InPlace Software Pricing FAQs

Is InPlace Software free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, InPlace Software does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is InPlace Software pricing best suited for?

InPlace Software's pricing, structured around custom enterprise quotes, is best suited for higher education institutions and education management organizations managing high-volume student placements. G2 reviewers span small business to enterprise segments, with the strongest satisfaction among mid-market universities and small higher education programs needing centralized placement coordination, compliance tracking, and stakeholder communication. G2 reviews of InPlace Software indicate enterprise users with large clinical or field placement programs extract the most value. InPlace Software's pricing model is less suited for organizations needing deep out-of-the-box customization, quick self-serve onboarding, or transparent per-seat costs, as the custom-quote structure favors institutions with dedicated implementation resources.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of InPlace Software?

G2's pricing data for InPlace Software shows no free tier or publicly listed paid tiers. InPlace Software operates on a custom-quote enterprise pricing model, meaning no free version exists and no standardized paid plans are published. G2 reviews of InPlace Software indicate that certain capabilities, such as alumni record retention and merging duplicate student records, are flagged as outside current costs, suggesting modular or add-on pricing exists beyond base contracts. Advanced training and additional modules like Placement Readiness appear to be separately scoped. Prospective buyers should engage InPlace Software directly for a custom quote tailored to institutional size and feature requirements.

Is InPlace Software considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of InPlace Software give it an average rating around 4.0/5, suggesting solid but not universal satisfaction. Value perception splits by use case: small business and mid-market users in higher education and education management consistently cite time savings, centralized placement data, and reduced spreadsheet dependency as strong returns. Enterprise reviewers highlight real-time collaboration and customizable assessments as premium differentiators. Detractors flag onboarding difficulties, slow feature enhancements, limited customization, and inconsistent customer support as value drains. G2 reviews of InPlace Software suggest it delivers good value for institutions with complex placement workflows, but organizations requiring deep customization or reliable implementation support may find the return less certain.

"Best there is but room for improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about InPlace Software?

We can manage most of the processes of internship management in one place. Nice database is easy to update and correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InPlace Software?

Does not retain student records. Being able to use this for alumni would be fantastic. Add that add-on, please, to roll the record to an alumni database section to maintain the records for a smaller cost to all parties. Difficult for students to generate a report of their hours to retain for future licensing. Unable to currently manage the first stages of onboarding students in INplace due to issues with adding them manually, then having them added by the system. It currently creates two records, and merging them is difficult and not included in the current costs. Advanced training for reports is slow because we need to request it. Confirming who signed off on timesheets is a problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Global University Reach with Smart Access Restrictions"
4/5
What do you like best about InPlace Software?

The global reach of it within the University is useful, while still allowing restrictions wherever needed. Most of the functionality is helpful. InFlow is the new system our Uni has started using for CPP, along with other things.

Customer Support is good in most cases, and integration is also available with other systems like Student Systems and Finance. It is not too difficult to use, and you can follow the Help Guides, as I use it every day at my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InPlace Software?

Some feature enhancements take too long to be implemented based on their priority by the vendor.

It glitches every now and then fixes itself automatically which gets frustrating sometimes. As mentioned earlier, the Customer support is good in most cases but when it's not, you never know how long it's going to take for the issue to be fixed and most of the times you don't get an explanation as to how/why the issue occurred.
