I love having a to do list for everything in one place. I love having my emails to do included. We have work for all those pesky repeating tasks.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

It can a little overwhelming to set up. But we set ours up gradually and have continued to improve and adjust as we go.

All my workflow is in one space, one list. The comments mean reduced emails between the team as well. We feel more organised and our productivity has improved immensely.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon is like the command center for our accounting firm, seamlessly bringing together all our communications, tasks, and client work in one place. The collaborative email and task management features are a game-changer, allowing our team to stay synchronized and maintain transparency on every project. The visibility into workflows and the ability to delegate tasks directly from emails has saved us countless hours. I also appreciate how customizable the templates are for client work—it’s made our processes more efficient and consistent across the board. Plus, the integration with other tools we use means less jumping between apps, which is always a win!

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

The biggest downside for us has been the lack of a native desktop app. While Karbon works well in a web browser, a dedicated desktop app could offer a more streamlined experience and better performance, especially for teams juggling multiple tools simultaneously. Additionally, the iOS mobile app is quite limited and doesn't provide the same level of functionality as the web version, making it challenging to manage tasks and communicate effectively while on the move. A more robust mobile experience and a native desktop app would greatly enhance usability and overall efficiency.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon has streamlined our entire workflow by centralizing communication, task management, and client collaboration in one platform. Before using Karbon, we struggled with scattered emails, misaligned tasks, and inefficient team coordination, which often led to delays and missed deadlines. With Karbon, we've achieved greater visibility into each team member's workload and the status of every client project. This clarity has not only boosted our productivity but also significantly reduced errors and miscommunications. The ability to delegate tasks directly from emails and automate recurring workflows has freed up our time, allowing us to focus on higher-value activities that drive growth.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

How user friendly it is. Most of its design is created in such a way that allows new users to navigate through all of the different features it offers. As someone who started a job and took over the management of Karbon it was very easy to implement its programing into my everyday schedule. I especially like that you can find whatever answer your work order you are looking for from many different paths.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Reaching someone in customer support is very difficult and once you do and tell them your problem you are informed that they are aware of the problem and will have it fixed shortly but have found that it can take months. I even brought an issue to them back in 2023 and was informed they were working on it and then as of last week that issue or change has not been implemented. I also dont like that the system does not automatically regocnize that there is already a contact in the system with the exact same name but under a different category and it allows duplicates to occur making tracking our clients that much harder as you cannot merge a business with a person profile.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to keep tabs on our clients through various different work types and track other employees clients as well when updates are needed. It also holds us accountable for our work and offers trackable communication through our multiple office locations.

Karbon really 'tames' my emails and helps me organize my tasks.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

There is not anything specific that I dislike about the software.  I have been using the software for now almost 5 years and I know I am not using it fully, but it makes my work life so much better to assist with assignments and tasks.

**Recommendations to others considering Karbon:**

Strongly recommend that you give Karbon a look.  I use it every day all day.  It is much better than Outlook for task management, email tracking.  I have just hired my first employee and it has been really helpful to make sure they know what work needs to be done.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Karbon, I was struggling with deadlines and making sure that all work was completed on time.  I was using Outlook calendar for tasks when I needed to use Outlook for meetings and something else for tasks.  Karbon resolved this issue with giving me a way to create due dates for my tasks outside of Outlook.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Before implementing Karbon we were struggling with knowing where our work was at, and what communication had transpired. Karbon has given us total transparency over our work and communications, with everything in one place and available for our whole team to see. Furthermore, we have documented processes for every task we undertake, so on-boarding of new team members is so much easier. Total game changer, and we simply wouldn't be without it!

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

The mobile app is a bit basic, and bugs out a lot of the time. It would also be handy to be able to allocate multiple triage items to the same contact simultaneously.

Transparency over work. Consistent approach to work. Visibility over all client communications.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon is a really cool tool that our office implemented about two years ago to use day in and day out. I love how you can manage workflow and tasks effectively and easily. It offers a lot of ways to personalize to best fit the needs of your team and your firm. One really cool feature that Karbon recently integrated to their platform is their summaries powered by Karbon AI. It is a really nice tool to go into an email or client to get a quick overview or refresher before diving into that email.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

There are two features which could use a little bit of an upgrade. The first one is their Assignments page. Currently, it's a little hard to assign and understand the "use" of that page. Secondly, the "Notes" in the My week. Having the notes a different color than the rest of the work items in Karbon can help it stand out.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon is providing a forward looking platform to help the dinosaur tech in the accounting industry. With its tools to manage workflow & upgrade the way we can interact and communicate with tax clients, has been game changing. The ability to integrate a tax questionnaire into our workflow, communicate internally with the team & externally with the client, leaves for a great trail and easier communication.

The planning and collaborative funcionality is helpful in managing all the day to day work. The ability to queue up tasks for action, whether they’re emails, notes, or work items, is incredibly helpful. Being able to assign these items to colleagues, chat with them, or just having visibility into what everyone is working on is super helpful.

The client request feature could use some improvement. It’s challenging to organize long lists effectively, which can sometimes feel overwhelming for clients.

Karbon's has completely transformed our ability to standardise workflows, creating efficiency between team and client, scheduling work in a consistent manner.  It is now covering all aspects of client interactions from onboarding, document collection and review and signoff.  Our clients love it and so do we! We use it every day and its a centric part of the business and one of the easiest to use and set up for new members of the team.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon has completely changed how our firm organizes work and client information and how we communicate. Triage is a far superior and more efficient way to sort through your emails and messages from coworkers. Timelines have provided a much improved way to organize information on our clients and keep everyone on the team informed on important client information. My Week is an amazing organizational tool to not get overloaded in work and organize what needs to be done when. The automation aspects of Karbon have saved us so much time. Additionally, Karbon is frequently updating with new features and is very responsive to suggestions and questions.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

As a new and emerging platform, there are some features of Karbon that are still being developed and improved, so I sometimes feel the growing pains of working in a platform under development.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency - improving work flow and dealing with a lot of little tasks that usually take up lots of time, like following up on emails and reallocating jobs to coworkers.
Organization - My Week makes organizing work and due dates a lot easier.
Information management - often client emails would get lost in team members' inboxes - the ability to attach emails to client and work timelines has made this a non-issue as we can easily sort client emails into places they can easily be found.

It has allowed us to truly see our firm as a whole and understand where we need to improve and what we are doing well.  It has helped us with process to get everyone on board.  Another thing that we have really enjoyed is the access to the team at Karbon,  Ian has been great and even got hands on in our onboarding, & our rep, Lexie is aways available for questions and support.

Nothing really - they continue to add new features - some arent relevant for us at this time but they always want to improve the product.

Allows us to organize our work in a way that we can monitor capacity and progress in real time.  The software is simple but very robust.  Dont need an IT Tech to use it

The triage makes it so easy for my staff to collaborate on emails and communicate actions needing to be taken. We also love the workflows and ability to include client requests into those seamlessly

Most of the things we have had some concerns about have either already been fixed, or are likely to without a lot of time passing so i can't think of anything right now.

We work off our emails a lot, but that causes issues when we can't see what our colleagues are working on. Karbon brings all of that together so we have more visibility.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

I enjoy Karbon as it can help me organise and plan my week and upcoming tasks. I am able to delegate people and assign users to different tasks very easily. I love being able to visualise and report from the data that we are able to see and work from it. The customer service and support from Karbon have been extremely helpful and I cannot thank them enough for not bombarding me with information. Triage is one of the most favourable features as I can create work items straight from email which I cannot use enough. I would use this if I could for personal use as I use it everyday.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Timesheets can be a time consuming in their own way. I am able to select work completed or something I have worked on. Small tasks and notes do show up but if I could reuse tasks or clients from previous weeks, that would be handy. The search is a little challenging and will not 100% pick up certain work that we have done but it could be a naming convention we use that does make it a challenge.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon has allowed us to view and monitor colleagues time management, implement a new software into our business to replace standard workflows. As we MS, we now want to use Karbon as it replaces Outlook and we can track and make work directly from emails and track emails from clients with ease too. This has definitely solved this issue for my workplace. Karbon also gives us budgeting and estimates which is extremely useful as this allows us to delegate and create time and see how much budget we have left over time, how to effectively make use of time and also being able to track conversations, adding notes and mentioning internally on tasks and emails.

Karbon is an exceptional system that helps keep everyone involved in client work organized and on track as long as it is used accurately and daily. It excels in allowing teams to create recurring pieces of work, each with specific tasks, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. One of its standout features is the ability to centralize all communication within the tasks themselves. This means that not only are the decisions recorded, but the reasons behind those decisions are also documented, making it easy to revisit and understand the context if needed.

Additionally, Karbon integrates seamlessly with email, allowing all communications with customers to be saved to contact and work timelines. This makes reviewing past actions straightforward and ensures a comprehensive record of interactions and decisions. Overall, Karbon is an indispensable tool for maintaining organization and clarity in client work, even for the most disorganized individuals.

Karbon's Client Task feature simplifies the process of requesting sensitive information from customers. This feature allows the team to assign specific tasks directly to clients, who can then securely provide the required information. By using Client Tasks, teams can streamline communication and ensure sensitive data is collected efficiently and safely, all within the organized framework of the Karbon system.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Accessing a team member's Triage when they are unexpectedly out can be challenging. This limitation can cause delays or bottlenecks in the workflow, as it is not always straightforward to retrieve the necessary information or tasks the absent team member was managing without accessing this. Enhancing this feature to allow administrators to delegate access to another team member's triage when needed would significantly improve overall efficiency and ensure smoother operations during unforeseen absences.

Karbon makes it possible for me to complete my responsibilities in an efficient fashion. I am able to collaborate in real time with team members and look up communications I may need to review to complete my day-to-day tasks in this system.

I love how Karbon has saved us a lot of time in the way we deal with emails in triage and being able to see timelines of emails for clients is so helpful and makes everyone's lives a lot easier.  In addition seeing what everyone in the firm is working on and its current status in a matter of seconds is phenomal for our firm!  even something as small as a feature like scheduling your emails I find great and you can set up emails to go out on days & times that suit you better.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

I'd honestly say there's not much I don't like, I don't use the "to do list much" perhaps that could be improved, but overall Karbon is top notch practice management software.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the templates in our jobs, we've been able to standardise a lot of our work now & document what we do.  This makes is much easier for our team to work through and for management to review jobs and get them completed quicker.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

I love the triage feature. It is so much better than using normal email, and it is easy to connect emails to work items that I don't need to work on now. That allows me to clear out my inbox quickly, and find the email when I need it. I love that my employees are able to be in there every day to make their jobs more efficient. It also doesn't take very long to train employees, which is great! Overall, I love Karbon and am glad we found it!

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Document -> Document Storage system would be amazing, but currently the system is just okay. I also find that triage, my week, and work items sometimes becomes pretty hectic as the owner who is in charge of lots of emails, lots of work items, and tracking my employee's items.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of having separate documents explaining each workflow, we can use Karbon to easily duplicate and edit work items when we get new clients. It also helps me move emails out of my inbox, but to a place where I can access the email when I need it later. It also allows multiple people to work on one work item without the need for constant email or text communication.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon makes it easy to have both a high level and in the weeds view of your assigned work and the work load of your department or colleauges. There are tools within the platform that help you have multiple big picture views of due, overdue, or planned work and allows you to organize that work based on when you want to get it done. We're able to communicate efficiently both internally and externally with the ability to email and @mention teammates on work items, so context and collaboration on kept with the specific client or work item. The implementation itself was very straightforward and it integrated seamlessly with our already operational Microsoft platforms (SharePoint/OneDrive & Outlook), but there is a lot of time invested on the front end to get the platform setup in a way that sets your team up for success. All work item templates have to be created according to your processes, but Karbon's customer support is TOP NOTCH and they assisted in that onboarding process every step of the way and long after onboarding was complete. We use this platform DAILY for ALL of our work flows, capacity planning, and even budget and revenue reporting. Within the work templates, you're able to make assignments to a specific team member, create automators that automatically notify a team member when they're up or change the status of a work item, send client requests with reminders and deadlines, connect to SharePoint and OneDrive so documents uploaded by clients are automatically stored to the right location, track time and budgets to keep your team on track, and so much more. We are SO pleased that we moved to Karbon as our all in one project management platform.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

In order to get the fullest out of your Karbon use, there is a lot of investment in the setup and maintenance of that setup to ensure work is tracked correctly, time and budgets are accurate, reporting is accurate, etc. You can totally get away with not spending the time to setup these minor details, but you'll miss out on the fullness of tracking and reporting that Karbon has to offer. Our team ended up discovering these details over time and have slowly invested the time necessary to ensure we get the most of our Karbon use. Additionally, although the billing platform in Karbon is great and can truly get the job done, our model and process resulted in still leveraging QBO and Ignition to bill our clients. It is barely an inconvenience as this system works better for our firm anyway. We also didn't find a lot of success in the Ignition - Karbon integration, so we input and reconcile our work items to service agreements manually. Lastly, many team members, particulary those on our technical teams, have expressed difficulty in mastering "My Week" which is the built in tool for organizing and planning your assigned work. I personally have not experienced this, I LOVE My Week and review it multiple times a day to plan out my tasks for the day, but it has been expressed by multiple team members that they have trouble leveraging My Week as it's intended.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon is truly an all in one practice management solution. It streamlines email management, project management, and work flow, automates mundane tasks that save our firm time, and provides necessary perspective capacity and budget information that would've needed to get dug up manually in the past. It integrates beautifully with Microsoft's email platform and document management so we truly have all we need in one place and it has greatly improved the ability to track client context and important situational nuances. It greatly improved the ease of client requests, especially during tax season, and has increased the rate at which we receive those requests back from clients, improving our overall efficiency.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon removes the need for spreadhseets and manual processes when chasing clients. It also allows you to create a roadmap of tasks to complete each item of work, which is measurable against time budgets. In each stage of the process, you can build in 'Client Requests' which enable easy interaction with the client on queries and approvals, with automated remiders to the client until the outstanding items are provided. Prior to adopting Karbon, we'd set up and used for a short period, a competitor's PM solution, but Karbon substatially outshines thier offering in almsot all areas. Karbon also has fantastic customer support, with an Account Manager always on hand to help with training and troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

I'd like to see the ability to send automated emails from Karbon, rather than just automated client requests, and also a greater range of placeholdings (links to wording/dates from the client file) which can be used in client communication. Also a backstop on the deadlines not to exceed the due date. Minor gumbles though, and with Karbon you always know they're constantly working on improvements, which are released reguarly.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon has become a core software for our business and provides the infaustructure to scale. With consistency of processes, which can be well structured in Karbon, it allows the team to know excatly what's expected of them.

Tools such as My Week and Work views allow easy navidation of work items to be compelted, and you can get some very useful business wide metrics on status of client work.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

As they continue to move the dial forward on AI, this will become more and more useful. My only gripe is Text edit ability in Triage, I find myself using Outlook still for drafting more detailed emails.

I like that we are able to customize the workflows for our particular processes and how custom everything is in Karbon. I have found our admin time is significantly reduced by really using it at it's full capacity

I would like to have Karbon connect with more apps with API end points for Zapier so the rest of the app tools we use can communicate automatically with eachother.

**Recommendations to others considering Karbon:**

You need to have your internal processes well documented, you also will need to devote significant time to building your workflows and getting the team trained up. It's well worth the effort, it just isn't a plug-and-play solution.

1. Triage - Replace Slack with Comments on Emails & Jobs
2. Work - Automations so client responses can change Statuses & Due Date (Checklist 1 = 14 days due date, Checklist 2 = 3 days due date)
3. Time & Billing - you can see which clients you haven't billed.
4. Integrations - integrate with Practice Ignition - create new jobs
5. Always looking to improve the product, not just add bloatware. 
Improve via AI email summaries, etc.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

It's a short list here (and by listing them I strongly suspect Karbon will have removed these issues within a year): 
1. Work Statuses - Planned, Ready to Start, Progress, Waiting and Completed are required Work Statuses and are both available statuses and "headers" for other statuses. 
2. Triage Low Priority - Triage doesn't work as well as Gmails Updates/Promotions.
You can mark each newsletter Low Priority - then future emails will go to Low Priority (to not clutter your triage), 
However you can only "Clear" emails in Bulk not Low Priority, and Low Priority is hard to get to .
3. Triage Keyboard Shortcuts - You can't simply move to next email after you've sent an email. 
4. Non-Chargable Matters - You currently can't create Non-Chargable Clients or Work Items (to charge Internal Matter time to) - as Karbon Timesheets default to the Last Milestone charged, then easy to put chargable time on Non-Chargable Matters.
5. Click to Bill - you can't currently create a Bill directly from a Work Item, or easily view all the WIP entries for a Client so that you can easily determine what to bill in one screen (you can easily export to Excel though).

Able to "Process/Clear" emails - so that All team can view in Thread what is going on for the job and the client.

Karbon's email triage is the best out there. To be able to assign an email to a client timeline at the click of a button or create a work task that was requested via email saves time and keeps tasks from falling through the cracks. Customer support is fantastic too!

I wish I could see my full calendar in Karbon. I open Outlook just to have my calendar up. I handle all of my email from within Karbon.

I am in the process of switching my billing from Intuit to Karbon. Numerous breakdowns in Intuit matching payments/deposits to the correct invoices sent me searching for another solution. Karbon has built in billing for no added fee.

Karbon keeps our firm organized and more efficient. Karbon has greatly reduced our e-mail traffic and provides so much visibility into what is going on across the firm. We are proud to let our clients know that we use Karbon and impress them with the client request lists from Karbon. We invest in the annual support package and have received great assistance from Ernesto Beltran, our customer success manager. He helped us roll out our standard month end close template firm-wide other things.

The integration with Quickbooks Time has resulted in duplicates in Quickbooks Time, but that has been our only difficulty with Karbon.

Karbon allows me to stay on top of all my tasks in an easy and efficient manner. I use Karbon all day to organize and prioritize my work. Customer support is wonderful and on top of answering questions. Karbon is easy to learn and it's many features make working through multiple companies seamless.

There are only a couple of small things that I would love to see implemented to make my experience with Karbon flow easier. But there isn't anything that would keep me from recommending this to other bookkeeping firms.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

My favorite feature about Karbon is the email traige and transparency. Being able to have internal communication about emails and allow other team members to see emails without having to reply/forward has improved transparency and customer service across the firm. Fewer emails fall through the cracks and the team can support each other better.

Being able to assign emails to work items also speeds up managing email so we're able to set an email in a place we know it won't get forgotten when we go to complete a specific work item. This also allows us to deal quickly with email and then break our work into intentional checks - a major productivity improvement.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

I only have two minor issues with Karbon. The work items and tasks are all designed to operate in a linear fashion and sometimes work does not happen in a linear form, so the automators don't function properly if you complete tasks out of order. I'll admit, though, I don't have a better way to design the software and can work around this minor inconvenience.

The shared triage can't yet handle a shared mailbox from Microsoft or Google without its own user subscription which increases the cost to use that function.

Karbon gives me transparency into the quality of communication between team members and clients. I can also track the status of work and ensure all work is proceeding forward without roadblocks. Finally, I'm able to monitor team member capacity to ensure a healthy workload for each team member.

The thing I like best about Karbon is its ability to simplify my inbox. Tagging emails to projects/recurring work makes it easier to stay on top of actionable emails, I can communicate internally with my team without a risk of a client seeing our correspondence, and I can see a paper trail of all action taken on an email. 

Additionally, the time-tracking feature helps me determine how profitable our services were in a given work period, and where we may have spent time unnecessarily.

It has also significantly shortened our prospect-to-sale process and helped us automate other recurring work and document or internal processes.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

If I'm looking for a specific email, but it hasn't been tagged to a customer or piece of work, it can sometimes be more difficult to track it down in karbon than it is to track it down in Gmail.

Karbon solves the problem of knowing what emails to take action on, and which aren't essential, without an endless list of folders in my inbox.

The number of features is amazing. Karbon is the complete start to finish work flow manager allowing business owners to step away from the tools while keeping an eye on what is required for clients work to be completed, and what staff are working on. 

Email triage is awesome to get rid of the clutter, and to assign emails to staff members.

Recurring work items allows us to never miss a deadline, and to allow us to predict staff shortages in times of high compliance. We can also bring forward due dates reflecting on staff members' work day, allowing smoothing of workload.

Checking on employee work load and reassigning work to staff during absenses.

Love love love having all emails for a client/or work in one place, visible to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Searching emails is a bit hit and miss.

I think it would be great if a client could be hidden from other staff members for privacy reasons, if required.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to save all emails in a clients file, along with their documentation is a real time save.

We are a small practice just getting started and I love how complete the system is. We can do everything from email, create work, manage documents, track time & keep detailed client notes and information. I like to use as few softwares as possible and Karbon takes care of everything practice related. Our internal team doesn't need to switch between apps.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

The only downsides I would say for right now:

1. It takes quite a bit of time to set up if you are starting from scratch. We started service in September and I expect we won't be ready to use the service fully until 1st of the new year. 

2. It is a bit complex to see what work is due, but I imagine once we practice  and get comfortable through out this year we will have it figured out by January. 

In the long run, the time we're investing in the set up will be worth it next year.

Managing multiple client inboxes - Triage is cuting down on need to login to different service providers. 
Delegating - Karbon is making it very easy for me to share work with team and keep up on the status

It is the solution that you've been waiting for when you've thought "There's got to be a better way..." when it comes to dealing with client communication in general and the documentation thereof. Huge timesaver, well worth the cost.

I would like if there was a better view to see everything going on in terms of open projects. You can see them all, but I'd like it to be more condensed so I can see it at a glance. Full disclosure, maybe there is a good way to do this, I just haven't figured it out yet if so.

What I appreciate most about Karbon is its balance between flexibility and structure. It's a comprehensive tool that adapts to how you want to work, making it an invaluable asset for our practice.

There isn't anything I particularly dislike about Karbon, but I would note that it requires a significant time investment, especially for teams transitioning from an in-house system like ours. Since we didn't have a similar system before, implementing Karbon wasn't just about setting up the software; it involved rethinking and standardising our entire workflow, as well as creating or updating our process documentation. While this is a substantial task, it's something the software naturally prompts you to do to ensure successful implementation. Although it's a big job, I believe the effort is entirely worthwhile.

The best part, in my opinion, is the use of shared triage, in order to delegate emails in a shared inbox to different team members. The implementation was easy, once a member of Karbon helped us along the process, we also have frequent calls in order to guide us along. In order to use well, we would use Karbon everyday.

I'm not a massive fan on the timesheets functionality, as it seems to be very time consuming, and not work too well on how we as a business operate.

Their support are excellent at responding to queries and efficient and helpful when needed. Karbon allows you to collaborate effectively across your team and within the business as a whole via the use of notes, comments and assignments. The client experience is improved by our ability to stay on top of our communication and deadlines.
The automation side is fantastic at reducing our time spent chasing clients for regular information and the systematic workflows ensure a consistent service across the board, regardless of who is carrying it out.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Some further work done by Karbon on insights and reporting extraction from the software would be useful, though the current ones can be used to get most information we need. I would like to see some alternative views for information, such as a contact "list" that allows you to quickly scan for phone numbers and emails of key contacts, specifically one that can be filtered by who works on the client.

Karbon improves our efficiency in everything we do, meaning our client experience is streamlined and more consistent. It allows us to train/upskill staff quicker when onboarding them and we have real collaboration across the teams, making communication much simpler whilst working remotely.

I find that Karbon is most useful because I can put my tasks into categories and assign them due dates in those categories. It was really easy to learn when I started and we use it a lot in my position.

I don't like that sometimes the descriptions for jobs are confusing or not needed so I am just signing off on things to move them to the next person. I also don't like that my email is integrated into it. I think that it makes my triage confusing.

We've been using Karbon for several years, and are quite happy with the real working relationship we have with the Karbon team.  We work with alot of software vendors in the accounting space, and I would say this is one of our strongest relationships.  We have an awesome customer relationship manager in Sara!  The software has changed our practice.  We have tripled in size, since implementing Karbon practice management.  The new AI features are giving us an edge over the competition.  Karbon keeps on adding features and we are thrilled with the product.   I recommend taking their white glove onboarding and let them get you set up, it is so worth it.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

No complaints with this product,  Karbon is robust, and I would not run my practice with anything else.  I must have tried about 6 different practice management products, before Karbon, but the others were simply no competition.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lately, Karbon is helping me in new ways, such as the AI feature that prepares e-mails and adjusts the tone.  It also creates summaries of legnthy e-mail chains.

We continue to be very happy with Karbon. The software is consistently being improved and modified with new features, which enhances our user experience and productivity.

One of the most notable recent updates is the ability to manage multiple email addresses within one account. Whilst it does come with an additional cost, it shows us that the developers are listening to what end users are wanting within the app. The convenience it provides is well worth the investment.

We still face one limitation: the inability to mark emails as urgent or high priority. We hope this feature will be included in future updates to further streamline our communication processes.

Overall, Karbon remains a reliable and innovative tool that meets our needs and continues to evolve.

I love that it's a true web platform, easy on the eyes design, and developed by a team of people that care about their clients.  
We love being able to quickly build work and tasks that can then be assigned to the team.  The @mention capability is phenomenal and drastically reduces inter-office email.  Tracking clients and emails to work items is huge for team collaboration and the budget/time capability is really really powerful.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Right now, my one dislike that Triage is the main landing page.  When doing deep focused work, that sometimes requires items from Karbon, it's hard to stay focused when you land on Triage - you can't unsee what's in there lol and it can pull you out of the deep focus.  Landing on My Week would be so unbelievably awesome!

It benefits our firm by providing a platform to have all of our client information, communication and project tracking in one place. It takes away the unkown of if somebody contacted a client and where their project is currently at.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon is wonderful, it saves so much time as you dont have to follow up with your clients and things dont get forgotten or slip through the cracks. You can create work, link that work to your clients and then as emails come in with mulitple relevant items you can attach it to that specific work item or client. It saves so much time and frustration not having to search through a thousand emails to find five pieces of work for a single client. Karbon has definitely saved me alot if time and stress. I use Karbon everyday as it plans my week based on the urgency and deadlines, it also means that when I leave the office I can rest eas knowing that everything will be there when I come the next day with nothing forgotten. Karbon integrates with the standard important softwares, such a Microsoft and Dropbox. I have only used support once and they were very attentive and assisted me easily.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

There is a steep learning curve. The setup takes some time and is worth getting assistance with if you have a very large practice. That being said any practive management software will take a large amount of time to setup so it is really worth taking the time to demo and try out to find the right one for your needs.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing my time, making sure that nothing is forgotten, following up with clients automatically saving me the time and hassle of doing it myself.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

There are multiple things to love about  Karbon, but the best things are the un-siloed client communication and the ability to document playbooks efficiently so others can cover clients and transitions are incredibly smooth. I am in this platform daily and it serves as my office in a fully remote firm.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

It can take a while to set up correctly, but the team at Karbon is amazing when it comes to helping set these up and getting best practices going with your firm.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon solves time tracking, training/documentation, communication, and month-end close in one platform. Karbon is evolving to help streamline efficient communication with clients and making sure the 'ball' never gets dropped.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

I use Karbon daily and I honestly love it. It has everything you need to run your workflow smoothly,  in one place. I really think Karbon is a valuable tool in an accouting firm, it streamlines our operations and allows us to stay on track with our workload.

I love emails being in one place at that you can add them to client timelines, no more time wasted searching for emails in an ever growing inbox!  

Customer support have always been great when I have ever needed anything.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

I am not 100% on the new layout of Karbon. I wouldn't say it is a dislike, but I am still getting used to it after using the previous version for so long.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time! The task automomatic and templates have saved us so much time. We know what we have to do and when it has to be done. As also mentioned previously it saves time when looking for emails, it is a lot cleaner than using an email account and having hundreds of folders to try and keep your emails tidy.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Karbon is a user-friendly tool, and it did not take long to implement into my process. I really like the layout of tasks, and how you can see their progress at a glance. The 'my week' feature is especially helpful for planning ahead. The mailbox inegration is extremely helpful as everything is in one place, and you can attach emails to tasks which enables you to easily find the information needed for a task. I use Karbon all the time, and if ever I have a query, the support representative is more than happy to help. Karbon is a well-rounded tool and I have found that my organisation has improved significantly, since using it.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

I cannot think of a downside to Karbon! If ever I have struggled with it, I have received prompt support. The Karbon team are very open to receiving feedback.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon enables all of my tasks to be in one place, and easily trackable. It simplifies the process of planning, thus saving a lot of time. It has made it significantly easier to request information from clients; the email templates which automatically inputs the client's name is extremely timesaving and takes a step out of the usual process. The use of Karbon has streamlined this process entirely. The note feature has imporved communication within the team as it is much quicker to send notes than it is emails.
