"Free, Powerful User Tracking with Seamless Google Ads Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

It's a free software that allows me to track user data so I'm able to make more informed marketing decisions. I like how I'm able to intergrate it into Google Ads and create audiences that help boost performance. I also like the support you get from Google on the setup and optimizations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The UI can be hard to understand at first. Finding data and sorting it can be difficult to analyze if it's your first time on the platform, but Google does provide great resources to help learn the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Data Source for Website Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

It collects all our web data in one place and allows me to use it as a data source for the analysis I do for the organization I work for. It helps me answer a lot of questions about user experience and user behavior across the website and its pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The data can often be heavily sampled, and before I could make sure I was pulling unsampled data. Now I don’t see the opportunity to do that. Sometimes the exploration reports and the segments I created don’t provide the right numbers when I compare them to another data visualization tool, so it creates some uncertainty in the data I present. "Feature-Rich and Free, but GA4 Data Quality and Navigation Frustrate"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a very good tool, especially considering you’re not really paying for anything. It offers a lot of features and is useful for tracking, although some features are now a bit buried in the interface. It still gives you a good visualisation of basic data, and with the AI integration of Gemini, it’s become a little easier to find information or pull out insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Data quality has dropped over the years. I think this is partly due to GDPR, but also because Google Consent Mode has reduced the impact and usefulness of the data. As a platform, Google Analytics also didn’t improve with the move from GA3; the update hasn’t felt like a step forward. On some days it’s hard to find, or even get to, things that used to be easily accessible, and I end up buried in reports that don’t work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Analytics Delivers Deep Insights into Real User Behavior"
4/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I constantly revisit Google Analytics for the insight it provides on real user behavior. If a page's performance spikes or dips, I typically figure out why by checking traffic sources, user journeys, and conversion data rather than just guessing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Switching to Google Analytics GA4 was a bit of a hassle. I'm still struggling with some reports being buried deep in the menu. It takes forever to find quick info; I either dig through tons of submenus or create custom reports. Older versions made this so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Powerful Analytics with Seamless Integrations and Real-Time Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics provides an intuitive user interface, making it easy to access key insights and build reports. Its seamless integrations with Google Ads and other marketing tools create a unified analytics experience, while its performance and real-time reporting help teams make faster decisions. The platform delivers strong value at its price point, and AI-powered features like predictive insights and automated recommendations make it easier to identify trends and optimize campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics has a steep learning curve, especially for new users transitioning to GA4. Some reports are less intuitive than in previous versions, and customizing dashboards can take time. While the platform is powerful, advanced analysis often requires additional setup or technical expertise, and navigating the interface can occasionally feel complex. "Fantastic free option to check visitor stats on your website!"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like that Google analytics has so much data it can get on the customers you have and that you know exactly where they come from how they got there and where they went on your site. Being able to integrate with Google Ads is nice as you can know exactly when someone bought a product by setting up a goal.

I love the Google site kit plugin they have brought out to be able to quickly get your wordpress site connected to Google analytics and Search console. Those two in conjunction work extremely well and the setup is super easy and quick with Google Site Kit.

Also who can complain about free! It is a fantastic value!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Sometimes there is an overwhelming amount of information that you can get. I don't even understand it all so I probably use only 20% of what I could be using don't know if the help is the best.

Though they do have a quick view on the dashboard, having some kind of non advanced version with quick ways to get to things that you could switch from advanced to basic I think would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Insight Tool with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I use Google Analytics to get insights into my website traffic, which aids in business development for my company. I love that the user interface is very readable and engaging. I enjoy tracking the stats week to week and viewing trends in the data. The insights tab also helps clarify information. Setting up Google Analytics was super simple—you just make an account and paste some code. I'd say it's very easy to use, and I would definitely recommend Google Analytics to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I don’t have many complaints. More data being shown on the overview page would be a bonus but not required. Showcasing more data and insights on the overview page without having to click around the different pages to piece this stuff together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Website Data Collection and Visualization with Google Analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics allows businesses to collect and visualize vast amounts of website data. I use this data to better understand how my website is working like which pages are most popular or which ones are converting visitors into customers the best. It gives me an idea of where my traffic is coming from based on country or device. All of this helps me make better decisions when designing my websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

It is not always intuitive for how to find and analyze specific data. There are so many options for filtering data, that if you don't know where to click, it can be difficult to see the exact data you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deep Insights and Powerful Dashboards for Data-Driven Decisions"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like most about Google Analytics is the depth of insight it provides into website performance and user behaviour. It allows you to track key metrics such as traffic sources, engagement, and conversions, helping to clearly understand what’s working and where improvements are needed. The reporting and dashboards are highly useful for making data-driven decisions, and the ability to segment audiences adds valuable detail. Overall, it’s a powerful tool for measuring performance and optimising digital strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

One drawback of Google Analytics is that it can be quite complex, especially for new users, with a steep learning curve to fully understand its features and data structure. The transition to GA4 has also made some reporting less intuitive, requiring more setup to access familiar metrics. Additionally, extracting very specific insights can sometimes take more time than expected due to the way reports and dimensions are structured. Overall, it’s a powerful tool, but it can require expertise and ongoing configuration to get the most value from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
