I can search by location, interest, age, follower count, engagement rates...and the list goes on! From there, once the campaign is up and running, I'm able to track each influencer's deliverables and see detailed reporting on how it's performing. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** In my opinion, the only downside to Grin is that it's such a powerful tool, it takes some time to learn how to use all of it's capabilities. In their defense, the Grin employees have been very helpful and gotten on the phone with me anytime I had a question. **What problems is GRIN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grin has allowed us to launch campaigns at scale with much less work than it used to require. We're reaching more (and better) influencers with less work than it took us before we started using the site. ### 2. There is so much functionality the platform offers it's bound to work with whatever type of influencer program you might have or want to start up. Whether for macro or micro influencers, the CRM system is very useful when you have a large number of team members working at the same time to outreach to influencers. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** Not really a con- there are very small details (for our brand) that we would like to see worked on. A major thing is just the ability to export data from multiple campaigns. On top of that, their lookalike function makes finding similar candidates to your already successful influencers makes it a breeze to find new talent. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** Not much that I dislike about their search function. I have tried many different tools over the last 7 years and find that platforms where you have to wait for influencers to apply to a campaign within a platform gets to be pretty annoying. I like to have more control of who I am reaching out to and also like to have the option of presenting my brand to as many creators as I choose each day. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** There are a few product development suggestions I have to help improve the platform but the Grin team has been extremely receptive to hearing my feedback. This has been super unique in my experience with them. I appreciate companies who want to connect with the users to help improve their product. **Recommendations to others considering GRIN:** This is a solid platform to have! I recommend this platform to any brand that asks. I have learned over the years it's preferred to have more of a CRM type of platform that helps with recruiting, organization of conversations and influencer status into one place. **What problems is GRIN solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been able to increase my daily outreach by 10x. I often can get pulled into meetings or calls so i noticed my time has shrunk when it comes down to vetting and sending outreach. Definitely helps my get more outreach in with less time. Also being able to log what stage a creator is at is nice and is in the platform to reference to if somebody else from the marketing team asks you about a specific person. I also actually don't use Google docs for tracking influencer progress anymore. ### 6. They are also constantly making updates and my recent favorite has been the new partnership tab that helps keep track of long term deliverables. I also find their pricing to be extremely reasonable. We did a lot of research prior to deciding to switch to Grin and not only did Grin have great pricing but they didn't limit brands on what functionalities they could or couldn't use (ex. we have unlimited campaigns) **What do you dislike about GRIN?** Currently, we work with a lot of micro-influencers so we bring them into the system vs finding them in the system. Each of these is done with a simple click of a button and can be done en masse for multiple influencers. Grin is super intuitive and such an easy to use CRM platform. Also, the team at Grin is fantastic! They are really knowledgeable and helpful, and if there are features or tweaks that would make your life easier, they have been willing to put it on the product roadmap and deliver it in a fairly timely manner. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** The only area that could use a bit of improvement is in the reporting and report exports. The dashboards in the platform itself are good, but could be more flexible/robust. The exports contain a fair amount of information but still not flexible/robust enough to be able to slice and dice the data as much as we would like. However, they are really receptive to feedback and making improvements. **Recommendations to others considering GRIN:** Very easy for a non-technical person to use and manage this platform. (Salesforce scores a 0 in my book for being incredibly complicated, Grin is a 10 in easy of use). Very effective for micro-influencer program where you are managing hundreds or thousands of influencers. **What problems is GRIN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automating the creation of discount codes, affiliate links, shipping product, tracking posts and tracking sales is what makes Grin such a dream to work with. Oh, and the Grin Chrome extension makes is so easy to import potential influencers from Instagram directly into your platform. This extension provides stats (like engagement rate, avg likes and comments per post) so that you don't have to eyeball it or calculate. The platform makes is really easy to manage and track thousands of prospective and active influencers, track email communication, and track all aspects by each in-house person that manages influencers (we have a team of 10). ### 19. Within a few minutes on Grin's platform, our "target audience" was replaced with real, invaluable surrogates: vetted influencers who represent the "target audience" we depend on reaching. Best of all, these influencers don't know Grin has identified them, which we found made for natural, comfortable interaction. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** I wish Grin would make a full email client specifically for marketers. Our team loves the UI. Specifically the Grin tracks emails, relationships, deals, and ROI. You own the relationship, you pay 1/3rd what you would per influencer via any other platform, and you can do it all in just a few hours a week. **What do you dislike about GRIN?** If there was a way Grin could integrate with non-Shopify stores to handle sale-tracking, that'd be amazing. **Recommendations to others considering GRIN:** If you're looking for a platform that will allow you to handle everything related to influencers under the sun, keep in mind I'd recommend you only work with large influencers and their agents via email. For everything else we need though, Grin has us more than covered, it is perfect. I used to spend 20+ hours a week vetting influencers in a mess of email and spreadsheets, and also use to pay developers thousands of dollars to scrape influencer emails from YouTube and Instgram, and now I can do that all in Grin in just hours a week. The only thing Grin doesn't do that I wish it did is allow for a connection to an email server from someone like Mailgun or Sendgrid, to avoid our emails going in spam. To solve this, I've hooked up thee Woodpecker email sequence tool to Sendgrid and it's cheap and a breeze. **What problems is GRIN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a large network of small influencers who promote us in exchange for product.
