"Seamless Integration and Enhanced Workflow Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about IBM Process Mining?

I have been using IBM Process Mining for about a year to optimize financial transactions and it has significantly improved workflow transparency and enhanced overall operational performance. I appreciate the tool for the deep visibility it provides into business workflows and financial processes, making it a comprehensive choice. The seamless integration with existing IBM and third-party systems, along with its intuitive visuals, sets it apart from other vendors. The initial setup process was smooth and connecting to data sources was easy for us, aided by IBM's thorough documentation and pilot testing. IBM Process Mining excels at bottleneck identification, effectively highlighting delays and redundancies, which simplifies the process of pinpointing slowdowns. This capability has led to faster transaction processing and improved accuracy by 10%. Additionally, I find the bottleneck and variant analysis incredibly useful. The integration with Oracle also works seamlessly, further enhancing my workflow. These features are part of the reasons I would consider repurchasing the software. I find the simulations and 'what if' simulations in IBM Process Mining needing improvement. This aspect is important for more accurately assessing potential outcomes and exploring various scenarios, which is crucial for decision-making processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Process Mining?

While using IBM Process Mining, I liked its AI features while dealing with shortage of ideas during analysis of data, it helped me in getting good recommendations and even helped me in getting good visualized or predicting data accurately which made things a bit easier for me. It has also helped me in solving and some brainstorming decisions which helped me in getting the required output. In doing this, there was a risk, the risk whether the decision is correct or would be a loss for me but I am happy to say that whatsoever till date I did with its help, it has done perfectly reducing the key risks and offers freedom to do with decision taken earlier. What do you dislike about IBM Process Mining?

There is not much to say about my disliking about this product, I heard that while setting this product, it's a bit complex as it relies heavily on high quality, complete and consistent event log data and to maintain smooth functioning, it demands a lot of efforts. Along with it, there comes the budget-related issue as it requires a good amount of investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool has more notable features than disadvantages or bad functions, but it is important to remember that it is a tool for professionals who have worked with a similar tool since it can be somewhat complicated for some, and it does not have much customization. I like it because it is a tool that adapts to current business process standards, greatly facilitates segmentation thanks to its bottleneck system, and also has automation processes to increase operational efficiency when working with large quantities of information, the interface of this tool is not complicated or heavy when it comes to integrating with other tools necessary for each management, and it also understands that times change so it constantly performs updates that I consider are necessary in any similar tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a very low learning curve getting to work with IBM Process Mining.

The second advantage is, that the ETL is not inherit bound to the product. You can use your own ETL tool for getting the data into ProcessMining Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Process Mining?

The analytics part is not the best.

We need more effective analytics features such as custom dashboard monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A must have tool as a PMO!"

What do you like best about IBM Process Mining?

I love how easy it was to get started with Process Mining. Integration went smoothly. I still remember the transitional period and how I was apprehensive initially. However, getting started so was easy and I especially love the fluid UI. Unlike most of enterprise solutions, Process Mining was really easy to get started. All the essential information like my charts were very easy to visualize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Process Mining?

Not much expect that it was a little harder for us to justify the cost of procuring the solution. That's the only downside we would love to be addressed in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
