Ideawake makes our efforts directed at continuous improvement transparent from ideation to actualization. Everyone in the organization can contribute, and it leaves little room for doubt and speculation about where an initiative is in the actualization pipeline or who owns it at any given stage. What problems is Ideawake solving and how is that benefiting you?

When we ran our annual campaign to solicit big ideas for our organization, we would get many submissions that were identical (or nearly identical). No one could respond to submissions to get clarity or offer ideas for refinement. The process was basically over when a contributor pressed "submit". Ideawake is not just about gathering ideas but about starting a conversation at all levels of the organization. Ideawake is not only an exceptional application for idea management, but it can also be leveraged for other initiatives, such as hackathons or even initial project intake when other systems might already be in play. Our company uses this primarily to share ideas for improvement. I can definitely see what others have done, but most of the tabs lead me to other websites, which is annoying. I also can't seem to add anything new, which might not be the product so much as how my company uses it. I don't like being redirected to different websites to complete a task. What do you like best about Ideawake?

From the initial "interview" with the Ideawake team to see if they could meet our needs, I knew we'd found a partner in success rather than just another SaaS offering to spend money on. There was willingness to walk through what we hoped to get out of the tool and create a implementation which satisfied our goals. What do you like best about Ideawake?

Ideawake has excellent customer service. We receive individualized instruction and troubleshooting regularly. Whenever we have questions outside of normally scheduled calls, responses are received very quickly, typically within 24 hours. The platform is very easy to use and customize to whatever our needs are for that use case. The platform integrates with SSO and our IT security. What do you dislike about Ideawake?

Use on devices other than a computer (e.g., tablets or phones) can be tricky at times because there is no app. Screen size can impact ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ideawake solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been able to customize Ideawake to meet a variety of needs. It is currently used to submit performance improvement ideas, which are executed and posters of the results are submitted for various symposia. The projects (and posters of results) are then judged in the platform. In-person symposia are held and winners are announced there. Those that cannot attend events can view the projects in Ideawake, which has been approved for awarding CEUs to virtual attendees. We use it crowdsource ideas and feedback/comments on a particular idea, gather staff survey data, and collect outside vendor data. The platform has been very adaptable and customizable to meet our needs. This makes us much more efficient and allows us to get feedback from employees across our enterprise, located in several different states. We have used it to judge symposia, which allows for judges to be located across the enterprise and for individuals to judge who could not attend the in-person presentations. We are getting ready to use it to recruit innovative ideas from employees and get those employees into our facilities to turn their ideas into prototypes and other real world use products.
