain on the free plan which is significant for small and not-yet-profitable apps.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

The latency can be a bit too much. I would also love to be able to choose what columns get displayed on the Users page. Number of sign ins is currently hidden inside the user profile, which is a bummer.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing signups and authentication.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Dobromir!

  ### 30. Kinde is good, and it keeps getting better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde is quite good for a managed auth solution. It's documentation is reasonably good and lists out the steps you have to take well. It wasn't difficult to set up kinde in my project, and it just works. It's UI looks beautiful. There's a good amount of features available, and since i started using it they released even more. You can also do a good amount of custom branding on your auth pages which I really appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I don't like that it doesn't have a nice solution for vercel preview URLs. The recommended solution is to set up a script to add the preview url using the API after building on vercel, but that feels a little sketchy. It's not too big of an issue though.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't want to manage auth myself, as it's annoying and time consuming to set up right, especially with oauth and password based together, so kinde is definitely solving the auth part of our applications. It really helps to lower the time necessary to make a new app and get to the first release.

**Official Response from Evgeny K:**

> Thanks Robin! Glad to hear you're enjoying Kinde. Love the comment on Kinde's UI.

We're improving Kinde's guides for setting up with Vercel. If you have more feedback please contact support@kinde.com

Cheers,
Connor.

  ### 31. Simply the easiest authentication library available. Period.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The overall ease of integration with this library is fantastic. It honestly takes me no more than 3 minutes to set everything up, which is a first for me, especially after trying numerous other authentication libraries. Besides the product itself, the customer support is excellent. I appreciate their proactive approach whenever I have a question or suggestion. They genuinely consider my feedback for potential improvements, which is quite impressive.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Honestly, there's not much to dislike. Kinde does exactly what it promises: it takes the friction out of building secure applications. The only issue I encountered recently was the lack of a webhook feature for sending emails based on specific events. However, after sending a brief email to their customer support, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were already working on this feature, which is slated for release in early 2024.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For those times when I'm building applications that require a secure method of authentication without too much friction during development, Kinde is my go-to solution. It allows me to set up a secure authentication system within minutes. Plus, its free tier is quite generous, making it ideal for (hobby) projects that simply need a reliable way to authenticate users and protect specific pages.

**Official Response from Evgeny K:**

> Thank you!

Hearing it took three minutes to get set up is wonderful.

Webhooks are just around the corner! It's a matter of weeks now.

Cheers,
Connor.

  ### 32. Genuinely, the easiest way to get your app up and running with real users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

We use Kinde for all of our clients' portals. Since we implement new portals monthly it is important that setting up the basics is quick + effective. With Kinde, it is!

The customer support responds < 1d, the current SDKs are great, and implementing a full user with org and role auth flow is so easy. Integrating with an existing user base is also dumb simple.

We use this product for every release. Not only is it simple, but it is relatively cheap.

Custom authentication, although not impossible or even hard, can sometimes just be a PITA. Auth0 + Cognito, do not have the level of support that Kinde has at the moment.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Kinde is young, there are some features that I think need to really get done. For example, custom favicons on logins, custom no-reply email sending, and some hooks for a fully customized UI would be great.

These are all on their dev roadmap I believe. Invest early in Kinde and I have a hard time believing you will be disappointed.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Auth, Org management, Role Management, Login, Email Verification, Logout, JWT managemnt

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks for the excellent review! Glad to hear you're using Kinde for every release & that user migration was simple.

Can say all of the features you requested are coming very soon.

Cheers,
Connor.

  ### 33. Auth is great again

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philipp M. | Senior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Working with Kinde is really great. A service that makes it super easy to integrate secure auth into our software products. The continuous further development is also impressive. We can recommend Kinde to any agency.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

So far we are completely satisfied and cannot make any statements under this point

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration Auth in our plattforms

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you for the kind words Philipp!

Appreciate your recommendation.

  ### 34. Multi-tenancy for t3-turbo

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamison S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Easy to use developer dashboard, easy to follow documentation, quick customer support via Discord, all the multi-tenancy features we needed like roles and multi-orgs.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Integration wasn't as straightforward as I would have liked. There's been some downtime with the service that's hindered productivity and access. No client side organization name fetch (only IDs). The price is expensive for our small team.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a multi-tenant authorization platform that ideally had a GUI for building out access controls. Kinde handled that swimmingly. The out of the box authentication workflow replaces/works together with Next-Auth.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Hey Jamison! Thanks for the kind words.

Would love to hear more about your experience and how we could improve if you could get in touch with support@kinde.com

Cheers!

  ### 35. Great and simple auth service - easy to add nextjs components

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The product has easy to add nextjs components!

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Nothing comes to mind. This is a great product.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adding a simple authentication to my nextjs app which integrates with popular login providers

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Moritz!

  ### 36. Passwordless auth made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy F. | Consulting Technology Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

The ease with which we were able to set up passwordless auth and the generous free tier while we are pre-launch both contributed to a great experience.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I am nitpicking, but finding the client-side settings page to manage callback URLs seems elusive. I end up clicking all over the place before I eventually find it. What is more annoying, and nothing to do with Kinde, is that I keep forgetting to bookmark it.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making authentication and authorisation a truly simple service

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Incredibly kind of you to review Troy, thank you.

I trust that it is now bookmarked, although I'll chat to the team about improving the accessibility there.

Thanks.

Kinde offers a rich set of auth features required for a SaaS application, at an extremely compelling price.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Latency could be improved. Both on the Admin UI and on Login.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handles auth in our multi tenant saas app

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you!

  ### 38. is good

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde is an excellent tool for managing user sessions

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

There is nothing that I don't like. is good tool

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a Kindle configuration I have access to several logins with social networks

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you Eduardo!

  ### 39. The Best Auth Solution For The Start-Ups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owotunmibi O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde is very cost-effective. I love the price model. It'll help many start-up companies grow their businesses as they protect their customers' data with Kinde Auth Solutions.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Presently, there is nothing I dislike about Kinde. The management can only add a feature for Hardware Token Activation for the authenticator.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde is securing our customers' data and preventing unauthorized access to our project web app.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you for the kind words Owotunmibi.

Always great to hear no negatives. We'll look into hardware tokens for you.

Cheers!

  ### 40. Easy to use with minimal configurations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde integration is very straightforward. Just copy paste from the docs and you'll have a working app in less than 5mins. Kind console UI is also simple and intuitive to navigate around.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

The React SDK does not have an out-of-the-box ProtectedRoute component and couldn't find a method in useKindeAuth() hook to get the refresh token.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to have authentication features in my app which gives me the flexibility to expand into MFA and other passwordless methods. I did not want to spend time in writing all the code myself so I used Kinde instead.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you! Glad it was easy to get set up.

This should help with the refresh tokens: https://kinde.com/docs/developer-tools/refresh-tokens/

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to support@kinde.com

  ### 41. Amazing customer support from a team who care about their product and their customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

During onboarding, the Kinde team offered an amazing amount of support. I didn't feel like I was just another ticket in the queue. They offered genuine/non-generic advice and code examples on how best to implement Kinde with my app. They followed up with me to make sure I was happily up and running.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

I found a couple of minor bugs in their PHP SDK, but after reporting them, their engineers jumped on fixing them and made sure to let me know when the fix was made available.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde handles all of our authentication requirements, including allowing us to offer our customers seamless enteprise SSO with MS Azure AD.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thank you for the kind words Mark.

Happy to hear you referencing support, given how important it is to us.

Excited to continue working with you in the future.

Connor.

**What do you like best about Kinde?**

Kinde helps me add authentication in my website easily. It has good Customer support too. Best part is it's easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Kinde?**

Not much downside, but I want it to be integrated with firebase, so that I can integrate both in my site easily.

**What problems is Kinde solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kinde is making it easy to add authentication in my website.

**Official Response from Connor Cameron:**

> Thanks Prasant!
