## Intruder Reviews
 ### 1. Painless Authenticated Scanning and Smart Prioritization in One Pane

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amr E. | Cloud Security Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google One Tap using a business email account

**Source: Organic Review from Pop Up:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Intruder does the core job well: continuous vulnerability scanning across both infrastructure and web apps from a single pane, with attack-surface monitoring that actually flags new exposures instead of just re-reporting the same noise. Setting up authenticated DAST was genuinely painless — the session-cookie approach for authenticated app scanning worked as documented and got us scanning behind login without a lot of trial and error. Findings are prioritized sensibly, so we spend time on what's exploitable rather than triaging a wall of low-severity items. Rolling it out across a multi-project cloud environment was clean, and the reporting is presentable enough to hand to non-security stakeholders and auditors with minimal reformatting.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Authenticated scanning is solid once configured — for more complex apps it took a little manual work to get the session handling dialed in, and a few more edge-case examples in the docs would smooth that out. Licensing is split between infrastructure and application targets, so there's a bit of upfront sizing math to get the mix right across a larger estate, but it's straightforward once you've mapped your targets. Teams wanting very deep customization of scan logic may eventually want a heavier enterprise DAST platform — though for most that added complexity isn't worth trading away Intruder's simplicity.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as our external vulnerability scanning and attack-surface management layer across a cloud environment — both infrastructure and authenticated web-app scanning. It gives us continuous visibility into new exposures and feeds clean, prioritized findings and audit-ready reporting into our vulnerability management and compliance workflows.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I use Intruder for vulnerability scanning and annual pentesting. It gives me peace of mind on the evolving CVE landscape and helps me stay abreast of what's happening in the security landscape. I like that issues are almost always genuine, with the best false positive rate I've seen. Its thorough coverage, automatic weekly scanning, and integration with systems like Vanta and Jira for compliance purposes are also really valuable. The initial setup was pretty simple, taking about an hour or so.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The container scanning feature has a lot of potential but could benefit from Github integration to monitor the underlying Dockerfiles

**Recommendations to others considering Intruder:**

If something doesn't make sense, contact support! They are awesome and know their stuff.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Intruder for vulnerability scanning and pentesting. It gives me peace of mind about the evolving CVE landscape, integrates with compliance systems, and provides thorough coverage with the best false positive rate I've seen.

 ### 3. Effortless Vulnerability Management with Automated Scanning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant J. | Security Solution Architech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I like the automated continuous vulnerability scanning with Intruder. It's easy to understand the risk prioritization and the clear reporting, along with the Zero Trust recommendation. The scheduled scanning helps us identify new vulnerabilities and security risks without relying on manual scans and tracking. We've connected Intruder's API with our KPI portal for automatic update reporting, which gives a clear picture of remediation tasks based on criticality. The setup is quite easy to understand and implement—it's like butter and bread.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Sometimes we had an issue with the remediation recommendation scanner output result, which doesn't show clear steps to address the issue. If we can get proper steps along with the path and the redirected URLs which need to updated version of relevant application, it would make implementation and troubleshooting easier.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Intruder for continuous vulnerability scanning, reducing manual effort, and providing better visibility and risk prioritization. It enhances security monitoring across our assets and integrates with our KPI portal for automated reporting and tracking based on criticality.

 ### 4. Thorough, Accurate Scans with Clear Reports and Incredible Support

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

What I like best about Intruder is that it actually works. The scans are thorough and accurate without being a nightmare to manage. We've saved a huge amount of time compared to what we were doing before, which means our team can focus on fixing issues instead of hunting for them.

The reports are clear and detailed, which makes it easy to communicate vulnerabilities to the rest of the business. And honestly, the support has been incredible there's always someone available to help when we need it. The Git integration has made our lives easier too, fitting nicely into our existing workflows.

It's rare to find a tool that's both easy to use and genuinely powerful, but Intruder manages it.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Very little. It does the job exceptionally well, and our team hasn't run into any real pain points. The only thing I'd say is that no tool is perfect for every scenario, but for our vulnerability management and pen testing needs, Intruder has been solid.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were spending a lot of time manually hunting for vulnerabilities across our infrastructure, which meant our security team was stretched thin and vulnerabilities were taking too long to identify and fix. Intruder automated that process and gave us visibility we didn't have before.

 ### 5. True “Set and Forget” Vulnerability Scanning with Timely, Actionable Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petr N. | System specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Since we were approached by our customers to provide a vulnerability scanning results in Audits, we searched for a solution that will be "set and forget" style and that is exactly what we got. We have provided the tool our public endpoints and pretty much did not touch it ever since. We get regular daily new and weekly scan results and should there be any new thread, we get immediate remedy proposal. The fact that nobody needs to actively watch for new vulnerabilities and all our endpoints are scanned immediately is perhaps the best feature!

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Not really anything that we would dislike, perhaps the UI gets rather rich and for casual use I might get lost sometimes.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem solved for us is access to nearly online vulnerability scan results and the ability to provide to every audit request the most recent results. not like usually 6 months old data - in todays world when new threads arise daily, this is the main benefit.

 ### 6. Automatic Emerging-Threat Scanning and Audit-Ready Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

We primarily use intruder's core scanning product, to scan both on schedules and for emerging threats.

The fact it scans automatically for emerging threats is very handy as we can always be confident we'll get notified if we are vulnerable to a new exploit.

Then being able to produce a report for the hosts we require has been useful during audits.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

We have experienced issues where scans were taking longer than expected and we didn't receive any notifications around this, nor was there any useful debugging information we could access to try and diagnose the issue.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use intruder for External Vulnerability Scans, to satisfy this requirement for audits and to get a complete picture of what our external attack surface looks like.

 ### 7. Reliable Service with Flexible Plans and Strong Support

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Reliable service. They offer a variety of plans that fit different business needs. Customer support and overall service are good. They are also introducing a new platform in the UK that complies with all related laws and regulations.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

They aren’t listed as a Cyber Essentials Plus approved vendor, and they really need to address this.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in vulnerability assessment in the UK, so it matters to me that they comply with GDPR and the Computer Misuse Act, as any company operating in the UK must. That compliance provides reassurance for someone who deals with this pain on a daily basis.

 ### 8. Great VM & Website Scans with Clear Pen Test Reports

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I really like Intruder's ability for real-time vulnerability scanning, which keeps us updated almost instantly when a new vulnerability is published and tells us where we're exposed. Before Intruder, our vulnerability assessments were done on a quarterly basis, and there could be up to three months between a vulnerability being disclosed and the next scan to discover if we were exposed. Now, with Intruder, we have near real-time updates. The environment scanning and discovery features are also great because they alert us immediately if anything new comes into the estate, often referred to as shadow IT. Intruder has become our number one, 100% vulnerability assessment tool, replacing both Nessus open source and Tenable, as it's just as capable but significantly better. The initial setup was super easy, almost a perfect 9.85 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The Azure integration for Intruder is definitely still a little bit immature.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Intruder for real-time vulnerability scanning, solving issues with delayed assessments and ensuring instant awareness of vulnerabilities. It provides immediate environment scanning and discovery, alerting us of new changes and vulnerabilities.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

What we’ve found most helpful about Intruder is the clarity and prioritisation of its findings. Rather than overwhelming us with low-value noise, it highlights vulnerabilities that genuinely matter and explains why they are important. The continuous scanning model is a big advantage, as it means new issues are identified as our environment changes, rather than relying on occasional point-in-time tests. The level of context provided for each finding, including exploitability and practical remediation guidance, makes it much easier to take meaningful action. Intruder also gives excellent visibility of externally exposed assets, which are often the areas of highest risk. The dashboard is clean and intuitive, allowing us to communicate risk clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and it integrates smoothly into our existing workflows without heavy setup. Overall, it provides ongoing assurance that we are actively reducing real-world risk rather than simply running scans for compliance.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

At this stage, we haven’t identified any significant downsides. The platform has been straightforward to set up, the findings have been clear and actionable, and it has integrated well into our existing processes. If anything, any future feedback is more likely to be around additional features or refinements rather than core shortcomings, but so far our experience has been entirely positive.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intruder is solving the problem of infrequent, point-in-time vulnerability testing. Previously, vulnerability scanning was largely an annual exercise carried out by third-party suppliers, which meant issues could exist for months before being identified. By using Intruder to run regular weekly scans, we now have continuous visibility of our security posture and can identify and address vulnerabilities much earlier. This significantly reduces risk, shortens remediation timelines, and gives us far greater confidence that new or emerging issues are not being missed between formal assessments.

 ### 15. Intruder: Insightful Vulnerability Management Platform That Strengthens Security Operation

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

The intuitive dashboard, regular external attack surface monitoring, and helpful remediation guidance make it a highly efficient tool. Additionally, the simplicity of onboarding and the minimal operational overhead significantly enhance its overall value.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

There is nothing to dislike about the Intruder platform for security vulnerability management.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intruder has helped streamline our vulnerability management processes by giving us continuous visibility of weaknesses across our environment, supported by timely notifications and actionable insights. The service has proven to be a valuable addition to our security posture, and the team behind it has been responsive and professional whenever support was needed.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

It does what we need it to do and requires very little interaction or maintenance on our part. We haven’t had any issues with it so far—it just works.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The Help Center feels buried under my account information, and it really should be more prominent on the screen. It took me a while to locate it. I’d also like to see more specific information on ciphers, including guidance on how they should be used in different situations. Finally, when the recommended fix requires a software upgrade, we sometimes can’t upgrade due to legacy concerns; it would be helpful to have suggestions for alternative methods to stay protected, or at least a clear place to find that kind of information.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase security for our websites and provide documentation of penetration testing to our clients and vendors

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I appreciate Intruder's easy user interface, which allows me to navigate effortlessly. The automatic scanning feature is invaluable as it runs scans whenever a new issue arises, saving me the need to initiate them manually. This automation helps in quickly identifying new vulnerabilities and understanding what they pertain to. I love the capability to easily track issues within the interface until they are resolved, simplifying my workflow significantly. Additionally, Intruder's proactive approach in staying on top of identifying potential security vulnerabilities means I don’t have to allocate someone specifically for constant monitoring, which is a considerable advantage. The initial setup was straightforward as well, only requiring the creation of dedicated user accounts for the application and the Intruder bot to log in and perform deep scanning. Overall, Intruder not only maintains a seamless usability but also effectively integrates with our development tools like Azure DevOps, making it an incredibly valuable resource in our security management efforts.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Nothing comes to mind.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Intruder to identify security vulnerabilities in our applications and networks, providing solutions to fix these issues. Its automatic scanning and easy interface save time by eliminating the need for constant monitoring.

Right now, we're in the honeymoon phase and enjoying all of it.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

My company was looking for a good service to enhance our managed platform offer to clients. While we were using some automated scanning before, Intruder is vastly more comprehensive and provides much wider scope for our needs.

When considering the solution I spoke with Dan in the Intruder team who did a great job of understanding our context and needs, and showing us how Intruder may suit us. This was followed by the 14 day trial where we ran a few tests before deciding to take on a paid plan.

The Intruder system is comprehensive but easy to use, and integrating it into each of our projects for testing was simple. There is a lot of documentation to help, and the web chat feature has also been good to talk through any specific queries with the team.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

It is quite early days for us and so far everything has been great. One thing I could possibly comment on is that the scan times (at least on our projects) did take a bit longer than I originally expected. We did a simple external scan on one platform and it took nearly 16 hours to complete. That said, the time does also show how comprehensively it is testing, and now we know what to expect we can build it that sort of time into our schedule.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasingly our clients are putting cyber security and risk front of mind on projects, with some having specific compliance checks required to work with them. Intruder is helping us meet these needs as part of our wider package and gives both us and our clients a bit more reassurance that their online assets are secure.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Dealing with Intruder as a company, product aside (which is thorough). The people involved behind the scenes are the ones that truly sell this product. (It sells itself) I have nothing but gratitude and favourable things to utter about each and every individual I deal with from Intruder. They know who they are. Deployment is easy, support is excellent and I just like it.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Being the positive, affable individual I am. There is nothing I dislike about the product. I am embracing the ever evolving Threat Intelligence elements breathing life into the product.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a level of confidence that new systems/hosts that are spun up, the machines will be 'seen' and scans will provide emerging threat scans. You can relax and just let it do its thing!

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Intruder delivers a great balance between strong vulnerability scanning capabilities and a clean, intuitive user experience. The setup was especially smooth thanks to the helpful onboarding flow and in-app guidance.

One standout feature is how authentication is handled—when configuring an authenticated scan, Intruder captures a screenshot after the login attempt. This made it incredibly easy to confirm that the scanner had proper access to the application, which saved time and eliminated the usual trial-and-error.

The vulnerability findings are clearly prioritised, with remediation steps that are actionable and easy to follow. I also want to highlight the excellent support—both the automated agent and live support were knowledgeable and responsive, helping us resolve questions quickly.

We setup weekly scans and it is possible to configure emails to be sent along with integrations to have a process of acting on the scan results.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The only real friction point was understanding the licence model. Intruder separates licences into Infrastructure and Application, which wasn’t immediately intuitive when getting started. It took a bit of time and support to fully understand how each licence type applies to different scan targets and that these scan for a different set of vulnerabilities.

Additionally, while the default reporting and scan options are solid, some advanced users may wish for more fine-grained control and export flexibility when generating custom reports.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intruder enables us to stay on top of vulnerabilities with a structured, weekly scanning process that fits into our security operations processes. The platform helps us identify and prioritise issues early—before they become incidents.

We’ve also activated emerging threat scans, to get early indication of issues.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I’ve been testing out Intruder.io for the past couple of weeks, mainly to get a feel for how well it fits into a cloud-heavy environment. So far, I’ve integrated it with Azure and ran tests using their agent, and I have to say—I'm mostly impressed.

First impressions:
The UI is clean and intuitive. I didn’t need to dig through documentation to figure out where things were. Connecting it to our Azure environment was smooth—probably one of the easiest integrations I’ve done in a while. Once the scans kicked off, results started coming in quickly, and the platform did a solid job of flagging vulnerabilities with enough context to take action.

Agent test:
I also tested the internal scanning using their agent. Setup was simple, and the scan ran without a hitch. It’s lightweight and didn’t bog down the VM, which is something I always look out for.

Final thoughts:
For someone looking to get up and running fast with a reliable vulnerability management tool—especially in the cloud—I think Intruder.io delivers. It's not the deepest tool for hardcore pentesters, but for ongoing visibility and clean reporting, it’s exactly the kind of lightweight, effective solution I’d recommend for SMBs or hybrid cloud setups.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Advanced users might miss some of the granular control you’d get in something like Nessus or OpenVAS.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With so many moving parts—VMs, endpoints, services—it’s easy for issues to go unnoticed. Intruder helps by automating the scanning process and clearly prioritizing real risks instead of flooding me with low-impact noise.

Since integrating it with Azure and testing the agent, I’ve had better visibility into both external and internal threats, without needing to manually trigger scans or sift through overwhelming reports. It’s saving me time, reducing risk exposure, and making it easier to stay proactive about security.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Intruder stands out for its ease of use, its clean, intuitive interface means I can start a scan or review results without wasting time navigating complex menus. Getting set up was quick and straightforward, with minimal configuration required to get it running effectively. Despite its simplicity, it offers a rich set of features, from comprehensive vulnerability scanning to easy rescan options, which makes it a perfect fit for frequent use. The platform integrates smoothly with our workflow, so running scans, reviewing results, and taking action feels seamless rather than disruptive to daily operations. Additionally, the Customer Support has been some of the best, they respond within the hour of your request and can schedule meetings for discussion the next day if needed. Also the CSMs automatically schedule meetings to check up and update you about new tools they released.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that scan times can occasionally be longer than expected, especially during peak usage periods. It’s not a dealbreaker, but quicker turnaround would make the process even smoother when dealing with time-sensitive issues.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenge as a small security team is keeping up with the constant stream of potential threats and vulnerabilities across our environment. Intruder helps us overcome this by automating the discovery, prioritization, and tracking of security issues, allowing us to stay on top of our IT security without becoming overwhelmed. It pinpoints vulnerabilities that would have taken us days to identify manually, and provides clear, actionable remediation steps that save us valuable time. The ability to quickly rescan after fixes means we can validate our work immediately, ensuring risks are addressed before they can be exploited. This efficiency not only improves our security posture but also frees up our team to focus on other critical initiatives.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I like how easy Intruder is to set up and execute. The autoscanner is one of the most important features for me, along with the continuous updates on critical security vulnerabilities.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Some SQL injections are not found. We had one recently that a colleague found, but Intruder apparently skipped or didn't manage to find. It doesn't integrate with our end-to-end tests, which would be very helpful.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intruder scans our application and endpoints monthly to promptly identify security vulnerabilities.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

The interface is super simple. From experience with vulnerability scanners the config can sometimes be made to feel more complex than it needs to be. However Intruder is painless. I've also raised a few questions with the customer support team and the comms are always, fast, to the point. Other SaaS security providers could take note. It's also significantly cheaper than alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

If you are dealing with an incredibly large number of different resource types the interface and filters may be somewhat restrictive but for most SME and enterprise it's perfect.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a low cost, easy to use full scope scanner. It solves a lot of problems. There really isn't any reason to get this stuff wrong as it's made super easy and with in reach for any business.

Super easy to configure to include all cloud resources in both AWS and Azure to ensure vulnerability issues are identified and considered in a timely manner. Added benefit of application scanning through addition of credentials for application login to perform a level of penetration testing too.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Can have a number of false positives - but these can be easily tagged as noise.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping on top of vulnerabilities across our cloud infrastructure and applications. Ease of using a single pane of glass across both AWS and Azure (that we use) as well running application security.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I appreciate Intruder.io's user-friendly interface, which simplifies navigation and operation, making it accessible even for those with limited technical expertise. Additionally, its extensive vulnerability scanning capabilities provide comprehensive coverage, ensuring that potential security issues are thoroughly identified and addressed

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

While Intruder.io offers a user-friendly interface and extensive coverage, generating reports for specific resources isn't intuitive. Additionally, updating targets requires deletion and re-adding, likely due to licensing constraints, necessitating reliance on external DNS configuration

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Intruder.io to conduct weekly scans of our systems, effectively identifying vulnerabilities and gaps in our security posture. This proactive approach enables us to address issues promptly, thereby reducing our exposure to potential threats. Additionally, Intruder.io's Emerging Threat Scans automatically assess our environment against newly identified critical vulnerabilities, ensuring we stay protected against the latest threats.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Intruder is an incredibly easy-to-use security scanning service that automatically and efficiently identifies vulnerabilities. It's a powerful tool that eliminates the stress of managing cybersecurity risks, making it ideal for both small teams and larger organizations. The intuitive interface, clear reports, and time-saving features make it a standout solution. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable for the value it provides. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a hassle-free security solution.

Implementation is straightforward, even if your environment includes firewalls or authentication systems. You can simply add exclusions, which are conveniently provided during the configuration process. We run scans on a weekly basis, benefiting from the automated scanning features (every month), while also conducting manual scans whenever we release something new to ensure security remains airtight.

The customer support is outstanding — responsive, efficient, and highly helpful. Additionally, integrating Intruder with our platform was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

We've been using Intruder for years, and right now there's nothing we dislike about it.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It alerts us in case of vulnerabilities (such as software, both at the application level and OS). It also precisely identifies which vulnerability was found and where it was detected.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

So far, I cannot think of any negatives.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

We were after an authenticated, comprehensive webapp and cloud asset vulnerability scanner, and after testing the intruder.io platform, we found numerous positive features that make it a standout option in the marketplace.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

One potential negative of Intruder.io is the 30-day lock on moving authentication domain targets. If a user wants to switch to a new domain or target for authentication testing, they must wait for 30 days before they can do so. This limitation can be frustrating, especially if switching domains is a requirement.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assisted in pen-testing & positive vulnerabilities in deployed infrastructure.

The system is quick to understand and easy to implement systems. It's an intuitive layout and you can have scans running in minutes. The customer support has been quick to help and you're talking to real people who understand the product.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Initial pricing is a lot for smaller implementations to start off with and only really makes sense with some scale.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intruder helps us to manage our exposure externally on all varieties of systems we support. We also use the system internally to scan our production environments whether that might Linux or Windows based.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

I really like the design of the Webinterface and how easy it works with the tenable Nessus Agent.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

One thing I noticed is that when I tried to add an Agent to a Mac Device and linked the agent to intruder it unlinked itself after a while but after the second linking it stayed linked for now.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It will be our CVE scanner for all our systems to detect vulnerabilities. It will help us get the ISO 27001 Certification.

 ### 43. Easy to implement for my first time navigating new PCI requirements

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

We have a large task ahead, with changes in PCI 4.0 requiring that even sites which do not process card details directly require a level of compliance. We needed a partner who could perform compliant scans and would give our developers clear guidance on how to mitigate any issues it found. We tried out a couple of services, but Intruder came out tops, with a simple interface, easy to understand reports, plus the benefit of constant emergent threat scanning. This gives us the confidence that our web applications will remain as secure as possible in the long term. The pricing is competitive and easy to understand, plus the discounts start to kick in when scanning more than one application which will greatly reduce our costs as we manage about 35 websites which now have this requirement. I had a few questions along the way which were promptly responded to with really good advice.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

It scans for literally everything and the scans take a very long time to complete. It would be great to be able to filter the scans to look for specific issues, rather than completing a whole scan each time.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making PCI 4.0 compliance an easier process for our developers

 ### 44. Very good service, nice customer support

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Easy to use and super useful service. The UI is really nice, easy to set up even though what it does super complex.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

It would be nice if there was an option for a payed single scan instead of a monthly subscription.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a report about how vulnerable our platform is.

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Intruder is clean, powerful and incredibly easy to use. We love how comprehensive it is and how easy it is to both deploy and remediate with, based on their incredible results. Their support is also incredible, the team over there are extremely helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Can be a little pricey but they have recently introduced new offerings and made it much easier for MSSPs to use this and scale up and down accordingly, which has actually made this great.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is our go to solution for penetration testing, super comprehensive and extremely powerful.

 ### 46. Easy to use, gives you all you need to go as deep as you need

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

Easy to use, automated and accepted by certification bodies. It allows you to do scans on apps and infrastructure plus so you can go as deep as you need on your scan. Its also cool that they give you a trial where you can test it out before committing.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

The licences can be a little confusing as in applications and infrastructure are separate.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a pen test for my system to get the ISO27001

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

the emerging threats scan is great as it highlights potential emerging vulnerabilities

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

the large amount of IP addresses scans could potentially come from. Dont really want to open firewalls to large subnets

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a constant view of our external attack surface

 ### 49. This is one of the best tools

**What do you like best about Intruder?**

The automated scanning is amazing! The constant security updates and the integrations makes life easier.

**What do you dislike about Intruder?**

Sometimes the alerts are false positives for AWS cloud security monitoring. Better to be false positives than nothing though.

**What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistent pentesting. It helps us keep up with our annual SOC 2 audits.

Intruder automatically scans your systems for known vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and exposures. Intruder provides continuous monitoring and professional-grade reports you can share during client reviews or audits to demonstrate active security controls.
