# Which considerations matter more for ISVs listing products on AWS Marketplace vs. enterprise buyers procuring through it?

I'm trying to separate what matters for ISVs listing products on AWS Marketplace from what matters for enterprise buyers procuring through it, since those are pretty different vantage points on the same platform. Same caveat as before: the category is a mixed bag of unrelated products, so I don't have clean reviewer evidence split cleanly by seller versus buyer perspective, but here's what shows up from each side.

Okta reviewers, mostly on the buyer side, cite centralized authentication and enhanced security as the reason for adoption, with ease of deployment coming up more than pricing or listing mechanics.

MuleSoft Anypoint Platform reviewers similarly focus on integration capabilities and multi-cloud support once procured, rather than anything about how the purchase moved through the marketplace itself.

For anyone who's listed a product as an ISV on AWS Marketplace, what part of that process looks nothing like a direct sale, and for buyers, did procuring through the marketplace actually save you steps compared to going straight to the vendor?

Oh Resolver is the standout here for compliance and internal investigations specifically, well-rated and built for case management, evidence tracking and reporting on internal incidents (HR, ethics, fraud), which is exactly the "growing team with complex needs" scenario since it scales from simple case intake to structured workflows as your caseload grows. If your investigations lean more toward eDiscovery and legal-hold work rather than internal HR/compliance cases, Relativity and Logikcull are the heavily reviewed names in that adjacent space, though that's a different kind of investigation (litigation-driven) than internal compliance. To be real, "complex needs" usually means custom workflows, role-based access and audit trails, so I'd specifically test Resolver's workflow configuration against one of your messier real cases before committing. Are these investigations mostly internal HR/ethics cases, or do they involve legal discovery and outside counsel?
