The free version is excellent; it gives you the chance to try out different workspaces, and once you have created a few workspaces and seen how much fun it can be for your attendees you will be hooked! **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been running many remote meetings and workshops. We try to make them interactive, but they soon become boring for people. The different opportunities for interactivity offered by Hoylu mean that we can run a training session with questions, polls, and audience participation. They are great for breakout rooms and sharing content when the group comes back together. We have managed groups of 2-300 people who all have the opportunity to contribute, even in shorter meetings. They can also access the space after the meeting to review or add if needed. ### 2. It makes it possible to include clients on boards without any training. We can work together as if we were watching the same physical whiteboard. That makes sprint methodology with post-its and individual brainstorming possible even for remote teams! Also, I love the more advanced functionality like the pull planning module and how it helps me with visibility in complex processes. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** The how-to section for advanced users could be more developed, but I have gotten help with all my inquiries at customer support. **Recommendations to others considering Hoylu:** I would jump in and start workshopping. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hoylu is solving workshops, project planning, pricing, buyer personas and business model creation, visual summaries, etc. Right now, Hoylu is involved in almost every documentation and creative meeting I have. ### 3. Having used Hoylu Walls for many years, I found the touch pens and interaction with everything from Brainstorming to Sketching had a natural feel to it. The ability to now access Hoylu workspaces via web-based application has expanded its functionality greatly. Having easy access to an algorithmically growing whiteboard makes team communication easy and natural. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** There is not a lot I can say for downsides to Hoylu. They are an ever innovating company, so the updates to Hoylu come fast and furious. That, at times, causes bugs to crop up. On a good note, they are Very responsive to bug reports. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hoylu has become a part of our weekly meetings since its inception. The biggest benefits seem to have come from our Project management teams who have been able to utilize hoylu to replace any number of older style processes such as pull planning on a table or whiteboard. ### 4. All the features are easy to use. Very good usability. Lots of diffrent features for many diffrent usecases. Very good collaboration tool! **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** Nothing really to dislike, but I look forward to new features which are planned for the future! :-) **Recommendations to others considering Hoylu:** A very clearly laid out collaboration tool that is easy to use. It offers many different features to support virtual teamwork, is very easy to use and can be started immediately witj the team without training because it is very simple and intuitive to use. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Workshops with teams, brainstorming, trainings, process design, retrospective with the team, agile methods, Jira-Import, many many more.. unlimited! Hoylu helps to visualize the tasks / problems for a team and allows them to work together as best as it is possible virtually. ### 5. Many needs can already be satisfied with the free license. In every job there are processes, in every job there are collaborative phases, with Hoylu you meet both needs in one place. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** Some features are under development and we users look forward to their release soon. An important step has been taken with the integration of Teams, we expect new integrations with the most used tools in the business environment. **Recommendations to others considering Hoylu:** Start using free account and taste the functions, may be you discover free license could solve 90% of your needed. Then switch to enterprise license to use advanced features. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We integrate systems and support customers business by our consulting expertise. With Hoylu we apply collaboration and processes control at the same time, in every field, with each company regardless of their business size or number of employees. Design a process, collaborate with external professionals or internal colleague become easy daily using Hoylu platform. Yes, you need time to learn how to on it, but you fly very early. ### 6. I thought they kept me organized but in reality, it became a big mess with them all over my desk. Now I can have all of them digitized nicely organized on various boards depending on what project I'm working on. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** I do wish it was a little more customizable as far as controls go. For example, on my mac, if I take 2 fingers and scroll on the trackpad, it zooms in and out instead of scrolling around the workspace like most apps. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organization and planning. We also would like more immediate response from support when issues arise. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are documenting trade input and holding them accountable for promises made about the schedule. We also like the simple sketch feature of where trades are working on a map. Large-canvas, document review of markups, and sharing of collaborative sessions. ### 8. Also the support from the staff at Hoylu is second to none. I use this tool daily with a personal Kanban, Retrospectives, the calendar function to track software deployments, track vacation and prod support. I know I'm just scratching the surface and I hope to use Hoylu even more in the future. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** I can't think of anything. It's the best collaborative tool I've seen. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling deploymnets, easy retrospective, Used it for PI Planning events. Input to lookahead schedules. Sketch sessions and work flow needs. We have realized more comprehensive reviews and markups. No restrictions. You can mind-dump and organize later. Being able to free-form mind-map, share files, annotate, and draw right beside my team in real-time, is a game-changer. Workspaces are extremely engaging and everyone's input will live on in the Workspace. **What do you dislike about Hoylu?** There's a bit of setup required before you're able to start collaborating. You start with a blank canvas so you need to conjure up a bit of creativity to figure out where you'll place things. However, Hoylu just added a template toolbox which has helped a lot. **Recommendations to others considering Hoylu:** Hoylu is perfect if you're a visual person/learner. You can collaborate and design without the confines of bounding boxes, page sizes, and weird tool quirks. Using Hoylu is as simple as using sticky notes, pens, and text and as advanced as a full-fledged project management tool with task and iteration management. **What problems is Hoylu solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Hoylu for video production projects. We annotate and edit scripts, draw and edit storyboards, schedule our tasks, and link out to external resources and folders. We use Hoylu as a central hub for all of our collaboration and it's extremely helpful to have a single workspace/single URL that I can share out to onboard a temporary contractor and get them acclimated to the project as a whole. The Workspace will have everything they need to get started, all the comments and design notes, and space to continue collaborating. ### 11.
