(3) I love that unlike the apex data loader (which just allows you to save the mapping), Jiterbit saves the ENTIRE project from login to run, so you are only one click away from a rerun of a job. I love to set it and forget it! :) **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** I wish the success and error files could have better naming conventions and the ability to choose where they are saved. I wished the mapping page had both the names and the labels for the Salesforce fields. I wish it had a progress bar to show how many records had been processed (either a count or a percent would be nice). But these are minor issues, I really love the tool! **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** Make sure to take your questions to the Success community... they are very responsive to posts. I've never had to wait more than a day for an answer. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** So many!!! One example... we have a Salesforce custom object that has a very limited shelf life (less than 90 days) and then it becomes clutter. So I set up a query/delete combo that purges these records that were last modified more than 90 days ago automatically on a weekly basis. I also use it as my goto SOQL query because of it declarative interface. I click on the fields I want and it adds them to the logic. This is great for those who only know enough SOQL to be dangerous. :) ### 3. With the release of Jitterbit Harmony, we were able to use the new functionality to bring data from multiple sources into our Einstein Analytics tool and created in-depth dashboards. Our teams are able to make strategic decisions to streamline and grow our business in new and inventive ways without having to hop in and out of multiple systems like never before. Our Jitterbit team is amazing. We have a wonderful Customer success manager in Taylor and our Architects and System support are incredibly knowledgeable and make it easy for even the newest member of the team to understand the system benefits and functionality. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** As user friendly and flexible as Jitterbit is, a single comma can cause an error fail. Once you narrow in on the specific problem, it's easy to remedy. Implementations and iterations happen quickly compared to other development platforms which enables me to react quickly to changing business needs. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** As a former front end developer, I've found that my go-to toolbox of UI tricks are not necessarily the right way to implement styling changes. That said, the application has made it incredibly easy to customize the client side appearance without requiring me to decipher thousands of lines of CSS. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Product processing seems to be one business problem that arises fairly often for my team. Using Vinyl, we can create an application in a matter of days which is custom tailored to a specific process instead of bending a process around the limitations of an existing application. Additionally, because Vinyl allows us to integrate seamlessly with multiple and varied legacy systems, we can better focus on the actual business problem. ### 9. We value how simple it is to build integrations using the platform, allowing us to deliver projects quicker and in very reliable way. Thanks to its low-code approach and the out-the-box connectivity to widely used systems (like Salesforce and NetSuite) we were able to get real value right after implementing Jitterbit. Additionally, we use JItterbit's API gateway quite extensively to create our own API endpoints that enable us to integrate systems in real time. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** The design and performance of the Web Management Console could be improved. All gets better once you realise there's an API manager! **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** If your integrations do not require accessing data/platforms that sit behind your firewall, then I would suggest going with their cloud deployment or even with their self-managed environment in the Jitterbit Cloud. I would also suggest them to adopt Jitterbit's API gateway as this is a must if you are looking to build real-time integrations. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Jitterbit plays a key role in the orchestration of our internal data model. It drives communication between the different platforms and services we use internally, providing us with a single view of our customer. Jitterbit enables us to enhance our data model and reduce the turnaround of many projects that would have required bespoke integrations to be built from scratch. Instead, we are able to design and build integrations leaving the technical side of things aside and focusing on what matters to us - the business requirements. ### 10. It can do many other things as well, but we had purchased it specifically for our Salesforce needs. Within 3 months of owning Jitterbit, we were able to migrate our 20+ existing jobs from another EDI product that was not working well for our company. Plus, we have made many more data transport jobs since then. I have really not found any use-case that we could not complete with this product! For a few situations, we have reached out to Jitterbit support for assistance and they have been super accommodating. They have dug right in and helped us solve our problem. We are also interested in making REST based API jobs in the future, as Jitterbit has those capabilities as well. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** I love this product because it mostly works like I think. But, as with all products... not everyone feels that way (in our case we had a admin that did not feel it was intuitive -- but when you create a tool that has to do everything a developer wants to do, but also be usable by non-developers in our orgs, I believe that is going to be a given) **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly this has been a syncing of data between Salesforce and other external datbases (SQL Server and Oracle) and FTP. The biggest benefit we have gotten from switching to Jitterbit has been the extensive logging and troubleshooting!! With our previous product we used... sometimes jobs would fail to run to completion, but there would be no details regarding the issue and logging itself was minimal. With Jitterbit, we can control much of what we see in the logs and even add more specific logging if necessary. ### 11. The free version allowed me to create ad-hoc and scheduled integration between various databases and Salesforce. The full paid version is outstanding. I used this whilst consulting at Anglian Water in Peterborough in 2017. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Nothing comes to mind. Jitterbit is so easy to use and has such a huge depth of functionality that I would recommend to anyone. **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** THE BEST MIDDLEWARE ON THE MARKET! It isn't cheap but you get what you pay for and if you want to easily integrate multiple systems in real-time, Jitterbit is the way to go. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** The level of integration is second-to- none. It's easy to use and you can set up rules using SQL if required. I integrated Salesforce for real-time updates, with SAP, RapidXtra (a billing solution for water companies), Sage and various other systems. ### 12. The more they provide conceptual expamples the better for someone like me. They have great technical info and indexed resources. I am not going to give the pricing and terms a # grade because it is all about efficiency and automation and if I am using it, am happy with it and paying on time and it works, then it deserves 5 stars. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** All asspects of the circle of business ... sales ... receivables ... cash receipts ... purchases . payables ...disbursements .. financials ... operations ... manufacturing. The numerous applications we have implemented has proven to enhance the quality of work and improve efficiencies, which are key results from automating operational processes and reducing resource hours and efforts. It helps that the Zudy team follows a standard process for implementing projects, enhancements and quick fixes. This has allowed us to hit our timeline in an efficient way and ensure transparency with those involved. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Financially, the implementations are pretty costly but you would have to consider the quality of work produced and improvements made overtime. I would recommend an ROI analysis to ensure you're getting the "bang for your buck". In addition too, the Vinyl implementations have questioned our internal abilities to deliver quick and quality products within our own IT Department. It's pretty difficult to compare "apples to oranges" / "no-code apps to configurable apps" so it's necessary to explain the difference often. This is an opportunity to learn from Zudy and implement some best practices. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** What business problems are we not solving! We are nearing two years since we have collaborated with Zudy. Since then, we have implemented about 10 applications along with many improvements and quick fixes. As time goes on, more and more business users learn about "Vinyl" and/or "Zudy", they hear about the amazing work delivered and the improvements our internal and external customers experienced. We are seeing many benefits across multiple departments – people are catching on and want a piece of it. ### 16. I do not waste time debugging code. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Documentation within the tool could be more robust. **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** Contact the company and ask about their POC (Proof of Concept) offer. They will build a small real world application based on a business issue of yours that you help define. You get to see how fast and easy it is to build things in vinyl. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using vinyl to build new front end against old data. Easiest and fastest way to get business users the tools and features they need to do their job. Retire old applications one at a time instead of trying to rewrite everything all at once. Vinyl is very iterative. We sit with the business for a few hours and get the high level overview of what the issue is. We spend a day or two building the prototype and come back and show the business the result. This spurs conversation and we take another day or two to incorporate those changes. Rinse and repeat. You get buy-in from the business because they are involved in the process. ### 17. The client interface is very nice to use, with a lot of help on how to build integrations and end point linking. The mapping tool is an actual delight to use. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Some of the error notifications could be improved, but I understand this could be down to the way we use the tool. **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** There are a lot of options in the Salesforce area and companies trying to get your business. Please stop looking and just get on board with Jitterbit. It's easily accessible, highly customizable by users who are not developers and agile. What I like best is that it's EASY to use. It's clean, consistent and the IDE is not too complex. This can enable those who don't have a strong developer background to be successful. And the Zudy team have talented individuals who continue to improve it. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** I can see how in some cases or for some businesses, the look and feel can be "too simple." However, I have not had a lot of exposure to the "cosmetic" side of app designing. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're giving users a better opportunity to access data without having to VPN in, utilize remote desktop connection and wait for a clunky ERP to load. We also have our Customer Success Manager that is amazing, she will answer any of my questions almost right away, or if she doesn't know the answer, she will connect me with the right person. I've been using Jitterbit for a couple years now and I never had a bad experience with their support. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Their "success central" site is pretty good, but I thought it was lacking video tutorials. The simplistic approach to build, test and deploy an integration is a massive positive. There code library is vast, so you should always find what you need, and if you get into any trouble their Support team are at hand. Which I must say is one of the best I've worked with! The team release new versions of Studio and the Agent often, so the product is always improving. But recently had the opportunity to see the new release of the Studio (web based), and must say I'm excited to begin working with it and migrate our Projects. This is a glowing recommendation, and NO, I don't work for Jitterbit! **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** It’s difficult to identify pain points, but my only criticism (at a stretch) is the Activities page on the WMC. The team was incredibly supportive in out discovery phase and continue to partner with us for our ongoing success. Integration with Salesforce.com and Salesforce Analytics from our ERP and data warehouse was seemless and easy. Creation of operations and transformation is so easy that we can be functional in minutes. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** Some of the transformation 'code' could be easier for someone with basic SQL knowledge. Larger data loads seem to take extended time (creation of DataSets in Analytics) but we are working to identify improvements with the Jitterbit team **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** ERP integration to Salesforce.com wich allows for shared core data and improved business efficiencies. We also use Jitterbit for Dataset creation with Salesforce.com Analitics, this allows us to share sales results with field sales teams on a daily basis and provide a single tool for them to manage their business. ### 49. I also appreciate accessing Vinyl via a web browser, and hence it's platform flexibility. The API integration is very helpful when interfacing with numerous other applications and extracting information for consumption. Leveraging HTML, CSS, and other formatting options, the possibilities are endless in regards to the look and feel of Vinyl, which is great for customers. Vinyl can be highly customized and personalized down to the user. Avoiding the need to code is not just less troublesome, it is also makes development a lot quicker, which is of utmost importance for customers who's time is of utmost importance. And all customers want a quick turn around, in my experience. **What do you dislike about Jitterbit?** There are two major functions I believe would make the usability and overall perceived and realized value of Vinyl increase: a better visual representation of the sql processes (tables, joins, etc.) and the ability to input raw sql code and have Vinyl build DO's, sub Qs, etc. These are small request compared to what I can already do. **Recommendations to others considering Jitterbit:** The possibilities seem endless, and it can be overwhelming, but starting with a solid framework and building on top of it is important. **What problems is Jitterbit solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a developer, I have been solving many different types of problems including order review and tracking, scheduled workflow emails, customer management, business intel, and scheduling to name a few. I anticipate and hope to leverage the platform to perform other tasks like automated ordering, inventory management, and more complicated workforce management. ### 50.
