It's super quick to get a dashboard up and running. Very flexible as well, I am proficient in both Python and SQL, so I love the fact that I can switch between both easily in one place. The feature to be able to query dataframes, not just data connections is also a game changer.
I love the fact that we can fine tune our conditions for considering data stale, not just for the whole dashboard, but also for each individual cell/data in the dashboard.
Also, re-usable components! So great.
The fair cost is also another huge point in your favor. I appreciate that I feel that our feedback is heard and not just filed in some black box never to be seen again. All in all, just a great experience and Hex is a company that I am proud to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out the scheduling/caching -- for example, in one of my apps, I can see that the report was run recently but when I re-run it, I get different results than the run that happened only 10 mins ago or whatever.
Sometimes sorting by a specific column breaks the report or adds more rows for some reason. There might be a flaw in my logic, I have not investigated too much but it seems weird that a table would return 50 rows then when sorting by date, the table grows to 100+ rows, even when the table is showing results directly from a SQL cell.
Pushing updates back to DB when using table inputs can be a bit complicated, but I am not sure this can be done easily anyway Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
