Smart and lightweight cloud drive service **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** André A. | Arquiteto e Urbanista, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024 **What do you like best about Jottacloud?** Jottacloud provides an efficient cloud drive service, with not much advanced bells and whistles, but being a simple to use and functional option, it works very well as a lightweight alternative to rival services, like OneDrive or Google Drive. Due to its straightforward approach, it has an easier implementation on the desktop version, which is less prone to eventual conflicts or problems when syncronizing files. The web version is also friendly, fast and a breeze to use and manage, files an backups. Jottacloud works seamlessly and quietly in background, being and ideal option for who is looking for a "setup and forget" cloud drive option. **What do you dislike about Jottacloud?** It lacks support to sync services between cloud drives, like MultCloud, mover.io, and similar. Also it does not have WebDAV or FTP access. **What problems is Jottacloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Jottacloud is idela when someone needs a cloud drive that is easy to setup, and that does not annoy the user with "syncing conflicts", problematic client updates and freezes (like onedrive), and difficult or enigmatic Windows integration (like google drive). ### 2. When you go over a certain amount of terrabytes of storage, they don't offer unlimited speed. This is not good customer service. **Recommendations to others considering Jottacloud:** I recommend others who do not need much backup space to choose Jottacloud because they are cheep **What problems is Jottacloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use jottacloud to backup my files from my computer and restore them. The fact that they are inexpensive is the main reason for choosing them. I am using them for my private backup needs. ### 3.
