## iWave Reviews
 ### 1. iWave: Reliable Prospect Research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine L. | Research and Prospect Analytics Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

The amount of data available for prospect research is one of iWave’s biggest strengths. iWave is one of the most widely used and reliable resources when I’m conducting prospect research, and it’s always a tool I turn to during my research process. The database is fairly easy to use and navigate, which makes it practical for day-to-day work. I also sometimes find information on iWave that I can’t find elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I’ve noticed data discrepancies between what iWave lists and what the source shows, especially around gift information. For example, iWave may list a gift as an annual gift, while the source indicates it was a cumulative gift. I’ve also seen similar mismatches with gift amounts. I also noticed that iWave doesn't not include all gifts. There are gifts I come across in the news that is not included in iWave results.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Locating information for prospect research. iWave is also a constantly used resources when locating contact information for prospects.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Jasmine,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad iWave is a reliable resource for your prospect research and that it’s helping you locate valuable information.

We appreciate your feedback on data discrepancies and will share this with our team as we work to improve accuracy.

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

 ### 2. iWave Helps Us Build Our Major Donor Pipeline

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley B. | Sr Manager of Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

We are a new organization, so we are building out our funder pipeline - including foundations, corporate, and individuals. I use this platform a lot at different periods of time when I'm working on prospecting.

We have used iWave to build our prospect list, which has lead to a few good leads as we build out our individual giving program. It's also been useful in finding contact information for corporate and foundations folks. From some of these lists, we did an email campaign series last year and figured out who was opening our emails, we were then able to utilize the screening feature to get more wealth screening information. This did help us strategize our approaches for 2026.

Customer support is always very quick to respond which I really appreciate.

Further, we pay four our members subscriptions. Many of them find the tool helpful for screening current donors; however, they have had also had issues with building out prospect lists.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Contact information is sparse and often incorrect, even with the new Appends feature. As a new organization building out our major donor pipeline, we really need good, solid contact information. The prospect listing has also not been helpful in narrowing down our search for folks that support abortion. One of the reasons we chose this platform over others was that we could narrow down the filers, but when we narrow down no donors appear.

The tool hasn't been lucrative in building out an extensive new pipeline of foundations or corporations.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building out our individual pipeline, so this has been a great tool for finding donors to support our work.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled iWave has helped you build your funder pipeline and strategize for 2026. It’s great to hear features like prospecting and wealth screening have supported your efforts, and we’re glad our customer support team has been helpful.

We appreciate your feedback on contact information and search filters—it’s valuable as we work to improve the platform.

Thanks for being part of the iWave community!

 ### 3. Comprehensive Data Synthesis for Fundraisers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I value the comprehensive data iWave provides, which synthesizes different pieces of information on donors and prospects. I actively use it as a chief development officer, and it's great for identifying new prospects and assessing the capacity of existing donors. I appreciate the ability to customize the contract for good value for money. It's comprehensive for various industries, and our team uses it across the enterprise with success. I find iWave to be intuitive with a comprehensive set of resources for training, and the client success manager is really accessible for onboarding and individual training.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

As a Canadian user researching Canadian donors and entities, we have less access to information compared to some other clients. This is a common issue across all tools in the sector.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave to synthesize donor and prospect data, helping to identify capacity, affinity, and specific roles like corporate social responsibility leaders quickly. It's a comprehensive tool that solves practical fund-raising challenges efficiently, across all phases of the donor pipeline.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Jon,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled iWave is helping you synthesize donor and prospect data and efficiently solve fundraising challenges.

We appreciate your feedback on Canadian data access and will share this with our team as we work to improve.

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

 ### 4. Instrumental for Screening, But Needs Better Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I use iWave for screening my donor database and building out my major gift pipeline. iWave helps me quickly segment new prospects and prioritize them as I surface them for our major gift officers. It has been instrumental for our organization, especially since our donor database is primarily our alumni. I'm able to use internal giving data with iWave's screening processes, which enhances iWave's analytics. It also offers cultivation techniques and engagement ideas that are beneficial not only for our major gift officers but for other departments as well, to engage and educate our graduate community.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I don't like how I had to learn on my own about changes to the screening template because there wasn't a notification through email. This lack of communication and timing wasted some of my time, even though the screenings were refunded. I also found the knowledge base library not very intuitive to navigate, needing to open multiple tabs. It just wasn't very easy, leading to hits and misses while figuring out how to fully leverage iWave.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave to screen my donor database and build my major gift pipeline. It helps me quickly segment and prioritize new prospects for our major gift officers, leveraging internal giving data to enhance analytics and offering engagement ideas for our team.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Amy,

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad iWave has been helpful in building your major gift pipeline and supporting your team with segmentation and engagement ideas.

We appreciate your input on communication around updates and the knowledge base navigation. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll share it with our team to improve the experience.

Thanks for being part of the iWave community!

 ### 5. Keep rockin', iWave!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

iWave's VeriGift function is fantastic, and the exportability of foundation gifts as well is very helpful. I also absolutely love the screening options before each screening - it's thoughtful and very helpful to be able to change those ratings based on the purpose of each particular screening/project. That's huge.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Their Foundations data is about a year behind oftentimes. It's still more current than the competition, but having to go elsewhere for 2024 Forms 990 and add those gifts manually for my team has been cumbersome. Also the orange-y format and thin lettering is a lot harder to read than their previous version.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave is a time-saver through and through, and it's confidence ratings allow me to work efficiently and have better judgment about the work at hand. Its VeriGift capabilities are unmatched. Also, iWave's format structures, like the columns and filters available, pay attention to what matters without weighing down the work. It's very thoughtful and clear. It also benefits me by making so much of its data exportable to Excel. This allows me the flexbility to build my projects easily to the structures within my organization. That's huge.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for your enthusiastic review! We’re thrilled to hear how much you value iWave’s VeriGift function, screening options, and export capabilities. It’s great to know these features are helping you save time, work efficiently, and tailor projects to your organization’s needs.

We appreciate your feedback on the Foundations data and formatting. Your insights are incredibly helpful as we continue to refine and improve.

Thanks for your support and for being part of the iWave community—we'll keep rockin’, you keep rollin'!

 ### 6. Enhances Donor Prospecting with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KristinAnn J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I use iWave for donor prospecting and research. It helps me find more information about donors and easily discover new prospects. I really like the Smart Sheet feature, which we use the most, along with Smart Search. Smart Search allows us to quickly and easily find new donor prospects along with their contact info. Additionally, the initial setup of iWave was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

It's not so easy to find emails for certain people and to also search funders of specific organizations. It would also be helpful to have a plugin for other CRMs like Raiser's Edge so that we can directly import people.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave for donor prospecting and research. It helps me find more information about donors and easily find new prospects. The Smart Search feature allows me to quickly and easily find new donor prospects along with their contact info.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi KristinAnn,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad iWave’s Smart Sheet and Smart Search features are making donor prospecting easier and that the setup process was smooth for you.

We appreciate your feedback on email availability and CRM plugins. Good news, we do have a Raiser's Edge Integration: https://kindsight.io/integrations/, please feel free to explore that with your Client Success Manager!

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

Best regards,
The Kindsight Team

 ### 7. Powerful Donor Insights but Clunky Data Upload

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I really like that once you're inside an iWave screening, it does a great job of getting in-depth information about donors. I appreciate that it provides kind of a global perspective on donor behavior, both politically and in terms of charitable donations. Once you upload data, iWave helps find a lot of useful information about those donors and can find comparable donors who exist in the same market space.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

In order to do an upload for iWave, you have to put the information in a very specific format, and it's not the format that your CRM or donor management platform will spit it out in. So that's really the only point of friction with the software. It's a little bit of a pain.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave to access high-quality donor data for our nonprofit clients, enhancing our communication with them.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for your kind words! We’re thrilled iWave is helping you gain valuable donor insights and enhance communication.

We appreciate your feedback on the data upload process and are always working to improve.

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

Best regards,
The Kindsight Team

 ### 8. Exceptional Onboarding and Comprehensive Data Streamline Prospecting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I really appreciate the exceptional onboarding experience with iWave. The platform is very easy to use and they have really great customer service. I also find the data inputs incredibly comprehensive, providing accurate and up-to-date information essential for prospect building. Having all the data in one place is incredibly important, eliminating the need to manage individual subscriptions to databases like Database USA or ZoomInfo. The connection components are useful for understanding board relationships and connections, which adds significant value.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I ran into some platform glitches, but the customer service team was immediately alerted, and the problem was solved.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave for researching existing prospects and building prospect lists across different regions. It helps with collaboration and ensures my team is aligned in identifying and prioritizing prospects.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Sara,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled iWave’s onboarding experience and comprehensive data are helping streamline your prospecting efforts.

We appreciate your feedback on platform glitches and are glad our customer service team was able to assist quickly.

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

Best regards,
The Kindsight Team

 ### 9. Exceptional Team and Product That Continues To Grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lia F. | Prospect Development & Research Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I think the Kindsight/iWave team is the absolute best. Their product is amazing but every interaction I've had with the team has always been very professional, helpful and kind.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

There are a few features I wish were in certain areas of the program. Like the new custom fields in the screening section, I wish I could see those in the profile section. I wish I could better edit the PDF version of iWave profiles to include certain aspects and not others - there are often so many blank or almost blank pages of the PDF that I know my team will stop scrolling there.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adding the custom fields was great! My customer success rep has mentioned she'd share my idea about making the PDFs of each profile more refined in their design, too.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Lia,

Thanks so much for your positive words. So pleased that the team has been professional, helpful, and kind throughout your iWave journey! Thank you for your feedback regarding custom fields in screening, we have passed along that feedback to our product team for future consideration.

Thanks so much for being part of our community.

Warmly,
The Kindsight Team

 ### 10. Great Tool for Prospect Research and Creative Prospecting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2021

**What do you like best about iWave?**

iWave is fairly intuitive and easy to navigate. I appreciate the integration with our database for quick access to scores. I need to explore the Connections section of iWave, but like the idea behind it in finding potential pathways to prospects/donors.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

For Alerts on specific prospects, it would be nice to be able designate an email address that we could have those automatically sent to - So MGO Mary is the relationship manager for John and Susan Smith then I could indicate MGO Mary's email address for where the alerts on the Smiths would be sent. When using the Donations Recipient search, it would be nice to be able to be able to see the donor's city/state location in the results list - this would be useful when finding prospects that have donated to another environment/conservation focused organization but live in a specific geography that we may be interested in connecting with prospects/donors.
I do not like that the login situation was changed mid contract. Being able to have two concurrent people logged in is far more useful for our organization and having it changed to only two logins period is NOT ideal. We are a smaller nonprofit and having to pay for additional logins is not ideal. This is a BIG detractor for me.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very useful starting point for determining a research wealth capacity and finding contact information. It can also be useful in doing funding scans for projects.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for your review! You've provided great feedback that I will pass along!

 ### 11. Intuitive, Industry-Leading Data with Unmatched Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faith D. | Development Database & Annual Fund Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

iWave is intuitive to use, widely recognized as have the best overall information in the industry, and the customer support is unmatched. It's also very easy to connect to our database. We've been using it more and more.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Occasionally, finding phone numbers for individuals is buried in different data sources. You must look carefully at each potential record for contact information.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave is helping us sift through more prospects than can be reviewed manually, it's providing verification of data gleaned in person, and it's a great resource for contact information.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Faith,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled iWave is intuitive to use and provides you with industry-leading data and unmatched customer support.

We appreciate your feedback on contact information and will share this with our team as we continue to improve.

 ### 12. User-Friendly Platform with Amazing Support from Daniel and Brittany

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie R. | Executive Director, ShareHouse Foundation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

The platform seems very user friendly. Also, the people that I have worked with so far, Daniel and Brittany have been amazing at helping me with any questions I have.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

As of right now, I don't see any downsides.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave is helping me find new donors, therefore increasing my overall donor base. Also, iWave is helping me find "the right" donors who may be interested in our cause. I am able to see what these donors have donated to in the past and what their capacity is for donating.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Julie,

 ### 13. Empowers Prospecting with Unique Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zahra M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I like that the user interface is generally friendly and straightforward, which makes it more likely for me to use it correctly. I also appreciate the unique giving records and emails for giving contacts that aren't found elsewhere. This helps me find information that would be more challenging to find otherwise.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Sometimes when there is a common name for a person, foundation, or corporate, there are too many results, and they cannot be filtered or exported due to the number. I also wish there were more precise giving numbers rather than ranges. And I wish that more emails for contacts were more available and updated.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave helps me find contacts to reach the right people, optimizes resource use, and determines ask amounts.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Zahra,

Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad iWave’s user-friendly interface and unique giving records are helping you find valuable donor information.

We appreciate your feedback on filtering and email availability and will share this with our team for future improvements.

Thanks for being a valued part of the iWave community!

Best regards,
The Kindsight Team

 ### 14. Efficient Donor Research and Data Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I like that iWave allows me to search multiple reliable data sources in one place and then save and share my data with colleagues. I also find it very helpful for Salesforce data hygiene, especially for managing accounts and contacts. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I have no complaints about the software. I do miss being able to share licenses by having a limit on concurrent logins. iWave recently adopted a one license per user policy.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave for donor research and data verification in our Salesforce database. It allows me to find accurate donor data, search reliable sources in one place, and maintain data hygiene, making it easier to save and share findings with my colleagues.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad iWave supports your donor research and data hygiene needs. It’s great to hear the platform’s ease of use and reliable data sources are benefiting your team.

We appreciate your note on the licensing policy and will share it with our team.

Thanks for being part of the iWave community!

 ### 15. Efficient Donor Evaluation with Seamless Integration

I like that I can connect iWave to Bonterra, which makes things more seamless for me. I also appreciate that it can run automatically, reducing my time spent evaluating donors. The initial setup was easy, which was a big plus. I think the rating took me a while to understand, but now that I have the hang of it, I love it!

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I think the rating took me a while to understand, but now that I have the hang of it, I love it!

 ### 16. User-Friendly Prospect Weighting and Salesforce Integration, but Duplicates and Exports Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

I like that we can base our weight of a prospect, based on our mission and goals. I find the the multi-lense - letting us see if someone is better suited for major giving or long term planned giving. I find it very user friendly. And I like its intergration with Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Name challenges, and duplicates. Although I feel this can be am issue with any, Export restrictions are annoying.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that we can use Iwave for prospect reserach, and that we can automate the screening process. I like the Live profiles, this is very important to have update donor information. I like that it is customizable to our non-profit.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your feedback. We hear you on name changes and duplicates, and are continuously working to improve iWave's ease-of-use. If you’d like, we’d love to discuss any areas where we can better support you. Please reach out!

**Reviewed by:** Kimberley H. | Director, Prospect Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about iWave?**

iWave is a fantastic resource for financial, board, external philanthropy and political giving which helps me identify traits in constituents I am reviewing.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

When I try to put in the city "Studio City" iWave does not recognize that city, however when I get US Real Estate, it will show me homes in Studio City. I also wish I could use county as a filter instead of just city and state.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave helps me find additional homes that I might not be aware of that are owned by constituents or companies or board memberships that I might not otherwise know. The layout is easy to use.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Kimberley,

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. Happy to hear that iWave is helping you uncover traits, real estate, and more! Thank you for your feedback regarding city and country fields, we have passed this along to our product team.

Because there's so many features, it can be a little cumbersome to use at times. 'Option Paralysis' comes to mind.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's always tough to find new prospective donors, and it's common to have very little information on high-capacity individuals. iWave eases that stress by providing accurate, up-to-date info on individuals when there otherwise may not be anything available otherwise.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled that iWave’s rich donor insights and excellent customer support are helping you uncover new information about prospective donors. It’s great to hear that you’re discovering new features and finding value in the data we provide.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Some of the “bells and whistles” can feel overwhelming, and at times they seem unnecessary.

iWave is our primary source for wealth information, and it has also become a crucial resource for finding email addresses and phone numbers.

 ### 24. I'm the prospect researcher for our Institution and use iWave toward this end.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

The best features of iWave are the dashboard segmentation with built in "approaches" and the recent customer support.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

The least helpful thing about iWave is the fact that the algorithm heavily weights real estate in its capacity score. While this may be helpful for planned giving, it is not very useful for cash giving.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave is helping qualify our enormous amount of new donors. This is a key part of our workflows, moving people from annual fund level giving to mid level giving to major giving to planned giving.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve found value in iWave’s dashboard segmentation and customer support.

We understand your concerns about the algorithm’s weighting of real estate in capacity scores. Your input is valuable, and we’ll share it with our team as we work to improve the platform to better meet your needs.

If you’d like to discuss further, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

 ### 25. User-Friendly with Seamless Salesforce Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marceen . | Director Of Development Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

IWave is very user-friendly, which makes it easy to navigate. I enjoy the ready-made templates; they're quite helpful. But the greatest benefit I find is its integration with our CRM, Salesforce, which streamlines our workflow.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

Sometimes it is challenging to narrow down who the prospect is without a middle initial or a spouse. A wider net on just first and last names would be helpful.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use iWave for prospect research; it helps find more info on prospective donors and integrates well with Salesforce, which is a great benefit.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Marceen,

Thank you so much for your kind words, We’re thrilled that iWave is helping you find more prospective donors,

 ### 26. Great Donor Giving Insights, But Project Screen Updates Need Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about iWave?**

The comprehensive look at donor giving trends and associations

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I don't like not being able to update individual screens within a project. Having to delete an entire project in order to update the screening for a few individuals is non-sensical, a waste of time, and a waste of screens.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a helpful tool for culling large groups of donors to my organization into manageable groups for solicitation.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that iWave’s donor giving insights are helping you manage large groups of donors effectively.

We also hear your thoughts on the flexibility of project screen updates and understand how this could improve your experience. Please know that we’re continuously working to enhance our platform, and your input is invaluable in guiding those improvements.

If you’d like, we’d love to discuss this further and explore how we can better support you.

**What do you like best about iWave?**

The many modules make iWave the no-brainer for one-stop research and is the best choice for a small shop that can only afford one tool. The screening is just as good as other tools and it's the only tool attempting to screen foundations/companies. I've never had a technical issue with iWave and they communicate when they're down for scheduled maintenance well in advance. I trust the data provided by iWave more than some of the other tools and use it nearly every day. It's quite easy to use and to teach others to use. We do not integrate it with our CRM, but I'm excited to do so when we switch CRMs in the future.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

I have not had great experience with customer service. The sales reps are pushy and do not do a great job of communicating desired improvements back to the company. Billing is often a trial, since our organization does not allow for auto-renewal. I've never had a technical issue, so I can't speak to their technicians.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iWave is the best tool I have for prospect research and helps me find new prospects, pull charitable giving history to compare our gifts with other organizations, find contact information, and more.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

 ### 50. iWave is an excellent wealth screening tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about iWave?**

iWave is an intuitive tool that I use daily to enhance my donor wealth research. It is especially helpful for finding charitable giving information, identifying real estate ownership, and getting an overview of a donor.

**What do you dislike about iWave?**

One challenge I find when using iWave compared to other tools is the difficulty in matching the results to my intended donor. When looking up someone with a common name, there can be thousands of results, and it takes time to weed through each one to determine which rows of data are related to my prospect and which are not. Some other tools I have used for donor research allow you to filter with a bit more ease (such as by linking the person's name to their known address) or provide a confidence level for each result so you can more quickly sort and filter results.

**What problems is iWave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use iWave to cross-reference data found in other databases such as Lexis and DonorSearch. It gives me more confidence in my analysis.

**Official Response from Bre Alexander:**

> Hi Suzy,

Thanks so much for your review. We're glad to hear that you find iWave to be an excellent wealth screening solution for your organization.

We appreciate your feedback regarding common names and lookups. I have an article that may be of help in this avenue, when using Smart Search, iWave does have a confidence of match setting you can use: https://support.iwave.com/s/article/Confidence-of-Match. Please reach out to our support team to learn more (support@iwave.com)

We appreciate your feedback and welcome additional notes in future. Thanks again, Suzy!
