On top of this I can use different export formats –PDF, JPG, PNG– to adapt my material to the communication channels I use most. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** I only wish Easel.ly had a wider variety of professional fonts; otherwise I have not encountered any obstacles while using it. **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating infographics can sometimes feel daunting but Easel.ly transforms that process into a creative opportunity and allows me to produce materials that generate more interaction with the ideas and information I want to convey in my presentations and advertising format essays. ### 2. The turnarond time is fairly quick. I have had very few problems with the designs I have ordered. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** When a mistake is made in a design, the chat feedback will not answer your question about who did the design. The chat people and owner are defensive, do not listen well when you are providing feedback, and are suprisingly not very customer oriented when they mess up a design. Shaun was the designer that has done good work for us and then botched one. A simple positive response could have been..."Hey, we totally messed that up and we know it ended up costing you $450. While we can't undo it, you have been a customer who has sent us 600+ designs and we would love to send you a few free credits as a thank you for your loyalty and as a sincere desire to own our part of this error." That was not the response I got. The owner acted like I was trying to pass all the blame when I clearly stated that we should have caught the design mistake and we have owned 100% of the expense. All I asked was the name of the designer so that we could make sure he isn't on a future project, especially since they accept 0% of the financial responsibility for butchering a design. **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** The provide paid graphic design services. ### 3. You can do many things with this one app. I have recently made something fun, and it was relatively quickly done i only spent 10 minutes, and I believe it is representable to close people around you **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** There isn't anything to dislike about Easel. It is easy to use, and premium is cheap for only one individual at only 2$, but I think if they add a more diverse variety of art styles to match different messages people are trying to go with, it would be better **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easel has helped me make various presentations that have given me a 'passing grade' (acceptable). Free designs are basic but can help you out in a jam. Love the readiness of the staff to help out! It brought my infographic game from an F to an A++. The upsides of using Easel.ly are numerous—it’s like infographics for dummies. You can re-adapt designs over and over again to get more bang for your buck and save you time. It wasn’t easy at the beginning, but there is a pretty sharp learning curve and once you’ve got it, you’ve got it. The tutorial videos do help. The animated infographics look awesome—I haven’t had the need to use them in my work but have earmarked that service for some story ideas I have. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** Pricing a little high—be prepared to spend for upscale products— takes time to get the hang of it. Hate that not all the elements in an infographic are editable. Also, there are so many similar infographics out there because lots of people use Easel.ly...perhaps the company could create more templates or lock a template after so many iterations? Also, there aren’t very many icons or fonts compared to Adobe and other programs. Easel.ly needs to provide more of those. **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I created an infographic series as an independent journalist. I was inexperienced at infographic creation—Easel.ly made it simpler and it looked gorgeous. I didn’t know how to make an infographic when I started—I didn’t even know what an infographic was. Thank god for this program, as it saved my butt often, especially in the beginning. Lots of templates to choose from make transporting your information fun and stretch your creativity. It wasn’t just that the content looked prettier—Easel.ly inspired me to create new written content based on graphical ideas. I found the sales team to be incredibly friendly and responsive when I had questions. I liked the free version very much and was frustrated when I kept bumping into sales opportunities on the site, but I know that’s how they make money, so... The platform also uses customizable charts with options for labels, rows, columns, and values.To ensure the proper alignment of images and graphic properties, you can switch to grid view—super helpful. ### 5. I like that I can easily log in with Gmail or Facebook, I like that it has several options to create animated infographics this is useful to capture the attention of the reader, I have used Easel.ly, in my organization already that we are constantly training ourselves and we need a simple way to transmit data and information in the form of an infographic. Something I like is that it has a good user experience, even for Basic users. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** I really have no complaints, so far I am satisfied with what they offer. **Recommendations to others considering Easel.ly:** I have used easel.lly for over a year, and I can say that it is a cheap alternative that offers many options to create infographics, the premium version is obviously better since it has more tools. **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the better user experience and to have more options, I recommend the pro version since it allows you to download the infographics in more available formats, such as PNG, JPG, and PDF, among others. Another interesting thing I find on Ease.ly is that, if you don't have time or ideas to create an infographic they can create one for you for a reasonable price, this option is something that I have not seen on other platforms to create infographics, it is something innovated on your part. ### 7. The easy way to make suggested changes is very helpful, being able to select a particular are of the graphic and make comments about that section. Subsequent turnaround time on edits was also quick and very responsive to the suggestions made. Incorporation of our brand colors made the infographic sharp. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** Certainly, when you already know what you want represented in an infographic (data sets, etc) Easel.ly makes for an efficient way to get great results. If you are in the IDEA stage, it may be harder to give them the information they need to work with in a way that meets your expectation. The designers did a good job of making all of the colors work together well. I love that they have a very easy system to recommend edits. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** The only issue that I had was the fact that they wrote exactly word for word what you wrote in the form without making sure the words/sentences flowed together. I signed up for the "7-day free trial" and knew within a matter of hours I did not like the program. Very awkward trying to space things when making a custom design. I ended up switching to a different, free program where I completed the spacing correctly in a fraction of time. Also, very limited selection of fonts, I would expect many more fonts for a paid version. **What do you dislike about Easel.ly?** The biggest problem I have is that they are not honoring the 7-day free trial. I have even tried shutting my account down completely and it does not cancel and refund my money. I have contacted customer service 3 times and have received no replies. **Recommendations to others considering Easel.ly:** I would go elsewhere, the lack of customer response and no ability to actually cancel during your 7-day free trial make this program cost a lot of money just to try out for a few hours. **What problems is Easel.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying out Easel.ly was a problem for me, now a have a $40 bill that was supposed to be refundable within 7 days for a progra,m I hated so much I will never use again.
