**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Inflection is built for modern GTM teams that care about data quality, orchestration, and flexibility. Coming from Marketo, the biggest difference is how easy it is to work with your data instead of around the tool.

At Mural, we replaced Marketo with Inflection to support both PLG and enterprise motions, and Inflection made it much easier to activate signals from systems like Salesforce, Segment, and Databricks without over-engineering or custom hacks. The platform is intuitive, fast to iterate on, and clearly designed for teams operating in a composable, data-first GTM stack.

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

Inflection is intentionally opinionated and modern, which means teams coming from legacy MAPs like Marketo may need to rethink some old patterns and assumptions. If you’re expecting a one-for-one replacement of every legacy feature, there’s a learning curve in shifting toward orchestration over batch automation.

That said, the tradeoff is worth it, and the product and team are very open to feedback as the platform continues to mature.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inflection solves the problem of orchestrating the customer journey across multiple systems without turning your marketing automation platform into a brittle system of record.

At Mural, this allowed us to simplify our architecture, reduce technical debt left behind by Marketo, and move faster across acquisition, activation, expansion, and lifecycle communications. Inflection fits naturally into a warehouse-first, event-driven GTM model and enables teams to make better decisions using richer signals instead of static lists and rules.

I love how Inflection.io makes using the tool effortless, particularly with its AI capabilities that simplify building campaigns and understanding customer journeys. The integration of AI is phenomenal, adding significant value to my marketing strategies by offering deep insights into the marketing journey. This tool has notably eased the operationalization of marketing emails, which is a major advantage having managed marketing operations across multiple successful companies. Additionally, the ability to bring together multiple email systems and leverage product data from our different data tooling effectively is a standout feature. The ease of the initial setup further showcases Inflection.io’s deep understanding of data, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.

A few months ago, the AI in Inflection.io wasn't as mature as it is now, which affected its usability and functionality. However, improvements have been made recently.

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Since implementing Inflection.io early last year, we've unlocked campaign opportunities that weren’t possible with our previous tech stack. With product data integration, we can trigger highly relevant, timely email campaigns that drive strong performance for our PLG and PLS motions.

Beyond the platform itself, the Inflection team has been fantastic to work with. As a newer tool, it's constantly evolving, and the ability to request features and collaborate directly on solutions makes it feel like a true partnership.

As a newer tool, some features are still in development or require tweaks for better usability.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inflection.io is allowing us to effectively integrate our product data with our marketing campaigns (email marketing, MQL scoring, product-triggered sales notifications, etc.).

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

The platform is so easy to use—it's like they built it for us, marketers. We've been successful with creating personal campaigns that engage our audience, and the numbers bear it out: higher engagement, more leads, and a quantifiable boost in ROI.

What truly impressed me is how well it integrates with our CRM. It all just clicks, and we are seeing insights we've been struggling to obtain. And their customer support team is amazing—fast, friendly, and actually help us every time we've reached out.

Not enough features for smaller teams or simple campaigns it seems like.

Inflection solves the challenge of creating data-driven, targeted marketing campaigns with no frustrating setups. It seamlessly works with CRMs, automates workflows, and provides actionable insights, which has saved us a lot of headaches. This ultimately means for us better engagement, more converted leads, and allows us to scale campaigns effectively while focusing on strategy from real data.

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

We recently switched from our legacy marketing automation provider to Inflection.io. One of the big drivers of our switch was the ability to power our user communications based on actions users are taking in our product. After a relatively simple and efficient onboarding process to Inflection, we’ve been able to launch programs to our user unlike anything we’ve been able to do before. The value we’ve received from driving comms based on product activity data has been real and amazing.

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

The product is very new. Because it is so new, they are still ramping up on a lot of features and improvements we have become accustomed to in more legacy tools. I am super encouraged though at their fast deployment speeds as well as how they've included us along the way to give input on how these features should work. I have no doubt they will have exceeded all "standard" feature expectations very soon.

Inflection is helping us solve core operation issues in being able to leverage the data on how our customers are using our products. We can now build automations that communicate with users that are relevant to where they are in their journey. The results have been swift and immpressive.

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Inflection has enabled us to dramatically improve our trial activation, moving from time-based emails to product-event based nurtures. Our ability to engage with users at major milestones in their new-use journey has driven significant improvement in our key free-to-paid conversion metrics.

The simplicity of initial implementation and quick and easy Segment and Salesforce integrations makes time-to-value super fast. Additionally, the support we receive from the Inflection team is top notch - they are truly invested in our success and drive their product innovation towards features their customers want and need.

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

There's not much I dislike about Inflection at this point. It's a relatively new product and they're constantly updating and coming out with new features that meet our overall marketing automation needs. We're using Inflection for mostly PLG related automation at this point but with the new features that are coming out constantly, we're evaluating how we move other parts of our automation funnel over to Inflection.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inflection allows to connect with Segment and bring in all of our product activity data, which in turns allows us to customize our journeys for our customers based on the actions they're taking. The integration into Segment took no time at all and is one of the easier integrations we've been able to set up with Segment. 

We're now able to get right the message out at the right time based on specific actions taken within our product.

Inflection has enabled us to reach our customers at key milestones in their journey. Using product usage and Salesforce data, we can provide more relevant messages and resources to our customers at a point when they are most receptive. The integrations were easy to set up and the Inflection team helped us implement very quickly. 

Inflection is my favorite tool in our tech stack and I use it daily as a customer marketer because it helps me do my job more efficiently. The team is wonderful to work with and offers stellar support. They are very receptive to feedback about continuously building and improving their product for their customers.

So far, I haven't found anything I dislike about Inflection.

As a lifecycle marketer at Sauce Labs, Inflection has given me the power to reach our customers with relevant and contextual communications based on where they are in the adoption of our product. Sitting on heaps of product data, I can tailor messages to a user based on what they have done (or maybe more importantly, what they haven’t done) in the product. No more spray and pray communications!

Finally, a MAP built for PLG companies with scale!
Inflection has impressed with its overall platform flexibility and ability to meet the needs of our high-growth company! Specifically, the direct integrations with Snowflake, Segment and Salesforce have improved, while simplifying, our data process. Inflections core data model makes sense for PLG companies and has enabled quick implementation and onboarding. Plus, the pricing model aligns well for PLG companies with high trial volume.

I couldn’t be happier with the Inflection platform and the support I get from the team thus far! Looking forward to continued growth on the platform - onwards!

Being a new company, some quality of life features are missing. However, they don't stop Inflection from being a super powerful tool.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inflection is solving our problem of getting direct access to our product data. This gives us more data to connect with our customers with more relevant information. 

In addition, due to the way pricing works with Inflection, we have the ability to connect with our entire database. We are only charged for the number of customers we connect with on a monthly basis. This model just makes more sense for a software org.

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Inflection.io is an incredibly dynamic, feature rich solution for PLG communication that's easy to use and has an awesome team supporting it. 

Switching over from Marketo, I had my reservations, but it didn't take long to throw them out the window.  Features, functionality, implementation - working with their team and the tool made this switch very smooth.

Their pricing structure makes so much more sense for PLG organizations than traditional database size MAP pricing. Without worrying about database size, there are no throttles to the product growth you can aim for.

Easily integrated with Segment.

This tool will go far.

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

Inflection.io is not built to support your traditional outbound demand generation email strategy. Smaller, more pin-point behavioural communiction are the bread and butter here however they have recently offered access to limited, higher volume sends to support something like a newsletter. You won't be able to blast your database with Inflection.io but hey should you really be doing that anyway?

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inflection.io helped us power highly contextual, reactive product-led communication with our users. Purpose-built for PLG communication, we could stop paying for middleman tech solutions that integrated our Segment data with Marketo. Big tech-stack savings for better PLG functionality. No brainer.

Driving communications to high valued users has been a game changer for Tapcart. The ability to drive highly contextual emails to power users in our product has fundamentally changed the way we execute referral request outreach. The set up was simple and the results have been tremendous!

We made the investment in Inflection with the medium-term goal in time to consolidate our existing marketing automation stack into this platform. This will likely take a tad longer than I expected.

Partnering with Inflection has been terrific! Access to product activity data has enabled Stack Moxie to deliver highly relevant communications to our users. We send weekly usage recap emails to our customers, which continually reinforces the value users are getting from our service. Additionally, we have transitioned our new user onboarding communications from Marketo to Inflection, which has enabled us to drive emails based on product activity. Inflection has been a total game changer!

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Inflection integrates seamlessly with Segment to allow me to take action on the events my product users are completing. Inflection allows me to intelligently communicate with end users to craft onboarding and adoption sequences that drive increased growth.  The email building wizard is easy to use and tokens are powerful drivers of additional data. 

We automated a process a human on my team was doing for 8 hours a week into a recurring email. No more manually building reports, now users get it automatically in a weekly digest. Thanks Inflection!

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

As Inflection's first customer, Stack Moxie were alpha build partners for figuring out how a lot of super nerdy things worked. We didn't always find the best way to do it the first time, but don't worry, we figured out better ways and you'll never get to experience the things I've disliked about Inflection.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We talk a lot about Product Ah Has. What are the meaningful moments a user has where they understand how Stack Moxie will meaningfully impact their business. Inflection now has the capabilities to be a core driver of those Ah Ha journeys. In conjunction with our in-app experiences, Inflection handles the external communications with our users to drive them back into the product and with higher adoption. Stack Moxie > Inflection > Candu > Segment all working together to maintain a single unified product experience for our clients. A super win.

**What do you like best about Inflection.io?**

Inflection.io took most of what was in our manual processes and data manipulation and added it to timely, relevant emails to our users.  This information is critical for our users understanding the value of the product, converting to paying users.  It simply wasn't possible with the other tools on the market.

**What do you dislike about Inflection.io?**

We were super early, so we've kicked down some walls together.  That said, it is one of the better things - as we've had challenges in usability or function, Inflection has been an awesome partner.

**What problems is Inflection.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PLG communications.  When a free user uses our product, how do we show them how many fails they had, how much time it saved their marketing operations team, and how much value in lost leads or broken campaigns.  Iflection aggregates it and represents it.

We can reach customers faster and re-engage our new customers through a valuable channel - email.

Reporting and analyzing the results of our experiments/initiatives is very important to me. Some manual work is required to pull data from Inflection right now, but I know good things are on the roadmap!

The user interface is clean and intuitive, making navigating through the data and the email builder super easy. The tool offers a variety of ways to customize your approach to creating onboarding email content tailored to fit your customers and prospects.

Super flexible filters and personalization. Intuitive enough for anyone to use but powerful enough to take advantage of all your data.

Working through some specific needs for account to user relationships. The team is super open to feedback.

Inflection runs all our onboarding and trial communications. So easy for me to experiment and optimize for conversion. Way more flexible than using our support tool for communications.

I am now playing with some milestone type campaigns to drive adoption and plan to move our customer newsletter over.
