After using FTAPI for a while, a few things have stood out to me in a very practical, day to day way. It fits into our normal routines without getting in the way, which I appreciate because we already juggle enough tools. The separation between internal and external sharing also feels reassuring because it reduces the chances of sending something to the wrong place.

I did not expect to use the automation features much, but they turned out to be helpful for tasks that repeat all the time. The audit trail is also clearer than I thought it would be, which makes it easier to answer questions about who accessed what.

One area for improvement is the handling of encryption for mixed recipient groups. When an email is sent to both external and internal recipients, the message is encrypted for all recipients, including internal ones, which can occasionally slow down workflows.

In addition, there is no full protection against incorrect recipient addresses. If a wrong email address is entered and recipients manage their own passwords, access cannot always be prevented in such cases. An additional safeguard or warning mechanism here would be helpful. I like the simplicity of FTAPI and the excellent support. It's really great that we can send files securely, especially larger files that cannot be sent by conventional means. I also greatly appreciate the ability to work with external partners in a shared project space on projects like construction projects. We particularly want to highlight the ability to comfortably and securely transfer large files – this is an absolute game changer for our work.

Furthermore, we use SecuMails directly from Outlook to seamlessly and without media disruption send confidential documents. FTAPI is the perfect solution for securely exchanging sensitive data. The user interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy for even non-technical colleagues to use without training. We particularly appreciate the ability to send large files and also application code with end-to-end encryption – even to recipients who don’t have an FTAPI account.
