&lt;p&gt;Yeah if the goal is letting non-expert developers automate Google Workspace without a steep ramp, Google Apps Script is the obvious starting point, it&#39;s rated  and lets you automate Sheets, Docs and Gmail with lightweight JavaScript, so someone who knows a little scripting can get real things done quickly. Colaboratory (4.4) is approachable too if the work leans toward data and Python notebooks. Honest heads-up, these sit in a small category with modest review counts, so treat the ratings as directional. For genuinely non-expert folks, Apps Script plus the built-in macro recorder in Sheets is usually the gentlest on-ramp. What are they mainly trying to automate, spreadsheets, email, or something across Workspace?&lt;/p&gt;
