**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

The community platform has a nice interface and I love that we can create subgroups for our members. The customer support is excellent and they are always improving or adding new features.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

I do wish contact information were visible in the member directories without having to request each business card separately. The website’s backend is not very user-friendly, and navigating it can be frustrating. Wordpress would be a better experience overall.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been really helpful to have event registration directly connected to our membership database, since it keeps everything in one place and makes the process much smoother.

The tutorial videos are great, and they helped me quite a bit in the beginning.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

The agenda format in the Events section could be improved, and I’d also like to see more themes added to the page. In addition, the ability to import memberships in bulk from an Excel sheet should really be a must-have.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glue Up is helping us move away from storing membership data in an Excel sheet and toward an all-in-one platform for our event registration.

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

We implemented Glue Up in early 2025 and it has been really useful for events, email campaigns and contact management so far. We were previously using Eventbrite for event registration, but Glue Up is much better as it is a CRM function and has allowed us to combine data from multiple places. The system is easy to use and there is training available. We use it for all of our major events and are starting to use it for memberships too. 
We have a very helpful Customer Success Manager and overall the system is saving us a lot of time and work.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

It will take quite a bit of time to set up and configure your account. You may need to allow more time for the setup process than your implementation manager will want you to take, so keep this in mind when planning. Also worth noting is that you have an allowance for events and contacts and if you want to increase that, you will need to amend your contract with Glue Up.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to combine data from multiple sources, and this has been a big time-saver. We also use the platform for membership management, which has made tracking membership expiration much more efficient than it was previously. Finally, the ability to manually approve event registrations is essential for us and we use it extensively for our largest annual event, which has also saved us a lot of time.

I am most excited about the member engagement possibilities that Glue Up offers. The interface seems like a combination of LinkedIn and Facebook, which should make member engagement easy and drive membership renewals.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

Setting up our payment account and our DNS has been a very long process. We ran into a large technical issue in an area and it took 7 days to resolve it. It took 24 hours to even get a response about what the plan was to resolve it. I feel like their technical team may be small and support hours need to be extended. Difficulties with payment processor and DNS settings caused a setback for sure.

Glue Up connects our members, manages memberships, and shares content. I'm excited about its member engagement features, likened to LinkedIn and Facebook, which should drive renewals.

The training process was very thorough. Yurianna and Irving were both extremely helpful, and they responded quickly whenever we had questions. We’re excited to start using the membership platform, and we believe it will greatly streamline both our invoicing and our new-member registration process.

I would say it took some trial and error to learn how to use the platform, but we felt prepared by the end of our training sessions.

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

The CRM system is a standout feature. It's incredibly well-integrated, allowing us to easily access all relevant information about our members in one place—from contact details and event attendance to payment history and engagement level. This makes it so much easier to stay on top of our relationships and respond to members’ needs quickly.

The platform also makes communication simple and efficient. We can send out targeted emails, notifications, and campaigns to the exact audience we want to reach, all from within the system. That level of control and flexibility is incredibly helpful.

The events module is another highlight. Setting up registration pages, ticketing, and managing attendees is intuitive and smooth. It saves us a lot of time and adds a very professional touch to our events.

Overall, the platform brings everything together in one place, making it much easier to manage a community effectively.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

The Knowledge Library is very useful and allows us to share important content; however, it could be more visually engaging or dynamic. The current design is fully functional, but maybe a refresh could make it even more appealing for users exploring resources!

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glue Up helps us streamline and centralise many aspects of our work as an association secretariat. It connects CRM, events, communications, membership management, and payments all in one platform, which saves us time and gives us a full overview of our members’ engagement in just a few clicks.

Instead of switching between tools, we can see everything in one place: who our members are, what events they've joined, which invoices are pending, and how active they are in the community. This level of integration has made our admin work more efficient and has allowed us to offer a more personalised and professional experience to our members.

Glue Up provides a wide range of features all within a single platform, such as the ability to conduct surveys, create event pages, send targeted emails to specific member groups, and facilitate member interactions, among many other options.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

Adding or creating items in Glue Up involves a few more steps than in Chamber Master. However, I believe that with more practice, the process will become easier and take less time.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We encountered some challenges with Chamber Master, primarily on the administrative side. However, since I am part of the Events team, I was not directly involved with those issues. I am eager to become more familiar with the platform, as I have noticed it offers much more than other CRMs.

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

As a membership based system, I love that GlueUp has everything in one place and is seamlessly integrated.  It has saved me many hours of work to have invoicing, membership, mailing, events and the CRM all in one place and tied together.  It has a user-friendly interface and is intuitive to use as both an administrator on the back-end and for our members on the front-end. In addition, the support team is helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

My only issue with GlueUp is that there are a number of small bugs that can be annoying to deal with. Nothing is a dealbreaker but it seems like sometimes they put attention into building new features that aren't as useful instead of perfecting the ones that are fundamental.  In addition, anyone considering implementing the system should be aware that it is a very big job to put into place, the team helps a lot but it requires a lot of manpower.

GlueUp puts everything into one place in an integrated way, in addition it automates many things that take many hours of my time.

We have been using it actively and things have been working so smoothly compared to our previous system.
The support team is geared up and always available to help.

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

This platform will give us a kind of database of our attendees and email list contacts, which we didn't have before. This allows for reporting, which we really want. Being able to couch that with an app our attendees can use, and the commerce capacity for online event registration will elevate our event.
Once you understand the terminology and structure of Glue Up, it's pretty self-explanatory. The training sessions are useful, as is customer support, but nothing beats just spending time playing around in the platform to get acquainted with its functionality. 
I can't speak to integration because we didn't integrate any outside sources with it (though we may embed parts of Glue Up on our website later, so the two seem cohesive).

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

I'm not sure that I dislike anything, per se. It would be useful to have some basic event management functions (project management), but I knew that wasn't part of Glue Up when I signed up.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed the following things, which Glue Up now makes possible for us:
- a CRM database
- the ability to pull reports from our CRM base, to see attendance trends over time
- the ability to invoice sponsors and let attendees register for our event in one place
- an app for our attendees to use up to and during our event and a community function all year
- the flexibility to have memberships, separately from our basic contacts and attendees

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

I like the fact that the platform is all in one and inclusive of Contacts, Events, Campaigns, Memberships & Finance in one place. This is important to allow for us to track activity across campaigns and events. It also helps to keep us focused on one tool to carry out our daily tasks and monitor progress of event registrations and communications. I work in Glue Up all throughout the day to ensure communications are sent, events are planned and executed and follow ups are made as needed.

There are a number of features I enjoy about Glue Up. However, I would like to see Glue Up add a forms feature that allows for users to sign up for different reasons. For instance, I'm currently using Events to get sign ups for experts. We also use it to capture members who would like to be considered for our monthly spotlights. The forms feature would be very beneficial.

It allows for us to manage membership and engage them with outgoing emails and track engagement for those who read the email campaigns. We use the events to execute on our training webinars and in person events.

My organisation has been using GlueUp for a number of years now.  The system is great, easy to use and they are continually improving the functionality to suits their users.  Our account management team are very flexible with us, which we appreciate so much.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

There is not much not to dislike but I would love for them to be able to add functionality that allows for a % of the invoice amount to be passed onto the customer when they pay with cc.  Our organisation is losing a lot of money because this functionality is not available.

We love the campaign functions as it's easy for us to get our messaging out to the people who need it.

3. There are regular updates, so the platform gets new and better features.
4. It was easy to implement and upload.
5. There are training videos and booklets to refer to. The AI feature helps as well when one needs a quick answer.

This system is so user-friendly. I was operating it a few days after purchasing it. I received training, but I took charge immediately. I use it for membership and even registration. It helps you follow up with your members and organize big events. Their customer service is amazing, and they get back to me quickly if I have questions. Finally, it helps me keep track of finances, and it is integrated with my apps.

While Glue Up offers an all-in-one CRM system, some of the design elements involving the website component and email campaigns are rudimentary. It gives you the basics, but lacks the customization and creative options that other platforms may offer.

Glue Up's association software is very easy to use and provides all the features that associations need to run their operations, engage their community and to recruit new members. It also has a lot of dahsboards and since it's all-in-one software all the data about engagement is in one place so I can have a full picture about all of our members.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

Hmm, trying to think of something to dislike but I can't think of anything. Compared to other AMS out there, Glue Up is a clear winner for our association.

**What problems is Glue Up solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, as an association, Glue Up has made our operations smoother by consolidating event management, member communication, payments, and all work around memberships into one platform. This has saved us countless of hours, reduced errors, and improved our member engagement. With automated communication and real-time analytics, we’ve become more efficient and better equipped to meet our community’s needs. In short, Glue Up has simplified our processes, enhanced member engagement, and helped us to focus on delivering value for our community now that we finally have time for it.

**What do you like best about Glue Up?**

Glue Up has delivered on our key targets when purchasing, namely increased member engagement and better data to support future decision making. Customer services are supportive and responsive. We use it daily and feedback from our members is positive about how much easier they find it signing up for events and keeping up with everything that's going on. Key for us are the events set up and the use of campaigns (which has saved me at least half an hour every week on it's own as it's so easy to do).

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

There are some minor things I'd change & I'll feed those into the team for them to look at but in all honesty there's nothing that causes me any major issues.

It gives us member to member communication between events to build a sense of community, makes setting up events incredibly easy and delivers great newsletters.

With Glueup, I feel like I have a digital team sitting with me and assisting me in sending out my communications, managing my event registrations and many other works.

It's good for now. No specific observation.

Database management is something that I use this platform for on a day to day basis.  Managing our events has become much easier with the auto reminder system that Glueup provides to the registrants which is very helpful and saves a lot of time for follow up.  Also it is easy to segrate respondents and non-respondents to our communications via the reports generated by the tool.  We are more tech enabled now and have made a huge cross from our manual works.

It's nice, modern and sleek. Also provides good value for money. We did a lot of research and this product came well on top. Has all necessary functions you might want as an NGO.

Quotas (contacts, events, emails) can be a constraint in some cases and need to be carefully managed.

It's much better than the previous open source solution based on Wordpress and CiviCRM. It hass the critical functionality but without the administration overhead.

It streamlines event management through creative event pages, and efficient attendee check-in. The customizable database consolidates a CRM platform with an email marketing platform further enhancing convenience for organizers and participants alike.

**What do you dislike about Glue Up?**

Beside Glueup’s regular down times at certain hours, its mailers also lack the customization other platforms provide. Its events page also has downsides with its limited features, especially for larger-scale events. There are also several glitches with membership renewal especially if there are open invoices. We’ve encountered invoices that were open for 2023 and saw that it was changed to 2024.

Glueup has resolved our issue of using multiple platforms for different functions. It benefitted the organization holistically by creating a streamlined process for events management together with an efficient contacts database.
