What customer support options does HackerRank Developer Skills Platform provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is not something the product’s available details specify by channel, but users describe the support experience as helpful and responsive. They appreciate practical assistance with setup, troubleshooting, and adapting assessments to their needs, although some report slower responses or wish for faster help during busy periods.

What is the experience like for teams switching to HackerRank Developer Skills Platform from another tool?

Switching to HackerRank Developer Skills Platform has helped teams consolidate technical assessments and interviews, or replace alternatives they found less capable, less reliable, or more expensive. Teams moving from assessment products such as Codility, CodeSignal, HackerEarth, and CoderPad describe gaining more flexibility in assessment creation and, in some cases, live interviewing in the same workflow; those moving from ad hoc editors or documents describe a more structured interview process with less manual handling.

What tools and platforms does HackerRank Developer Skills Platform integrate with, and how do these integrations help users get more value from the product?

HackerRank Developer Skills Platform offers 5 integrations spanning recruiting systems, database technology, and CRM.
  • Applicant tracking and recruiting: Greenhouse, Workday Recruiting, and Workable.
  • Database: Oracle Database.
  • CRM: SmartCRM.
These connections can help fit assessments into hiring workflows, linking candidate and recruiting activity with the technical screening process.

What features or capabilities could make HackerRank Developer Skills Platform even more useful?

The improvements users most want would make assessment content more current and better suited to specialized roles, while reducing effort in day-to-day administration and review.
  • Broaden and refresh the question library: Add more current questions and better coverage for niche technologies, practical scenarios, and different difficulty levels.
  • Make assessment creation and customization smoother: Simplify authoring, editing, and tailoring questions, especially for specialized roles.
  • Improve reporting and analytics: Make results easier to customize, interpret, compare, and share.
  • Strengthen integrity workflows: Improve the consistency of suspicious-activity and plagiarism flags, and make flagged submissions easier to review.
  • Reduce administrative work: Add more bulk actions for tasks such as managing tests, invitations, and candidate follow-ups.

How useful do HackerRank Developer Skills Platform users find its AI features in everyday use?

AI-assisted flags for plagiarism or suspicious candidate activity can be useful as an early signal during assessments and interviews. Users also describe inconsistent results, including missed activity or false alarms, so these signals are best treated as prompts for human review rather than as a decision on their own.

Is HackerRank Developer Skills Platform considered safe and secure for handling data?

Users value monitoring and plagiarism signals as ways to support the integrity of assessments, but those tools do not provide a perfect assurance: flags can be noisy, inaccurate, or miss suspicious behavior. For hiring decisions, teams describe checking the underlying activity and results rather than relying on an alert alone.

"HackerRank transformed the way we assess our engineering candidates!"
5/5
What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

HankerRanks wide variety of products, skills, assessments and customizability has truly transformed the way we assess our engineer candidates for the better. Their attention to detail and security allows a level of faith in the product that is unmatched and so helpful in the day and age of AI.

This year we started getting an influx of AI generated candidates (fake resumes, stolen identities, utilizing AI to hide true identity). Hackerrank has been an instrumental tool in helping us safeguard our company against these frauds. The frequency of updates and releases truly helps our company stay ahead of security threats.

The platform is extremely easy to use and navigate. We utilize HackerRank in some way for every position we have and we are now looking to use it for continuing education for our current employees. Implementation and integration with our products was a breeze. And on top of all that, their customer service is unmatched! Our account manager Rachael is genuinely one of the best customer reps I have ever worked with. As a company we assessed multiple platforms for developer skills assessment and HackerRank is leaps and bounds above the rest. You will not regret using HackerRank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

I genuinely have no criticisms of HackerRank. The speed in which they respond to issues and update the platform accordingly allows for a continued positive experience for their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful yet simple"
4/5
What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

HackerRank is equipped with all the features you'd need for the interview and works very reliably. That is the thing I like the most about HackerRank. The layout, code highlighting, support for programming languages to choose from, the execution engine, everything has always worked well. Follow mode and pair-programming works well as well and I've had fun using it. I can jump into the interviewee's code and work alongside them, which is super nice. Mentioned before, but I'd like to highlight that the platform has everything that an interviewer would expect. A questions library, different logins for interviewers and interviewee, lobby and interviewer controls, coding tool, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

The UI has a bit of a learning curve attached to it. But if you use it for a couple of times, it becomes easy to use. Specifically the consequence of an action is not clear enough is what I felt. For example, when I click on the 'Use' button on a question from the question bank, what exactly happens? Does the interview start? But again, these are not prevailing issues, get addressed once you use the platform enough. One other issue is that the UI seems a bit busy, but cannot complain about it since that is what gives the sense of the platform being powerful. If there was a way to present everything in a more "aerated" way, it would be cool, but not a dealbreaker if not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding experience in talent attraction"
5/5
What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

I really like the variety of questions that are built in by default. Additionally, the organization by roles makes it easy and simple to create tests. In general, the tool is easy to use and its implementation in our organization was very easy. On the other hand, whenever we have had any kind of difficulty, we have always received timely attention through the channels that HackerRank provides for support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

For me, it is a bit difficult to understand the recruiter and test developer model, I see that there are no marked differences and this incurs a cost for which I find it hard to see any kind of benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
