# What are the strategic benefits of working with authorized Oracle resellers for teams looking to streamline operations?

Reviews focus on delivery and relationship more than the buy-versus-direct math, so that trade-off is open. In the Oracle resellers category, three surface most: Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, and Capgemini. And did it actually streamline operations, or add a layer?

After analyzing the Oracle Resellers category on G2, the buy-versus-direct math the post leaves open is genuinely the crux, and reviews describing relationship quality and delivery discipline don't really answer it, since a reseller can deliver beautifully and still not be the cheaper or simpler path compared to going direct.

Single point of accountability is the strategic benefit that shows up most clearly in what reviewers actually describe, vendor coordination and procurement load being taken off the buyer's plate, which is a real streamlining benefit distinct from pricing. Whether that convenience is worth an added layer probably depends on how much in-house Oracle expertise the buying team already has, since a team with deep Oracle knowledge internally gets less marginal value from a reseller's coordination role than a team without it. The honest answer to the post's own closing question is probably that it adds a layer that's worth it, specifically when the coordination burden it removes exceeds whatever premium comes with going through a reseller instead of direct.
