What do you like best about HealtheIntent?

Cerner HealtheIntent is a great tool which captures all data pertaining to an individual from multiple sources and presents it in a single platform. It provides health care firms with the ability to identify the health risks for any individual based on his consolidated data snapshot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HealtheIntent?

Cerner HealtheIntent needs to have more AI capabilities which can predict the possible diseases/risks associated with a person well in advance. Prescriptive Analytics component needs to be added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Well integrated with Cerner, not fully functioning yet"

What do you like best about HealtheIntent?

It is well integrated with the Cerner EMR ecosystem, for sure. All the data elements in the Millennium database (Cerner's transactional database) can be straightforwardly imported into HealtheIntent with easy scheduling configuration. You can also create your own data model on top of raw data elements in the Millennium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HealtheIntent?

HealtheIntent's data governance and metadata management have a lot of rooms for improvement. Data elements in HealtheIntent used to be redundant with same or similar names, without authorship or ownership information. It was hard to distinguish from one to the other to know which one is the one in production. HealtheIntent doesn't have a metadata information of environments "for test" or "for development", which makes hard to manage multiple versions of one data source. Recommendations to others considering HealtheIntent:

If you're running Cerner EMR at an enterprise level, it is almost an obvious choice to adopt HealtheIntent. It performs very well simply because HealtheIntent and Cerner EMR are integrated in one environment. From the cost perspective, it's up to the contract. But in a general sense, it is more cost effective rather than running a separate analytics framework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HealtheIntent solving and how is that benefiting you?

My employer is a non-profit healthcare system running many hospitals and clinics. We have a lot of needs of data analytics for patient care improvement and service quality control. We implemented Cerner EMR three years ago and HealtheIntent was a part of the analytics components we adopted. In the transition, we have used our own analytics of clinical data for secondary use, and it caused a lot of issues in data consistency and analytics cost. HealtheIntent was a great choice that enables an integrated data analytics and reporting environment, with a reasonable cost of ownership and management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
