I find the customer support with Humi by Employment Hero to be a lot greater than other platforms we have used. The initial setup was very easy, and we had support available all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I don't like much is that you must process the payroll on Monday to get your employees paid on the Friday. If Monday is a holiday, then it has to be processed on the Friday, which means the employees will not get paid for their Friday on that pay cycle. I find the user interface of Humi by Employment Hero pretty straightforward. The process of setting up payroll and processing it each period is easy to use. I appreciate the reminder emails that help ensure payroll and clients' employee payments are taken care of on time ... they're straightforward and very helpful. I also think the customer service at Humi is excellent. Anytime I've had questions or needed changes done behind the scenes that can't be managed through the website, the support staff have been very friendly. As an HR Consultant working with a variety of companies, I have been using Humi by Employment Hero and have found it to be very user-friendly. The platform allows me to switch between different accounts quickly, and I appreciate having access to various modules that can be tailored to each company's specific needs. As mentioned, there are some odd quirks with their UI. The search filters hid our terminated employees from us for a really long time. I worked with a payroll specialist who said they also struggled with it at first. It's a small quirk, and once you know where it is, it's an easy fix, it's just not intuitive at first.

I also don't like that they don't have data processing in their reports, I have to download the reports as a CSV then process data in Excel. For example, when we report insurable earnings to WSIB, I go to the WSIB report, but I can't extract a total from the web report. Instead, I download the CSV, then calculate the total insurable earnings for WSIB eligible employees. It's small, but it changes a 1 minute task to a 5 minute task. We were previously using a US based HRIS system, and since we are based in Ontario, Canada we wanted something more 'local'. Humi is relatively user friendly, and so far the transition has been pretty smooth. We use core HR every days, and then are currently working to set up the Performance Modules as well as Recruiting. Humi is less intuitive than our previous HRIS system, however, I know that they are always working to improve the system as well as they do take the feedback of their users pretty seriously.
