**What do you like best about Jane?**

I use Jane for psychotherapy and I appreciate its ease of use. It effectively handles my appointment scheduling, payments, billings, and more, which is essential as an admin assistant. I also like the video conferencing and secured messaging features, which work especially well.

Moving platforms was challenging, however, this was not due to any fault of Jane.

Since the system update, the software sometimes keeps freezing. It makes it hard to use when it happens.

There was no options to allow the system to send various automated emailed per schedule.

Allow to create patient chart, visit notes and internal note with ease. Allow for easy scheduling for patients.

Very easy to use and integrate multiple practictioners. I already recommended to multiple businesses and collegues.

I think it would be important to have an app for the patients.

Making it user friendly for many practitioners. I loved how the notes you can find templates for.

I love Jane. I was not necessarily a fan of their forms, I couldn't format forms the way I wanted to you so that made things a little bit difficult. But I truly loved working with Jane.

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

I disliked that my admin and bookkeeper had to pay for an account and I disliked that I couldn't necessarily edit forms the way I wanted them.

I no longer use Jane so I have no idea.

**What do you like best about Jane?**

I liked the nice copywriting tone which made me feel safe and supported when I began.

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

I dislike that the support is simply nice words and not real. 

The software doesn't provide enough evidence to prevent a client from making fradualently claims to their credit card company. They could not provide time logs showing the client was logged into their sessions. And in this lack of supporting evidence will then automatically refund the client for their entire course of theraputic treatment. 

Then after the software fails to have your back the support team also fails to provide evidence to the credit card company on your behalf. They will not provide evidence or access for you to provide your own evidence. 

Jane App outlines their billing policies, which state that if a client disputes a charge made through Jane's platform, Jane App will investigate the claim and may provide evidence and documentation to the therapist to assist in defending against the dispute. 

But we found out they won't follow through on providing evidence or supporting the therapist. It feels like at the end of the day they simply don't care about you losing money. 

We lost money full months of treatment after providing all the documentation of it and invoicing and more. The problem was in trusting that they would support us. 

Worse the client got away with fraud and Jane supported them refunding all the fradualent claims out of our bank account.

**What problems is Jane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me find a new software that works better has more options and is cheaper. Without this horrible experience I never would have looked elsewhere. Finding another software has provided our clinic with a wider ability in Telehealth and our clients are happier with the new software.

**What do you like best about Jane?**

Very easy to read and use. I love the light blue display and it is very well organized that the user like us can use it without much worries. Definitely recommend.

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

To be honest, I think there are way too many drop down options for this product that new user may have difficulties. I understand that some of the questions are very needed but questions like different types of quanitites may be reptitive.

We use it to organize all the taxes and expenses so it definitely helps us putting the information on this application rather than we plug it in our excel sheet.

Easy to use and easy to track current and past appointments.  Easy to cancel appointments as well.  I also like the "oops" option if you accidentally select "schedule appointment."

No items to dislike currently.  Wish more businesses were also using JANE app.

No longer have to call and ask questions, back and forth on dates.  Can easily see schedules for selected providers

There are some difficulties in the time zone coordination, as everything shows in my local time zone for me and my clients. This isn't great when I'm working with clients in other areas.

Organizing appointments, sending reminders to clients, charting quickly and effectively, managing stock, financial reporting, reporting, point of sale, reminders to book, so much more.

**What do you like best about Jane?**

Because of Jane, I was able to switch from paper records to digital in just one day! I started tinkering with Jane on a Sunday, and was using it easily on Monday. I was so impressed with how easy it was to use Jane that a week later, I signed a lease on a gorgeous new office location that did not have enough space for paper records. This was only possible because Jane made it possible for me to do all record-keeping digitally. Here are a few thing I love about Jane:
1. Works on iPad- my primary computing device
2. Great chart note features that are easy to modify
3. Great community- you can publish templates for community use, as well as use templates other practices have contributed. This saves time!
4. Awesome customer service- the staff as SO helpful, and they are always patient and cheerful!
5. Responsiveness and innovation- They are constantly rolling out new features that the community pitches and votes for
6. Integrated payments- They integrate with Stripe to make payment processing frictionless

This list goes on...

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

It would be nice if they supported integration with Square or other platforms, instead of only Stripe. I am looking forward to when they add new features for patient surveys. For example, it would be nice to be able to send a survey or email asking for a review to one patient instead of all at once, and whenever you want, instead of only after the first visit, or at set intervals. This is a minor functional request that can probably be fulfilled readily.

**Recommendations to others considering Jane:**

I highly recommend using Jane. It is way better than paper records and Chirotouch.

**What problems is Jane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jane allowed me to occupy a smaller office space in a great location, because I did not need the extra space for paper records. That also helps the environment. Patients are able to complete their forms before coming into the office, which happened less often with paper records. That means we spend initial visits more efficiently. Payments are now no-contact with Stripe, and they are faster than having patients use physical cards and sign. Patients now sign the iPad for consent forms, instead of signing paper forms. I rarely print anything, and so far everyone has been happy receiving emailed receipts and receipts that they can access anytime online.

**What do you like best about Jane?**

like that it is privacy complient, like that it is canadian, the help desk is availible very quickly- they are second to enterprise level MS, which is very good.

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

The service is very MVP. Minimal viable product. Does not have a bell, maybe just a small whistle, certainly no and. 
Ideally you get this because you have been very delinquent in getting your business online and are transitioning to a better piece of SaaS later built specifically for your business (dentist, chiro, etc)- as you "prove" the online thing can work for your business without spending $600 a month at first. 

Things Jane is doesn't currently do: 

- full custom subdomain. like: booking.soreloser.com for a sports therapy business, where soreloser.com is the main domain of the biz. vs https://soreloser.janeapp.com/
- Dual send outs (SMS & EMAIL)  of surveys, patient welcomes, reviews (email only)- doesn’t do yet.
- Patient overview on the patient tab. OR do anything on this page. 
- Impossible to tell who filled out a clinical survey- no list or historically record- have to go patient by patient chart. no way to search for it. 
- search- not good, limited.
- importing records yourself- cannot do this- they have to and they do screw it up. IF they have to upload to the dbase, you know this is being held together by strings and tape. 
- Any kind of insight on how emails are being sent- doesn’t use your DNS records to send. so its a 3rd party sender- opens? don’t know. bounced because it looked like spam? don’t know. 
- reports- very, very basic and not exportable to MS BI or something to find out top treatments or whatever. 
- UI very ad hoc
- Cannot send out a satisfaction survey and have it compile results- you are expected to have other software to do that. 
- patient cannot fill in patient info book an appointment without creating an account- but yet every shopping cart has a guest account, hmmmmm.
- no double opt in for marketing
- no ability to limit or change what jane thinks should be on a patient form- legal or otherwise. 
- if the office is in a building with multiple tenants, you will not get a link to a google review but rather a "123 fake street" search in google, coming up with god knows what. NO way to manually override- unless you specifically put the link in message body. 
- its very light and non-existent on marketing. The whole point is marketing- I don’t care how good you are- most are average at best so they, (everyone) needs all the help they can get in marketing. 
- Its not currently super easy. 

MY advice- online marketing spend surpassed offline so get online, pay for proper sector software and do not use jane- it does nothing well at the time of this writing.

pay for a tool that is specifically for your sector- Unless you are very price sensitive.

proved out the idea that online booking is useful. It justified the $600 a month price of the software needed for my industry.

Jane is an easy-to-use, intuitive platform with a great help section and excellent customer service. It has many important functionalities needed for healthcare-related service providers.

**What do you dislike about Jane?**

It's a newer software, so some kinks are still being worked out, but overall very user-friendly as user suggestions are valued, and new updates and improvements are constantly coming out as a result.

**What problems is Jane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program allows medical charts, notes, and results to be easily uploaded. It has a built-in direct billing function for insurance companies. You can pencil in breaks, easily communicate with co-workers, and even assign tasks. Rescheduling, canceling, and booking recurring appointments is very easy. You can specify relationships between patients and grant according permissions.
