The name GoFundMe Charity doesn't sound very good either. I have seen it used for anything from parties to bone surgery. First, it connects using your Facebook to log in, which makes it much faster to get logged in without having to worry about passwords. My other most favorite feature is that you have to make a GOAL, which is the amount of money you want to raise, and it also gives you tips, which they call "Expert Advise 24/7". They tell you how it works, give you fundraising ideas, and also give fundraising tips. Their tips include things like make a reasonable goal and share your story. They also have a well known name, and an easy paying process. It's very simple to earn a lot of money using GoFundMe. It also has a lot of options to share it to other social media. It allows photos and videos as well. **What do you dislike about GoFundMe?** What I dislike is that it isn't connected to PayPal and that not enough people have heard about it yet. People might be skeptical in putting their Bank information into the website and other personal information, when they only wanted to donate money. **Recommendations to others considering GoFundMe:** I would Absolutely recommend this to any individual or team or organization that wants to raise money for anything that they cannot afford themselves. Make sure you have a good story and explain how the money will be used. **What problems is GoFundMe solving and how is that benefiting you?** The business problem that I am solving is that now I actually have the funds to carry out projects. I could not afford to do the things I have done with Go Fund Me. I realize the benefit of doing it through a specific platform, especially one designed to be "donations" and not "paying for something". It can be confusing as I had people ask me if it is giveforward or youcaring. I am not sure why there are two different names. Maybe there is a legitimate reason but I don't know of it. So when we were trying to spread the word to raise funding and I was telling people to go to giveforward (when spreading by word of mouth) some people were saying to go to youcaring. So there was mixed messaged being spread. **Recommendations to others considering GoFundMe:** I would choose GiveForward before any other crowd fundraising. I love that there is not a platform fee. I am also spreading the word about GiveForward to churches to help them raise funds for different missionaries or local community needs. It creates a simple way of spreading the word about the need. **What problems is GoFundMe solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was able to help raise funds for a local family whose business burned down in a fire.
