**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

I like that payroll runs smoothly and my bookkeeper has a direct line to someone at FrankCrum who helps her. Sandra Novatko, our HR consultant, has been very helpful in keeping our employee handbook current and recommending any additional forms for our employees to review and sign to keep employees informed and the company protected. Everyone we have interacted with has been responsive and willing to guide us with any questions. I like that if I have any employee HR-related issues, I can reach out to Sandra. I really appreciate having direct contacts at FrankCrum and value their expertise.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

I've been trying to get group health insurance for my team, but the issue is that we have a very small team, and I have been told that there is a minimum number of people (5) that need to sign up for health insurance. I have 4 full-time employees counting myself, so that's been a bit of a challenge.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FrankCrum for payroll that's smooth, and I value having direct contacts, especially Sandra for HR issues and keeping our handbook current.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

I use FrankCrum for all of our HR services, including payroll and compliance, across multiple states. I love FrankCrum's customer service, which goes above and beyond, with team members who are extremely responsive and know us by name. They have saved us over $50,000 in benefits the first year due to their much better pricing. The expertise in state compliance is invaluable, especially given our growing company. FrankCrum has made the onboarding and employee turnover processes very easy, and they have been very efficient in helping us process payroll on time. Their team, including Jennifer Smith, Lisa Campbell, Tim Crum, Marjory Steinhafel, Ashley Williams, Rachelle Noel, Wyomi Emanuel, and Jennifer Waugh, have all been instrumental in assisting with compliance, benefits, and creating necessary reports.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

The only things I would like would be able to upload more documents to each employee's files after onboarding new hires, instead of doing each individual document it would be nice to be able to upload multiple docs. Also, the training hub is a bit confusing to navigate and find the trainings we want.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FrankCrum helps with multi-state compliance, simplifying payroll and benefits management. Their excellent customer service saved us over $50,000 in the first year and supports our HR needs as we grow. The team's responsiveness and expertise greatly aid in managing compliance, unemployment, and employee onboarding.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

I really like FrankCrum's advice; it's been very helpful to us as we navigate some challenges as a small business. It's good to have a resource and an adviser to give me informed opinions and decision making, so I know that I'm not putting my business in legal jeopardy or doing anything that might be harmful to my business. FrankCrum has been helpful in managing my payroll, my employee onboard process, and keeping workers' comp claims organized. I also appreciate that they have individualized care, and I've gotten to know staff members pretty well. Their employee retention has been really good, which means I like knowing who I can direct questions to without having to navigate an entire employee tree to get the best answers.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

I found that their benefits team is lacking a little bit. I sometimes have a hard time getting an answer from them. My 401(k) rollout had been really disorganized. I tried to set up a ICHRA for my employees, and the whole thing just was very misleading. So I think that their benefits team could use a lot of help.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FrankCrum helps manage my payroll, organize workers' comp claims, and provides valuable advice. Their guidance helps me avoid legal issues, ensuring I'm doing right by my business.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

One of the main things I like about FrankCrum are the benefit packages offered to our employees, as I have heard nothing but positives when our employees actually utilize the benefits.  This helps us retain the talent we have and use as a recruiting tool to grow.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

The costing structure is a % of payroll, I know given the positives we have with FrankCrum there is a cost/benefit analysis that needs to be understood.

**Recommendations to others considering FrankCrum:**

I would highly recommend FrankCrum across the board whether it be benefits packages offered, or Human Resources available, to payroll services available.  So many strong departments to assist help run your business as smooth as possible.  Also, make sure you are aware of how the cost structures work and how they can change as your employees change or payroll changes are made.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can say that FrankCrum assists us in so many aspects.  Whether it is hiring an out of state employee, walking through that process, assisting with day to day payroll related questions (which Cara is AMAZING to work with) or PTO adjustments or working with Sara on the new revised company handbook.  I feel like the entire team across FrankCrum does a really great job taking the load off of me so we can focus more on our business strategy.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

The people who work for FrankCrum are very friendly and always courteous. They are also very knowledgeable, but most importantly very responsive.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

There is nothing I disklike about FrankCrum. Their only weakness is not even of their own making: there are about 5 U.S. states or so that will not allow you to utilize FrankCrum, or the services of any PEO. That means you are still on your own as far as payroll filings and such. BUT FrankCrum STILL helps you out, even with those states. They have been wonderful supplying needed reports and even reminders for states they do not even handle.

**Recommendations to others considering FrankCrum:**

If you are trying to process multi-state payroll by yourself, I'd say do yourself a favor: give FrankCrum a try. Give yourself a break!

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FrankCrum performs all of our payroll functions, including and most crucially multi-state payroll taxes. They also handle our benefits policies for our employees. As the Finance and Admin Manager, I'll be the first to admit these are extraordinarily complex tasks for a growing business such as ours.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

The most helpful thing about Frank Crum is knowing we have a real team behind us. This isn’t a “close the deal and pass you on to a payroll clerk” kind of company. It feels like a full-contact organization where everyone jumps in to help and make sure things get sorted out.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

They’re all the way in Clearwater, so I can’t just pop in to say hello and thank them for everything they do. We’ll simply have to appreciate them from afar.

**Recommendations to others considering FrankCrum:**

If you’re using any other PEO, call Alana. And if you’re not using a PEO and you’re bleeding money on workers’ comp coverage, call Alana.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frank Crum provides seamless payroll services, comprehensive reporting, and a bridge to quality benefits for small businesses, along with workers’ comp and HR support. It’s like having a genie in a bottle—taking the headaches off our office so we can stay focused on the day-to-day needs.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

I like how attentive FrankCrum is to my account; I use their services for payroll, benefits, and HR, and they've been really helpful, especially with disputes and processing payroll. Having an account manager who looks over my benefits and payroll is very beneficial. I'm definitely interested in seeing what other services they have to offer.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

I would recommend that the account manager just reaches out a little bit more often. Just to make sure things are going good as well as them reach out with additional services that they have to offer us.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FrankCrum helps me with disputes on the HR platform and supports payroll processing including account management for benefits and 401k. I suggest more frequent check-ins from account managers to enhance service and discover more offerings.

I appreciate FrankCrum for their valuable legal expertise, particularly their advice on employee handbooks and policies. Their support in managing payroll benefits is also a significant plus for us. I like how they handle federal tax filings and wage reports, which helps us manage these tasks more efficiently. Overall, we like all of the services offered by FrankCrum, and they've been a reliable partner for our payroll, insurance, taxes, and employee benefits over the past two and a half years.

I'd like more flexibility with the employee payroll platform.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

I appreciate FrankCrum for HR assistance as we're a small virtual company with employees in over 7 states. Their understanding of local state laws and assistance with payroll and benefits provision for our workforce is invaluable. I find their team's knowledge and the advice and guidance they offer to be particularly valuable. The myFrankCrum portal is straightforward for handling payroll, which is helpful.

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

The benefits provision needs improvement as our employees pay quite high premiums for their healthcare coverage.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FrankCrum acts as our HR extension, helping us with local state laws, payroll assistance, and benefits provision, which is crucial for our small virtual company spread across multiple states.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

The customer service!  Our service reps have been amazing on helping through a difficult season.  I appreciate them so much!  Maria Tapia-Vallegas has been a God send!

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

Nothing.  Just the remote check printing.

**What problems is FrankCrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don’t really have any issues with the service itself. Our main issue, which is frustrating for everyone involved, is that remote printing has to go through Explorer. There have been times when our computers update and the settings get changed. The tech team has been great about walking us through switching the settings back, but it feels like the system should be updated so this doesn’t keep happening.

My favorite feature is the team and the accessibility I as the client have to various members to support me in my operations.

Some more transparency on the COIs and additional cost for waivers would have been appreciated.

Ask questions on every step of the process and how they are able to assist you. They have been extremely helpful in walking through the process for daily operations.

Frankcrum has assisted us in finding a more reliable and affordable WC solution for our business, with great customer service to back that up.

I thought the Frank Crum software was easy to use and I was new to payroll software. It is easy to use and my tax documents were timely.

**What do you like best about FrankCrum?**

Ease of use and navigate. I find some software programs to have too many buttons and links, this was not like that and very easy for a novice software person!

**What do you dislike about FrankCrum?**

I do not know if there was anything to dislike. At the time it was used with the company I work for we were under 100 employees.

It kept our payroll and time accrualorganized
