## About Infracost
Infracost is the first and the industry standard to shift FinOps left directly into the engineering workflow. It is used by over 3,000 companies, including in some of the world's largest cloud deployments. Infracost sits in your engineering workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps repos, BitBucket, etc.). When an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) change is made, it automatically posts a comment with the cost impact of the change into their workflow. It also scans all resources to ensure they abide by the FinOps tagging policy set by the central FinOps team. It also ensures the code follows best practices from the well-architected framework and FinOps policies. Customers gain two main benefits by shifting FinOps lefts: 1. Fixing issues in the engineering workflow and preventing them from entering production in the first place can save engineering time. **What do you like best about Infracost?**

I can able to get a detailed bill of the cloud services that will be created by the Terraform code that I write. It doesn't add all the resources in that script. it will exclude the services that will present in that script but not created.

**What do you dislike about Infracost?**

Still needs to improve It doesn't have some resources accurate price from my experience using it with AWS.

**What problems is Infracost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before infra cost, we wrote terraform scripts and reviewed the resources that would be created and then created them. After integrating terraform with infracost, once we write the script we can get detailed price details of th resources that we are going to create from hourly charges to monthly. it will really help us to understand the cost of our resources and save costs.
