As an online learning designer who helps creative experts and entrepreneurs design highly effective and engaging online courses, I find Flipsnack essential to my work.
Flipbooks combine the ease of navigation of a book (just flip the pages, and everything stays above the fold so there's no need for endless scrolling) with the engagement and interactivity of digital media. While there are many different flipbook making platforms, Flipsnack is the one for me.

A caution for anyone creating flipbooks is that it's not optimal to treat them as if they were physical books or glorified PDFs. My advice is to treat each page of a flipbook like a PowerPoint or Canva slide (that's how mine literally start out anyway) and design for simplicity, clarity, and powerful visual messaging.
If you need to share a lot of detailed text, you can include a link to a downloadable or online PDF inside your flipbook so people can read the larger amounts of text in a more user-friendly way.
I use Flipsnack to make digital workbooks, and those are not fillable. So what I do is treat the flipbook as a coffee table quality workbook of the kind you look through but don't mark up, and then include a link to a downloadable fillable PDF INSIDE the flipbook, for learners to download and fill in.
Flipsnack's features and pricing plans can change from time to time. However, their team has always been very helpful to me in figuring out which plan is right for me and honoring any legacy plan I may be on, even if their newer offers are different. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
