GoGuardian Teacher Reviews & Product Details

As a Teacher using GoGuardian having the ability to see what is happening on my students' screen or their tabs has been valuable. Using the scene tool has allowed me to keep students on task and utilize their 1:1 device for learning and not for their own personal enjoyment or entertainment purposes. I forget to set up my classroom each day. I wish there was an auto feature based upon a schedule that you input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monitoring Student challenges in real time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has been updated but the biggest concern was not being able to get through to students from distance learning. You would send a message and it was missed or ignored. Video chat will help eliminate this from continuing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the tremendous user community. You will not find a place as connected as this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't dislike much. I like the entire product at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that with GoGuardian I am able to chat with my students no matter what page they are on. The chat box will pop up no matter what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What could improve is the lag time with monitoring screens. It can make it difficult at times to see what is wrong when students ask for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoGuardian could improve some of the import options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoGuardian has a teacher-friendly platform and allows teachers to monitor what their students are doing. It also allows teachers to lock student devices for each class period so that they cannot go to any unapproved websites. The report that can be saved for individual students is also helpful at parent conferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main downside I have is an app feature for phone usage. It would be great if parents also had access to see what students are on. It would also be more helpful if the student reports gave the website title or link. It is sometimes unclear on what the students were on in the report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The bonus of using this program is the chat feature where students can ask questions in real time and receive feedback immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The inability of GoGuardian to interface with multiple programs, example Schoology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the fact that I can see exactly where my students have been on the internet and the amount of time they were on each site. I am also excited about the Video Conferencing feature and cannot wait to try it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
