Only thing that would be great is that if the clock running of each task can be monitored by the admin, and be able to see the amount of time the other users has worked in a month, things like this to be able to work out payments for the team per hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HacknPlan solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease of organising everything is so nice, less stressful. For example: Have an idea, add an idea task, think of a feature to work on in the future put it into you "beta release" board. When you are working on to develop a game. You have to work in large team and then comes the project management . You need a good project manager to handle your game development project . Hacknplan is good for project management . But some time when i post a new commit or file from my terminal. It doesn't load at the same time in the web page. This sometimes turns into a bigger issue. Apart from that Sonetime the server gets down too and my team is unable to add files to their project at that time for some unknown reasons. These things need to fixed asap. HacknPlan is a typical project and production management tool with simplistic and detailed UX and clear functions. This tool suits best for game / tech developers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HacknPlan?

Business Developer like me doesn't get that much out of HacknPlan compared to our tech guys, project lead, artists and other hands-on developers. UX could use some polish, to be honest. The UX might be good for our tech guys but I as a Biz Dev would need an improvement on the UX. A bit complex to begin with but after some time of practicing it seems to be easier than I initially thought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering HacknPlan:

Gets project management, tasks, backlog and bug fix tickets handled in an easy and efficient way. Maybe not the best tool for business development people. A good start with the free plan - later can jump to the premium plan that unlocks many good features for a <10 people team at least. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We keep our game development projects and tasks in HacknPlan so that everybody in the team can collaborate better.
