You can tweak your fundraising campaign based on the reports and maximise donor engagement. Their AI modelling helps predict donor behaviour and you can visualize the donor behavioral journey using their dashboard. There's also real-time analytics, custom donation pages and the software automatically labels data to make data-driven decisions easier. You can create personalized dashboards to track specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to fine-tune your fundraising campaign. The platform's machine learning AI also helps in data segmentation so that you can create personalized campaigns to optimize your fundraising efforts. Integration with CRMs also reduces manual data entry and centralizes your data in one location. **What do you dislike about Fundmetric?** The quality of return on your investment will depend a lot on the quality of data input, therefore, well-nourished, regularly updated data input is required to ensure the machine learning algorithm does its job properly. You can mainly get fundraising analytics from FundMetric, so the scope of functionality is rather limited. While campaign tracking and donor segmentation are welcome, the software does not offer event management or grant tracking. Though customization is offered, it may not be suited for some advanced users who would like to track additional parameters. **What problems is Fundmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?** Best for tracking fundraising activities and strategizing to maximize campaign effectiveness. Still, we needed to build cross-functional buy-in and adoption across other areas of the fundraising division to receive the highest impact. The Fundmetric team was willing to work at our pace, offer best practices, address reservations, and provide hands-on assistance throughout the proof-of-concept phases. And yes, there were multiple proofs-of-concept developed because sometimes that is what we needed to move our projects forward. You don't find that kind of dedication from most vendors. Throughout our relationship with Fundmetric, they have been there to listen to our needs and provide any level of support required to be successful. Their focus remains on improving our fundraising capabilities by providing better insights to our donors and friends and guiding our engagement opportunities. **What do you dislike about Fundmetric?** There are so many facets to this software and how it an be used. Our biggest issue was deciding where to start. As with any new technology, there was some initial distrust and fear that had to be overcome before it gained acceptance. This issue certainly isn’t specific to Fundmetric itself, but they took time to recognize and alleviate those concerns at all levels. **What problems is Fundmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?** As in many fundraising organizations, we have a large number of identified prospects that look great on paper but struggle to get them all qualified by a philanthropic advisor. Initially we were looking for ways to improve the quality of our portfolios and help move our pipeline. Fundmetric worked closely with our research and portfolio development team to create customized predictions that enhanced our current portfolio development process, pointing us toward those prospects who looked ready to consider a major gift. While these predictions were useful on their own, we ultimately found that using the integrated communications and giving platform was helpful in capturing needed data points that allowed us to measure interest and identify prospects for specific fundraising initiatives. Fundmetric demonstrated its ability to generate and synthesize this data through a planned set of targeted, personalized communications that captured interactions and interest at a level we could not do in the past. ### 5. Their team of data scientists led by Dr. Greg Lee, were instrumental in helping us make better predictions on our annual donors including helping us raise over a significant amount of our $1.3M campaign for our BeaversCare initiative. We've taken advantage of many of the team's offerings including their gift forms, email system, predictive recommendations (individuals and donation amounts), and even variable data videos. We would never be as far along if we had gone it on our own. The Fundmetric team is an extension of my staff! **What do you dislike about Fundmetric?** AI/Machine Learning is difficult for an organization to wrap its head around. Its not just a product, its not just a process, but its the combination of the people, processes and tools which make this a great company to work with. For example, you need data to feed the machines. Fundmetric has really helped us better understand our data... the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of it and the need for both positive and negative inputs. As an organization, we're really good about recording our successes, but we also need to track and monitor our failures to avoid biases in the design of the models. **Recommendations to others considering Fundmetric:** Mark Hobbs and company are a joy to work with and are very knowledgeable about the non-profit landscape. AI/Machine learning is a journey and you couldn't have a better partner as you begin the walk! **What problems is Fundmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are focusing on three areas. Annual giving donations - ensuring we maximize opportunities throughout a campaign; Major gift predictions - ensuring we are proactively approaching our top potential donors; and Planned Giving predictions - helping to identify candidates for estate planning conversations. However, in addition, we are gaining great insight into our data and structure; we are learning to be far more agile as we build out our own AI/Machine learning operations; and its helping us drive more digital transformation into our organization. ### 7. The team is very responsive when I have questions and concerns. The reports are easily pulled together and exported. **What do you dislike about Fundmetric?** It would be great if a Canadian credit card company was an option. **What problems is Fundmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to getting Fundmetric set-up we weren't really tracking our donors. The database has allowed us to import old data and understand our donors better. It has been very interesting to look at donor engagement during the pandemic. ### 8.
