After using FTAPI for a while, a few things have stood out to me in a very practical, day to day way. It fits into our normal routines without getting in the way, which I appreciate because we already juggle enough tools. The separation between internal and external sharing also feels reassuring because it reduces the chances of sending something to the wrong place. I did not expect to use the automation features much, but they turned out to be helpful for tasks that repeat all the time. The audit trail is also clearer than I thought it would be, which makes it easier to answer questions about who accessed what. One area for improvement is the handling of encryption for mixed recipient groups. When an email is sent to both external and internal recipients, the message is encrypted for all recipients, including internal ones, which can occasionally slow down workflows. If a wrong email address is entered and recipients manage their own passwords, access cannot always be prevented in such cases. An additional safeguard or warning mechanism here would be helpful.
