The Entire UI gives very minimalistic and easy to understand vibe. It doesnt overwhelm with bunch of features just for the sake of adding it. Also the data import feature like importing from clockify which helps in migrating from existing timesheet apps. Performance wise feels smooth and not very laggy. The dislike is mostly related to how the platform is structured for timesheet tracking. For example if someone is coming from Clockfiy where they have been tracking against Client, project and a Tag where as Jibble only had 2 variables to track against although we could do some workarounds but still. I love how Jibble keeps all the information in one easy-to-find place, organizing it so it's not an admin mess. It makes processing timesheets and project invoices much quicker and provides a reliable source of information for Xero and my record-keeping. I like its easy-to-use interface and Google Chrome extension. The Google Chrome extension makes it easy and fuss-free for me to log time against each project without having to open up a whole new window, keeping my workspace less cluttered. I find some of the buttons / drop down menus within the website to be a bit slow or have a bit of lag between when they are pressed. I think the integration into Xero could be made a bit more obvious as it wasn't clear to me when first signing up that I also needed to create a separate Jibble account after already gaining access through Xero for the chrome extension and apps to work. What I like most is how easy Jibble is to use on smartphones. We previously relied on a fixed biometric attendance system at our head office, but we replaced it with the Jibble app because the fixed setup wasn’t practical for our project field staff. While Jibble is excellent for pure attendance and time tracking, it has a few limitations and areas where it doesn't work as well, depending on your team's needs: 1. Weak Project Management and Billing Tools Jibble is brilliant at tracking who is working and where, but it is not built for complex project analytics. It lacks built-in client invoicing tools. The task hierarchy is relatively flat; if your projects involve deep sub-tasks, kanban boards, or setting separate 'cost rates' versus 'client billing rates' to track project profitability, Jibble will feel too basic. 2. No true Shift Scheduling While you can set up strict work schedules and time-tracking rules (like expected shift lengths or overtime limits), Jibble does not feature a fully fledged drag-and-drop shift planner. It lacks advanced scheduling capabilities like managing open shifts, shift swapping between employees, or automatic schedule conflict detection. 3. Underdeveloped Mobile Dashboard Even though the mobile app is clean and makes it easy for employees to clock in, the manager/admin dashboard on mobile leaves a lot to be blank space. It doesn't present live data, team metrics, or visual reporting as effectively on a phone screen as it does on the web browser app. 4. No Built-In Team Messaging Unlike some modern workforce management tools, Jibble does not include an internal team chat feature. If managers need to broadcast an announcement or if employees need to coordinate directly within the tracking app, you still have to rely on third-party communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams. I like how easy it is to clock in and clock out for a team that is working remote. Being able to run the application from your phone, browser, or desktop application puts the freedom in people's hands to use the product how they wish and is best with their own setups and machine performance. I like Jibble's convenience and accessibility through both a website and a phone app. The feature of requiring a photo for time in and time out is great because it proves that my staff are the actual ones clocking in and out. It's efficient, allowing time tracking via kiosk mode right at my matcha stall, which ensures my staff are working when they should be and tracks their attendance to the minute, including breaks. Plus, it's free, which is perfect for my business as I can base how I pay my employees on their hours, tardiness, and attendance. The setup was also very easy; I got it done in about ten minutes. I think one way to improve Jibble is to be able to make proper shifts, especially since the schedules of my employees change weekly. Having a feature to create and manage shifts would be beneficial.
