The actual concept behind it is rather ingenious and I was anxious to begin using it. I am still using it because it continues to be beneficial to me. There really aren't any reasons for not wanting to use it. **What do you dislike about IconJar?** I think it could be better. But like everything else, nothing is ever perfect and IconJar isn't an exception. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see a way to contact the company to offer them suggestions on what users find could be changed for it to run better. If the option is available to users, maybe make it more obvious? **Recommendations to others considering IconJar:** Try it and see what happens. You will never know if this will benefit you until you give it a shot. **What problems is IconJar solving and how is that benefiting you?** The original reason behind and for wanting to use IconJar was to benefit from it each day. However, days go by in which I don't use it. So therefore I find that it doesn't help me every day. But the benefits behind it help me enough to want to continue using it - even if it's just once or twice a week. ### 2. The open in Illustrator button is really handy as I often need to edit our icons. **What do you dislike about IconJar?** A cloud version would be great, so all the designers in the team could be working off the same library. **What problems is IconJar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not wasting my time trying to track down icons on Google Drive! ### 3. It's simple, fast, and easy to use. You can upload all of your files, and then easily search the tags and preview them in the viewer. **What do you dislike about IconJar?** While IconJar is simple and easy to use, the library backup functionality can often be slow. Depending on how many icons you have, it can take up to an hour to finish backing up your files. Even after you've created a backup file, you have to be careful where you place it otherwise IconJar may not be able to locate it, and you'll have to reimport the file. **Recommendations to others considering IconJar:** IconJar is a onetime purchase, so you don't have to commit to any type of subscription. If you're not using any other tool to manage your icons, then get IconJar. It will be worth the investment. In addition, if you are a student, then you get the student discount offered on the IconJar website. **What problems is IconJar solving and how is that benefiting you?** IconJar allows me find all the icons I need for each project I am working on. In addition, I can add tags to my icons so I can easily search them and find the right icon when starting a new project. This has saved me lots of time as I no longer have to scan through Sketch files to find my icons. ### 4. Its a much-needed app/tool for anyone that works in design or product development. The export option to any size icon has literally saved my dozens of hours! **What do you dislike about IconJar?** Search layout could be a little better.
