# Using Karbon for client records and job tracking

Karbon has been very user-friendly for everyday use, even without training. It makes it easy to keep tabs on client records and work in progress, find conversation trails, and locate documents sent to and from clients. The biggest benefit has been going paperless, saving time, and quickly recording time spent and conversations while seeing what stage a job is at. For those using it, do you feel like the capabilities are more than you need, or have you found ways to keep it simple?

I’ve found it easy to keep things simple because it feels modern and being web based makes it accessible day to day. That said, there are a lot of features our firm doesn’t use right now, and the extra options can create UI clutter. I also wish I could choose a different landing page at login, like starting in Work instead of Triage. Overall it’s been helpful for concise, up-to-date, uniform workflow tracking.
