It&#39;s the upload-and-wait workflow when optimization sits in the wrong place. The setups that survive a breaking-news day optimize on delivery, not on upload, so nothing ever blocks a photo going live. Consistency at volume then comes free, because every image passes through the same transformation rules. If your CMS optimizes at upload, I&#39;d change that before comparing vendors.&lt;/p&gt;
