Ask the demo person to buy material for a part that doesn&#39;t have a part number yet. In ETO that&#39;s normal life. You order steel while the design is still moving. Systems adapted from standard MRP choke on this, because everything in them hangs off the item master, so someone ends up creating fake part numbers just to keep the software happy. A system built for ETO treats the job, not the part number, as the center of the world. That one question in a demo will tell you more than the whole feature tour.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
