For the free personal plan, some of the most useful features like Black Screen Mode or Connection History are locked. Getscreen.me is straightforward to use, requiring very little setup. The browser-based access is seamless, whether I’m connecting from a computer or a mobile device. For remote, unattended access—which I use most often—it’s as simple as installing the agent on any device, linking it to my account, and I’m able to connect whenever I need.

On mobile, the default cursor mode significantly improves usability. It separates pointer actions from location, allowing me to zoom, place the cursor, and tap to select—making it much easier to control a large desktop screen from a phone or tablet. In my experience, this is more efficient than traditional solutions like Windows Remote Desktop.

I don't dislike anything about the platform. It exceeds my expectations for our needs.

The only I could suggest would be improvements to existing features:

1. More integrations, particularly with helpdesks and CRM tools.

The solution is very easy to use and allows me to send invites for quick support from remote locations. The permanent access is extremely helpful. This solution is very good and allows me to access computers when I need to and is less finicky than RDP and is cross platform so it works with both PC's and Mac's. My favorite thing about Getscreen.me is the remote screenlocking and restarting abilities. Getscreen.me allows me to restart or lock my computer without being connected to it directly! This is very useful for the management of my device. I also really love remote file managing. This makes it very easy to manage files on my device and I use it frequently. One thing that I believe that the product should improve upon includes features such as safety. I feel that there should be a way to lock the website or hide it behind a pin. It seems a bit too easy if a bad actor gets ahold of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy and simple to use. The connection is stable and fast. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. I have been using it for over 2 years and have had no problems.

I chose Getscreen.me in addition to being economical because it is secure, uses data encryption during transmission, the authentication is secure (2FA) and also because it complies with GDPR standards and other privacy regulations.

During this time I have only had one problem when connecting to 2 computers that are using a switch to share monitor, keyboard and mouse. I use Getscreen.me for personal use and it works incredibly well. I have a beefy desktop, and a poor school provided chromebook, and I am able to access my desktops power and applications via my chromebook. I am currently in school for IT and being able to access my desktop from anywhere has been a game changer. The program is so easy to use that I have shown multiple of my friends who are in the same boat how to use the program and they also love it. I genuinely can not think of any major downsides of Getscreen.me. I have tried alternative programs and they are both harder to set up and have more latency. The only real issue is that the resolution scalling is not the best, and tiny text can be hard to read however it is uncommon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had some glitches in the past, which I reported, and it got fixed within no time. Questions get answered honestly within no time.

The team always keeps pushing what is possible, implementing new features, and extending the featureset of Getscreen.

I would love some more granular uptime monitoring. Using the Telegram bot is great for connecting and tracking uptime, but the timestamps are not always 100% accurate to when the device goes on or offline.

I would love an option to enable some sort of log for where I can see exactly when a device was online and when it went offline. Somewhat like the Getscreen Connection History but for up/downtime.

Another big wish would be to be able to connect to my agents only via a VPN to add more security so they are not necessarily exposed to the Getscreen proxy servers. I would love to have a VPN implementation via Wireguard or/and Tailscale. My last item on my wishlist would be a third-party audit to give enterprises the security they need. Using Getscreen.me was surprisingly easy! No software download, no credit-cards, not a lot of time involved to create accounts. I just opened a web browser and bam, I was connected to my remote desktop. Getscreen.me made remote access a breeze.
