**What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

This platform fully caters to electrical manufacturing compliance tracking for VDE and ISO 9001 standards. Automated notifications warn us of expiring safety training to avoid audit violations. All staff qualification logs carry full timestamps, ready for German regulatory inspections, replacing messy paper documents and disjointed spreadsheets while drastically cutting audit preparation time.

**What do you dislike about HRMatrix?**

There are no native APIs to connect with Siemens internal QA software, so we manually input shift and audit data repeatedly. The German interface mistranslates key manufacturing compliance terms. Custom reports required for VDE auditors lack flexible formatting, and setting up industry-specific certification fields took lengthy support interactions and testing cycles. Partial German localization also slowed team training during rollout.

We previously managed employee compliance via loose spreadsheets and paper files, which created gaps during official manufacturing audits. HRMatrix centralizes all training and qualification records, sends automated expiration alerts, and delivers fully traceable documentation that minimizes non-conformities during German regulatory reviews.

**What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

HRMatrix stands out for built-in support of GDPR and Germany’s ArbGG labor laws. Its permanent audit logs and adjustable data retention rules removed the custom compliance spreadsheets we once maintained for official data authority reviews. All employee lifecycle tasks live in one system instead of scattered tools, cutting cross-system data reconciliation work. The staff self-service portal slashes routine HR admin, and pre-made compliance report templates let me export fully audit-ready evidence quickly without manual data sorting.

**What do you dislike about HRMatrix?**

The backend dashboard has incomplete German translation, confusing junior HR staff when filtering compliance datasets. There’s no drag-and-drop automation builder, so every ArbGG-compliant workflow must be set manually line by line. Bulk employee management is severely limited. Onboarding groups of regional hires means updating GDPR consent, contract rules and access rights one by one; there’s no pre-built import template that validates mandatory German employment fields. Native payroll connectors only work with large international finance suites, missing most mid-market German accounting software. Each pay cycle we manually restructure attendance data to fit GoBD standards, introducing human error risk and extra audit documentation work.

Before switching, our personnel data was split across separate attendance trackers, candidate tools and compliance Excel files, leaving gaps in GDPR and ArbGG audit trails and creating constant duplicate data entry. This HRIS unifies all staff records in one secure system, automates onboarding and time tracking, and generates regulator-approved activity logs. Self-service functionality lowers routine admin workload, while flexible data retention rules keep our personnel files continuously audit-compliant.

**What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

As a Senior Portfolio Manager at a German asset management firm subject to strict BaFin and MiFID II oversight, regulatory personnel tracking is non-negotiable for our team of 51–200 finance professionals. HRMatrix’s pre-built finance compliance modules cut out the massive spreadsheet work we relied on previously. The platform automatically flags upcoming mandatory advisory training deadlines and securely archives every advisor’s certifications and employment paperwork with encryption. Its customizable audit report builder pulls all workforce compliance records in one consolidated view, drastically simplifying on-site supervisory inspections without us having to piece together disjointed Excel registers from multiple departments.

**What do you dislike about HRMatrix?**

The biggest operational pain point is the absence of native bidirectional sync with our core multi-asset portfolio management system. Every time an advisor completes new compliance training or updates credentials, our admin team must manually re-key this data into our investment platform for client disclosure files. The embedded ESG training tracking tool is overly simplified for CSRD reporting demands. There are no dedicated ESRS data fields to log advisor sustainability training hours, nor pre-formatted workforce sustainability disclosures we can directly plug into annual regulatory filings. All ESG training evidence has to be cross-referenced manually in separate spreadsheets to satisfy double materiality audit checks. Bulk audit log exports are equally inefficient: the system only outputs fragmented CSV chunks rather than a single unified dataset formatted for BaFin submissions. We spend several hours each compliance cycle cleaning, merging and reformatting these files before submitting them to regulators. On top of ongoing workflow friction, initial deployment required extensive custom configuration. Basic user accounts and department grouping were simple, but mapping all BaFin, MiFID II and CSRD mandatory training frameworks, plus fine-tuning role-based access for portfolio managers and compliance officers, dragged on for weeks to align with German financial supervision standards.

Before implementing HRMatrix, our HR and compliance tracking existed across disjointed SaaS tools and unstandardized Excel sheets. We faced consistent gaps in tracking expired advisor training, scattered personnel records and zero automated audit trails, which elevated our risk of BaFin penalties. This platform centralizes every core HR process—onboarding, performance evaluations, expense tracking, staff document storage—while automating compliance alerts and generating consistent, traceable audit documentation. It consolidates all employee regulatory data in a single secure hub, lowering compliance risk and drastically cutting the prep time needed for supervisory audits.

**What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

I love that HRMatrix is a truly all-in-one HR platform that unifies every core HR process we manage—from employee records, recruitment, and onboarding to time tracking, payroll, performance management, and compliance reporting. I really appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly it is for both our HR team and regular employees, reducing the need for extensive training. There's also a strong focus on GDPR and German labor law compliance with built-in features for data protection, consent management, audit trails, and legally safe documentation. I also value how reliable and stable the system is, with rare instances of downtime or slow loading, and smooth data syncing across modules.

**What do you dislike about HRMatrix?**

Payroll configuration is complex, especially for German rules. While it does support local tax and social security calculations, setting everything up initially was difficult. We had to adjust many settings manually, and some special cases (like part-time, mini-job, or overtime rules) required workarounds. Even small changes to payroll policies can feel risky because the system isn’t very forgiving. Core parts like creating employee profiles, setting up basic organizational structure, and configuring leave types were straightforward, but the payroll setup for Germany was significantly more complex and time-consuming. We had to manually configure tax classes, social security contributions, mini-job rules, church tax, and various deductions—with almost no guided wizard for local German requirements. We also ran into issues with data mapping during the import from our old HR system, which meant cleaning up duplicates and fixing fields multiple times. Integrations with Microsoft 365 and DATEV worked, but they required manual configuration and testing to ensure data sync was reliable.

HRMatrix centralizes employee data, cutting down on manual HR tasks and errors. It automates HR processes, reduces compliance risks, and improves onboarding efficiency. **What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

HRMatrix is very simpler software where it has customized and bunch of features. It helps in easy HR management with affordable price. This software is user friendly, the UI is very easy to use and it saves time in HR Admin process. 
It solves  all HR aspects issues within a short period of time.
Customer support works good.
Overall it helps to improvise the team's efficiency in all HR aspects smoothly.

The downside I felt, it has some restriction and limitations in the customisation.
It could be improved in more AI automated features.

**What do you like best about HRMatrix?**

Go to software for the assessing and auditing the HR related processes and activities. Features like HR Consulting and Recruitment is an add on. The onboarding is  flawless and UI is easy to use. Support is also satisfactory.

Integration with other HRMS is limited and could be better.

We are using it maily for assessing and auditing HR processes. We also use it to search employee and recruit them.

The interface of this software is very user friendly and easy to use . It's offers bunch of tools which are designed to manage and understand the HR aspects . It makes oraganizations to manage their work very easily and smoothly . Overall it's a helpful and very easy to use software.

HRMatrix was the first HR software we implemented as a team as we grew and it really helped with organization and creating structure in our processes.

**What do you dislike about HRMatrix?**

As we grew, the platform no longer supported our needs but that only makes sense as I think their target is smaller companies.

HRMatrix offers bunch of tools which is designed to manage the HR aspects.It is a good HRMS,which makes easy for HR and employees to utilise the features.Attendance, leave management are easily check and solved within a short period.

A customisation in HRMatrix has some restriction and limitations. For the small organisation,pricing model is considered
