iTrent Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI
Is iTrent free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, iTrent does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is iTrent pricing best suited for?

iTrent's pricing is best suited for mid-market organizations of 51 to 1,000 employees, particularly in HR services, staffing, healthcare, and compliance-heavy environments. G2 reviewers in these segments extract the most value from iTrent's unified payroll, GDPR tooling, ATS integration, and automated labor law calculations. Enterprise users in hospital and health care also report positive experiences, especially for self-serve and holiday management at scale. Small businesses get functional value from centralized HR and payroll data but are more likely to feel the cost pressure. iTrent's custom-quote model makes it a stronger fit for organizations with complex workforce structures than for lean, budget-constrained teams.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of iTrent?

iTrent offers no free version or free tier. According to G2's pricing data for iTrent, the pricing of iTrent is structured around custom enterprise quotes, meaning there is no publicly listed entry-level plan or trial option documented in G2 data. Prospective buyers must engage directly with MHR for pricing. G2 reviewers note iTrent's pricing is subscription-based, with customization options available but flagged as expensive to unlock. Organizations evaluating iTrent should budget for both the base subscription and potential add-on costs for deeper customization, as reviewers across small business and mid-market segments consistently flag customization expense as a meaningful secondary cost.

Is iTrent considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers give iTrent a mixed value verdict, averaging around 4.0/5 across segments. Mid-market users in HR compliance and staffing cite strong ROI from unified payroll, GDPR consent tracking, and ATS integration eliminating manual cross-system work. However, cost concerns surface repeatedly: one reviewer flags subscription costs as potentially prohibitive, another notes customization is very expensive, and a staffing reviewer calls iTrent's pricing outright expensive. High-complexity organizations with multi-jurisdiction payroll needs tend to rate value higher; smaller teams with simpler needs find the cost harder to justify. Slow support resolution and absent pre-built audit templates add hidden admin overhead that erodes perceived value for compliance-heavy users.

"Flexible, User-Friendly Payroll Solution with Exceptional Support"
5/5
What do you like best about iTrent?

I find iTrent incredibly user-friendly for managing our payroll system, especially for a large team like ours with over 5,000 employees. I really appreciate the flexibility it offers, allowing us to customize processes to suit our organization's specific needs. The data conversion function is particularly helpful for handling large volumes of data efficiently, which is crucial for our payroll operations. I also value the responsive support team, who are quick to assist us with any issues and help us use the system to its full potential. The various access levels for different teams and the employee self-service functions make iTrent adaptable and easy to navigate, which is a big plus for us. I also appreciate how we can move and customize the dashboard items for better usability. Overall, the system's adaptability and the support network are what make iTrent stand out for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iTrent?

I think there's a lot more potential to iTrent that we could be using, but because we only use the payroll function, it really limits sort of the ability the system has. We're holding it back because it's got much more abilities around absence schemes, statutory payments, reports, and journals for finance which we're not using. And even though iTrent interacts well with other systems and has interfaces between them, our problem is with the other HR system we use that doesn't integrate well, which makes data handling more manual and cumbersome. So, while iTrent itself is not the issue, it is being restricted by the lack of integration capabilities on the other end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"iTrent: Feature-Rich but Tough to Customize"
2.5/5
What do you like best about iTrent?

I like that iTrent offers a manager self-serve platform and an employee self-serve platform. It's partly customizable, which allows managers to be self-sufficient in how they work. As an individual, I find it convenient to log on and check my holiday and other details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iTrent?

It's difficult to customize. It can be quite clunky and looks a little old fashioned. To customize some elements is very expensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
