## Joule Reviews
 ### 1. Clean, Intuitive, and Reliable—Joule Delivers Real Workflow Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed A. | Key Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

The interface is clean and intuitive, making onboarding quick and effortless. It integrates seamlessly with the tools you already use, fitting naturally into your workflow rather than disrupting it.

Performance is reliable and consistent, pricing is transparent, and the return on investment becomes evident fairly quickly. The support team is responsive and helpful whenever assistance is needed, which adds significant value to the overall experience.

The predictive insights and task automation genuinely improve day-to-day decision-making by streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
Overall, it's a well-rounded solution that delivers on its promises and provides real value for teams looking to work smarter and more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Joule is generally easy to use, but some advanced features could be more intuitive. Additional customization options, broader third-party integrations, and more detailed documentation would improve the overall experience. Performance is good overall, though complex tasks can occasionally take longer than expected.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps streamline day-to-day work by automating repetitive tasks, providing predictive insights, and making information easier to access. Instead of spending time on manual processes or searching across multiple systems, I can make faster, more informed decisions with the right data at the right time. This improves productivity, reduces errors, and allows me to focus on higher-value work. Overall, it saves time, increases operational efficiency, and supports better business outcomes.

 ### 2. Joule Streamlines SAP Workflows with Fast, AI-Powered Assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abderrahmane Mohamed N. | graphic designer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like how Joule helps users complete tasks more quickly by offering AI-powered assistance directly inside SAP applications. It streamlines workflows, saves time, and makes business data easier to access through natural-language conversations.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One area where Joule could improve is offering greater flexibility and customization to better fit different user workflows. Like many AI assistants, it can occasionally provide responses that still need to be verified, and its overall effectiveness depends heavily on the quality and availability of the underlying data. As the platform continues to evolve, I expect these aspects to improve over time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps address the challenge of navigating complex business processes and locating information spread across multiple systems. By letting users interact with SAP applications through natural language, it cuts down the time spent searching for data, handling routine tasks, and pulling together insights. For me, this translates into better productivity, quicker decision-making, and more time to focus on higher-value work instead of administrative overhead.

 ### 3. Joule Simplifies Daily Workflows Helps You Get AnswerJImprove Daily Workflow Efficiencys Faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar Humberto G. | consultor Fortinet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like best about Joule is how it helps simplify daily workflows by bringing useful information and assistance into one place. It makes it easier to get answers faster, stay organized, and focus on the work that matters instead of spending extra time searching or switching between tools.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

What I dislike about Joule is that sometimes the responses can feel too general and may still require additional clarification or manual review before taking action. I think it would be even better if it could provide more specific, context-aware recommendations based on the exact workflow or system being used.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule is helping solve the problem of spending too much time searching for information, switching between systems, and figuring out the next step in a process. It helps provide faster answers, summarizes information, and supports decision-making in daily workflows.

The main benefit is that it saves time, reduces manual effort, and allows me to focus more on higher-value work instead of repetitive tasks or administrative steps.

 ### 4. Game-Changing in SAP, but Setup and Flexibility Can Be a Hurdle

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav M. | Associate Software Engineer, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule is a real game-changer for SAP development. It genuinely understands the business context—it feels like a teammate who knows S/4HANA and Digital Manufacturing inside and out. Because it’s embedded in Fiori, I’m not constantly switching tabs, and navigating UI5 apps becomes much smoother. Overall, it keeps my workflow far cleaner and takes care of the tedious data-hunting for me.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Setting up Joule is honestly a headache—BTP permissions and IAS sync issues feel like a part-time job. While it's a genius with SAP data, it can feel a bit "stiff" and restricted when you’re doing creative coding or React work. It lives in its own SAP bubble, which is great until you need to step outside of it!

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule kills the constant "tab-switching" fatigue. It’s like having a senior dev in my pocket who knows every SAP table by heart. It explains messy legacy code in seconds and handles boring unit tests, so I can actually focus on the fun logic building. It’s basically a shortcut past the enterprise "busy work"!

 ### 5. Agentic Power in SAP, Simplistic and Swift

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leif A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I find Joule particularly helpful because it provides Agentic power within the SAP ecosystem. The Agentic workflows are extremely beneficial for my tasks. I like Joule's simplistic design and ease of use, especially due to its natural language capabilities. It excels in making information gathering and quality reviews much quicker, which saves me a lot of time, particularly when understanding SAP features or configurations. I also enjoy that Joule for consultants allows me to reduce the time spent on these activities significantly by providing a convenient chat interface.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I would like to control much more as an admin, so that I can configure the retention of the messages (maybe even on user level) and also I would like to personalize it with behavior and structure of the text, and with memories, so that I don't need to start over every time. The setup was a bit tricky, especially getting the BTP setup done and assigning the AI Quota, which caused us to lose some time. Additionally, the enterprise acceptance takes time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to get agentic power inside the SAP ecosystem, which speeds up information gathering and quality reviews, cutting down time spent on these activities by allowing me to quickly understand SAP features.

 ### 6. Joule Supercharges SAP Productivity with Smooth Conversational Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nivas S. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule does a great job of speeding up the whole SAP SDLC process and improves productivity by saving time on tedious work.

One team automated their manual journal posting and reconciliation process entirely, and the automation of PR-to-PO approvals saved an average of 70 hours of manual work per week.

Joule offers a smooth conversational way to interact with SAP systems, and its ability to pull insights from multiple SAP applications adds real value.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Joule Studio still feels a bit early-stage. Some features are already in place, but they don’t feel fully mature yet, and I occasionally run into walls where something seems like it should be possible, but it just isn’t quite there.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule cuts down on busywork by automating repetitive approvals, generating reports, and handling data lookups across SAP systems. The biggest benefit is the time it saves—teams can spend more energy on strategic work instead of getting stuck on manual tasks.

 ### 7. Joule: Efficient Configuration Aid with Some Setup Hurdles

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ram b. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I appreciate Joule's better UI and how it answers most of the queries. It's like a chatbot and is easy to use, with responses tailored to the requirements. Unlike in the past where I needed to go through SAP learning, Google search, and other online sources to get the answers, Joule is a one-stop shop. It really helps as a consultant by reducing the configuration and build time and assisting our FA to better review the configuration.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

We're facing some challenges in activating Joule for Ariba, but we're working with SAP to fix this. Also, I've found that the initial setup isn't an easy one. We're waiting to move to RISE since Joule only works once on RISE.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps our FA better review configurations and reduces build time. It has a better UI and satisfactorily answers most queries. It's like a chatbot, easy to use, with tailored responses without the need to search through learning materials or online sources.

 ### 8. Promising Potential, But Difficult Implementation

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I would like to share my experience with Joule 2, which came to renew the user experience. It greatly facilitates the development of applications and agents within the ERP. I firmly believe it will be a revolution in the way applications are developed and will greatly improve users' expectations regarding business processes.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Joule 1 does not meet user expectations, especially in understanding business concepts and formatting more accurate responses. It fails to answer most questions in the financial and SD areas, which frustrates users. The implementation of Joule was not easy and took 2 to 3 weeks, with problems during the process.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to renew the user experience and facilitate the development of applications and agents within the ERP. With Joule 2, I expect a revolution in the way applications are developed, improving users' expectations regarding AI.

 ### 9. Joule Helps Solve Business-Critical Problems and Drive Smarter Decisions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vinod p. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

To help industries stay on top of innovation, Joule has made a commendable entry into AI. It genuinely seems to be helping solve business-critical problems across supply chain, logistics, and customer service. Overall, it supports more informed and consistent decisions and recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

With SAP Joule, we are already breaking many barriers. If the interface were kept more user-friendly and easy to use, it would be even better, and we could add a few enhancements as well. While Joule provides good, well-organized functionality, it still seems to be missing support for situations that require complex, multi-step reasoning and deeper technical design decisions.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead-to-cash time and order cycle times are the most popular focus areas in my industry, and Joule is really helping solve those problems. We’re also looking to use Joule for more realistic use cases where we can get real-time issue tracking and resolution for various EDIs and IDOCs coming into the system.

 ### 10. Joule Makes SAP Everyday Work Seamlessly Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balazs N. | Group Head of SAP , Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Simplifies the interaction between employee and ERP System to a never seen level, it makes everyday work seamlessly easy. The newest functionalities and capabilities of Joule realy enable SAP to thrive towards the autonomous enterprise.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

The worst thing about Joule is that you cannot find it still everywhere in the system. As soon as you start to use it and get used to it, you will immediatelly notice where it is not available and you will miss it genuinely.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule is solving not one problem, it creates other benefits. Joule makes working completely different. You do not need to remember Transactions or Fiori applications, you do not always need to know what is next step. or how to proceed with something. If you use Joule you work on a complete different level and with a completely new efficiency.

 ### 11. Powerful for Analytics with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** xin l. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like how Joule allows users to interact with data models and obtain insights, which helps in asking the right questions to further drill down. It's similar to what SAP has in its various modules, serving as a great entrance. Also, users can tailor their questions based on the insights they wish to obtain, drilling down into specific data models and obtaining documentation for proof.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I don't probably like Joule because it requires more customization and integration when it comes as a vanilla agent. You can't directly use it out of the box as it always requires some adaptation to fit the particular business.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps us build analytics and insights on top of existing data models. It allows interaction with data models, letting users tailor questions to obtain and drill down insights, providing a great entrance similar to SAP modules.

 ### 12. Joule: Streamlining Insights and Boosting Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharamveer p. | Application Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like best about Joule is how it fits naturally into my workflow. It provides quick, context-aware insights and recommendations without interrupting what I’m doing. Instead of hunting through multiple tools or reports, I can get the information I need right when I need it, which saves time and helps me make decisions faster.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

What I dislike about Joule is that sometimes the suggestions or insights can feel a bit generic, especially for more complex or nuanced tasks. It’s helpful most of the time, but for deeper analysis, I still need to double-check or refine the results manually. Additionally, new users might find it takes a little time to understand how to get the most value out of it.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule solves the problem of spending too much time searching for information, analyzing data, or switching between multiple tools to get answers. By providing quick, context-aware insights directly in my workflow, it reduces manual effort and helps me make decisions faster. This improves productivity, saves time on routine tasks, and allows me to focus more on strategic work rather than data gathering.

 ### 13. Joule Makes Complex Tasks Simple and Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** N S. | SEO Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like Joule because it makes complex tasks feel simple and more manageable. It helps users find information quickly, which saves time and supports better productivity by using AI in a practical, everyday way.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One thing I dislike about Joule is that its AI-generated responses can occasionally require human verification. Also, new users may need some time to fully understand the tool and make the most of all its features.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps solve the problem of spending too much time searching for information and handling repetitive tasks. It benefits me by giving quick answers, boosting my productivity, and letting me stay focused on more important work.

 ### 14. Automatic SAP Integration That Simplifies Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

The automatic integration with SAP infrastructure and integration with the native tools. Specifically IBP and S4, without having to export data to a spreadsheet and then import back into AI model.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

The setup is extremely touchy and the documentation isn't the best on how to integrate Joule with multiple different SAP platforms at once. For example, integrating with IBP and S4, the setup within BTP and IAS for the different authorization methods is complex

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule is being utilized to integrate into IBP and analyze data automatically without having to export from excel and make your own analysis. Not having to export data to analyze is where the immediate benefit can be seen.

 ### 15. Joule studio 2.0 review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subrote M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule studio 2.0 which gives power to business super users to start agentic AI journey where intent comes first.
The fact that Business AI now had BDC, signavio, business models and knowledge graph providing the context - means agents build would be much more powerful.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

During the hands on sessions, many a times we found errors during agent, BDC data product or CAP application creation. Seems the underlying tech is not yet ready although the direction is positive

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Build AI agents for BPO operations which has a measurable financial and effieicieny impact.
However as a product Joule is directionally strong but doesn’t seem ready yet.

 ### 16. Seamless SAP Integration and Collaborative Agents That Automate Finance Tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule's seamless integration into our SAP landscape stands out — it understands our finance context natively, and the new collaborative agents announced at Sapphire automate cross-module tasks that previously required manual handoffs. Implementation is very hard, even with direct support from SAP if alraedy other implementations are available on BTP.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Coverage is still uneven across the SAP suite — some modules feel mature while others lag, and the AI unit consumption model makes it hard to predict costs at scale. Custom agent extensibility via Joule Studio also still feels early for enterprise rollout.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule reduces the friction of navigating a complex SAP finance landscape — instead of jumping between transactions and reports, our team gets answers and actions in natural language. That accelerates month-end analysis, lowers the training burden, and frees architects to focus on design rather than tool mechanics.

 ### 17. Streamlined Data Workflows with Automation and Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaithanya D. | Data & Tech

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I use Joule primarily to streamline data workflows and generate insights quickly. It’s incredibly helpful for analyzing large datasets, automating repetitive tasks, and getting actionable recommendations without spending hours manually digging through data. The interface is intuitive, and I love how it integrates smoothly with existing tools I use daily. What I like most about Joule is how effortlessly it turns complex data into clear, actionable insights. The automation features save me a lot of time, and the recommendations it provides are usually spot-on. The automation features in Joule handle repetitive tasks like data cleaning, aggregation, and report generation, which lets me focus on analysis and decision-making instead of manual work. The intuitive interface makes exploring datasets and visualizing results really straightforward, even for complex queries. It integrates smoothly with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL databases, enhancing my workflow and keeping everything organized. Joule centralizes our data, automates repetitive tasks, and provides insights much faster. The initial setup was surprisingly straightforward, with onboarding guides and prompts that made it easy to connect our data sources and get started quickly.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Handling extremely large datasets can feel a bit slow, and a few advanced features aren’t as intuitive at first, requiring some trial and error. It would be great if there were more in-app guidance or tutorials for those features.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to streamline data workflows, automate tasks, and analyze large datasets quickly. It integrates with my tools and enhances productivity and decision-making by providing actionable insights with ease.

 ### 18. Intuitive, Fast, and Powerful—Joule Feels Like a Trusted Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rekha S. | content creator on social media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like most about Joule is how intuitive and human it feels, while still being incredibly powerful. It makes complex tasks easier, provides clear and actionable insights, and fits naturally into my daily workflow without ever feeling overwhelming. The responses are fast, relevant, and context-aware, which genuinely saves me time and helps me stay productive. Overall, Joule feels less like a tool and more like a smart, reliable partner I can trust to get things done efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One thing I dislike about Joule is that it can occasionally feel limited when it comes to very niche or highly customized use cases. Sometimes the responses still need a bit of manual refinement to align perfectly with a specific business context. I’d also like to see deeper personalization and more flexibility for fine-tuning outputs, which would make the overall experience even stronger. That said, these feel like relatively minor gaps compared to the overall value Joule provides.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps me cut through information overload by quickly turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. It saves me time, accelerates decision-making, and allows me to focus on higher-value work rather than getting stuck in manual analysis.

 ### 19. Application SME

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

It provides employees with easy access to start processes, such as requesting time off or giving feedback to colleagues. I also appreciate the simplified navigation, which makes it quicker to find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Implementing something a bit more advanced requires a lot of work. For example, creating policies that Joule can understand takes real effort and careful setup. I also feel the example SAP uses in their demos (the typical question about a leave request) is weak. It’s not that common in practice, and it doesn’t feel like a big improvement compared with a well-designed FAQ.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to features that are otherwise “spread” across the tool. Employees can ask Joule instead of having to navigate through different SuccessFactors modules. It also feels like a 24-hour open door to HR.

 ### 20. Enhances SCM and Order Management with AI, Needs Industry-Specific Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like using Joule for business AI solutions, particularly appreciating the Joule Agents in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Order Management. These features really help reduce manual efforts and optimize costs, which is essential for my work.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think Joule could be more industry-specific and client-specific. Whatever SAP mentioned as part of the promo last year, it did not meet client expectations. It needs to understand client requirements better and tackle problems directly, rather than providing generic SAP solutions.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps with cost optimization and reduces manual efforts, especially through Joule Agents in SCM and Order Management.

 ### 21. Intuitive Interface, Rapid SAP Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bonnie T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like that Joule is easy to use, it's like a prompt that makes tasks simpler. It helps me interface with my SAP SuccessFactors system more efficiently by speeding up access to what I need, rather than having to navigate a cumbersome system. I appreciate that Joule knows me and my role, making the experience more personalized. The initial setup was easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Creating workflows and agents isn't as easy as it might seem

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule makes it faster for me to access what I need by navigating my SAP SuccessFactors system with ease.

 ### 22. Great Task Automation and Natural Language Insights—As Good as Your Data

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Firdavs S. | Owner/Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Its ability to automate daily tasks and natural language insights are also what I like most about Joule. But the fact that it works diectly inside SAP apps instead of as a separate tool is also great

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One thing that is negative I can say abt Joule is that its quality depends on the quality of data. The quality of its help may be inconsistent or incomplete at times.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me and my team turn SAP business data of our company into something that you can take action one and automates a bunch of stuff for us. That's what it helps us with.

 ### 23. Great SAP Knowledge Access, Needs Improvement for Large Document Processing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Husein K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I really like the access to SAP specific knowledge with Joule. It significantly helps me develop fast and write better functional specifications. Additionally, it aids me in navigating through the system more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Sometimes when I pass bigger documents for it to analyze, it fails. I wanted to be able to process documents that I upload or even multiple documents, and not fail. The initial setup was very complex, and it took a long time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps me develop fast, write better functional specifications, and navigate the system more efficiently.

 ### 24. Efficient for Migration, Needs Smoother Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filipe M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I appreciate that Joule accelerates the processes of analysis and onboarding of new colleagues. I like its context awareness, which involves knowing the SAP landscape and understanding the logic behind it.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think the initial setup and enablement of Joule could be faster and more seamless. It's difficult and time-consuming to activate and implement, and the integration should be more seamless from roles and authorizations.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule for mapping and configuration for systems migration, which accelerates analysis processes and onboarding new colleagues.

 ### 25. Intuitive Interface, Hassle-Free Data Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like Joule for its easy-to-understand interface, which isn't very complex. Plus, the initial setup of Joule was pretty easy.

The initial setup of Joule was quite easy since there is AI assistance available. We did not have much problem.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think if something goes wrong, then it gives the same wrong output every time, whereas it should be revolutionary and it should get updated response every time. That is one part that I don't like.

 ### 35. Streamlines SAP Tasks, But Needs Smarter, More Detailed Responses

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Engineer II in Test, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule really streamlines my workflow by reducing the need to switch between the various SAP apps I use every day. Rather than opening S/4 screens, checking Concur, or searching through MBC messages, I can simply ask Joule, and it quickly gathers the information I need. The conversational interface makes it extremely easy to use, and the integration is seamless since it already understands the SAP applications I work with. I find myself using it frequently for quick answers or summaries, which helps save time, especially on busy days. While it’s still expanding its features, what’s available right now is genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

At times, the answers seem a bit generic when I’m hoping for more specific information from the system. While it does retrieve the necessary info, it sometimes overlooks minor details, which means I often have to double-check in the actual SAP app. Since it’s still a relatively new tool, not all features or workflows are supported yet, so occasionally it just responds that it can’t handle a particular request. Overall, it’s helpful, but there’s certainly room for improvement in terms of intelligence and consistency.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool addresses the hassle of searching through various SAP applications just to locate small bits of information. Rather than having to open S/4 for one task, Concur for another, and then check MBC for payment or bank updates, I can simply ask Joule, which consolidates everything in one place. This saves me a significant amount of time, especially on busy days when I only need a quick summary or status update. It also reduces the number of clicks and screens I usually have to navigate, making my entire workflow noticeably smoother.

 ### 36. Streamlined SAP Operations, But Needs Better Contextual Understanding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I appreciate Joule's consistent interface across different SAP products and applications, which makes it very straightforward to use and interact with. This consistency provides a cohesive feel, which I find particularly valuable in the SAP environment. I also like that it effectively automates some tasks across SAP applications and helps point out different features that I might not be familiar with. This functionality is especially useful because it eliminates the necessity to go through extensive documentation, making my workflow more efficient. Additionally, the initial setup of Joule was extremely straightforward and user-friendly, enhancing my overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I find that Joule could improve its ability to deliver more detailed and context-specific answers, especially when handling technical or complex queries. Its current limitations in fully understanding user intent across diverse business scenarios can be frustrating. I believe that better tailored recommendations would increase its effectiveness significantly. Furthermore, the support for integrating with non-SAP applications is limited, which could be restricting for users who rely on a variety of software. Occasionally, Joule provides generic responses that do not sufficiently address the user's needs, which detracts from the overall user experience.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to automate SAP routines, gaining instant insights and streamlining tasks like report generation and order creation. It speeds up my workflow, allowing focus on strategic decisions, and provides a consistent user interface across SAP applications.

 ### 40. Joule: The Ultimate AI Copilot for Seamless Teamwork

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rutik M. | Security Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule is an AI copilot that genuinely improves teamwork. It assists workers across all of their cloud apps by directing them, predicting requirements, and handling complicated tasks automatically. It is built on an organization's own business data and supplemented with strong AI agents.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Even though Joule isn't flawless, people still value it. Although it occasionally misses context, for the majority of teams, it actually lowers mundane work and speeds up activities.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule is addressing several long-standing challenges that come from working across multiple systems, handling repetitive tasks, and constantly searching for the right data. One major problem it solves is the fragmentation of information. Normally, data sits in different applications, and finding the right insight requires switching between tools, running manual reports, or asking multiple teams. Joule brings all of that together by connecting SAP and third-party systems, delivering relevant information instantly and in context.

It also reduces the burden of routine, time-consuming tasks. Things like updating records, generating reports, or completing multi-step workflows can take a lot of manual effort. Joule automates these actions through simple natural-language requests, helping teams move faster with fewer errors.

Another key benefit is decision-making support. Instead of digging through dashboards, Joule provides quick, data-driven insights right when they’re needed. This leads to faster responses, clearer understanding, and more confident decisions.

Overall, Joule helps streamline daily work, reduces operational friction, and empowers people to focus on higher-value tasks rather than getting stuck in busy work.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Limited capabilities at launch — Early versions were less flexible than other general-purpose AI assistants.

Strong dependency on SAP ecosystem — It’s powerful only if a company is deep into SAP; outside that, it’s far less useful.

Steep learning curve for admins — Configuring it to access the right business data securely can be complex.

Cost concerns — Some users feel it’s another expensive SAP add-on.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigating complex business systems & data

Joule gives users a unified conversational interface across SAP applications and business data.

Rather than clicking through many menus in e.g. HR, finance, supply-chain modules, you can ask “What is the status of invoice X?” or “What open purchase orders do we have for supplier Y?”

This helps reduce the time spent in finding or reconciling data from multiple sources.

Automating repetitive / low-value tasks

The system supports “agents” (pre-built or custom) that handle workflows, such as invoice dispute management, supplier sourcing, employee onboarding tasks, etc.

By automating routine tasks, humans are freed to focus on more strategic work.

Providing insights & decision-support, not just raw data

Joule can analyse patterns/trends: e.g., predicting supply-chain disruptions, proposing better supplier decisions, analysing team performance, etc.

It is designed to link to a “knowledge graph” of business processes and data, so the AI doesn’t just regurgitate data but reasons in business context.

Making the user experience more intuitive and cross-system

Instead of separate apps/UX for each module, Joule gives a consistent “assistant” interface.
T.CON Team Consulting

It supports natural language (e.g., “Book me a travel request” or “Show me my team’s attrition rate”) which lowers training and adoption barriers.
NTT DATA Business Solutions Australia

Improving speed, productivity, and business agility

With tasks handled faster, decisions made more quickly, organisations can respond fast to changes (market, supply chain, workforce) rather than be slowed by data silos.

I use Joule for logistical analysis, obtaining valuable insights thanks to AI. The analytical charts and solutions offered by AI improve efficiency, and the onboarding facilitates the start of using the tool.

 ### 44. SAP's AI Joule Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor B. | Associate Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Joule?**

it has improved the ways for a developer and makes development easy normally when we are creating associations and aggregations we have to worry about cardinality and other parameters now it takes care of all these things just via prompts and also asks user if this is what user wants in case he or she wants to cancel or make further changes he or she can do that.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Normally we use booter to activate SAP build apps and then joule is automatically set up but many times joule does not get activated and you have to delete everything and re subscribe to solve the issue. Also primary functions of joule are restricted for a very limited period of time since its new clients need time to get used to and even understand its benefits suddenly increasing pricing and making restrictions even on free tier account makes it less accessible. I also believe the ui can be improved a lot as we are accepting suggestions from Joule to build to apps.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SAP Joule to set up & run our key finance app, the Capital Asset Price Model (CAPM). We make full, end-to-end finance model apps with it. They cover the whole work, from the user face to the back-end where we crunch data & do deep thinking. Key Skills App Making: We use Joule to make strong CAPM apps. They do hard money math, check risks, & plan portfolios. They work on many tech parts. Test Data Making: We craft smart test data in our apps. We make sure full testing is done. We check how the app works in all market states & with lots of data. We make real-like money data that acts like the true market & trade. Data Links Fix: Our build solves hard links & group links by smart data plans. This lets us: Keep good links of many assets to one portfolio Show right links of many risks to many stocks Keep all money info links safe & right Biz Worth This way makes our app build run smooth from start to end. It keeps the smart data links we need for right CAPM work. The platform's skill to fix data links & make good test data cuts the work time & bumps up how well the app works for our money model needs.

 ### 46. Practical AI copilot that simplifies tasks, with potential for faster performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prerak S. | Associate Research Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Joule?**

In my previous experience using Joule, I found it to be a very practical AI copilot for day-to-day work within SAP systems. Its natural language capabilities made it easy to get quick answers without needing to dig through multiple screens. I particularly liked how it could automate repetitive steps in workflows and provide context-aware suggestions, which saved me noticeable time. The interface felt intuitive and adoption within the team was smooth, making it easy for everyone to start benefiting from the tool quickly.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

From my hands-on experience, the main limitation I noticed was speed. At times, responses felt slower when dealing with more complex queries or larger datasets. While the core features were reliable, I felt there was room for Joule to expand on more advanced AI functionalities and third-party integrations to make it even more versatile. These are not dealbreakers, but they stood out as areas where the product could continue to evolve.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my experience using Joule, I’ve found it to be quite reliable in handling routine SAP-related tasks, which is why I trust it “quite a bit” for execution. However, I prefer extending autonomy with guardrails, as this ensures the system delivers productivity gains while keeping human oversight where needed. What would further increase my trust is the ability to configure these guardrails more flexibly and have clearer explainability for its outputs. While hallucinations don’t occur frequently, they do happen some of the time, so adding features that proactively alert users before questionable actions would enhance confidence and adoption. Overall, Joule has already been valuable in streamlining workflows and surfacing insights quickly, but building more transparency and safeguards will make it even more dependable for enterprise use.
