Filio is intuitive and offers great customer service. It has streamlined our record keeping in the field. It seamlessly organizes all of our photos and notes while we are working in the field and uploads them to the cloud. Our process for managing photos and reports used to be cumbersome, but now we are able take a photo and upload it for others to view with detailed notes in a matter of seconds. Filio helps keep our whole project team on the same page with construction. All our photos are saved in one location with easily accessible time stamp and location information. Reporting features are getting better all the time. Sometimes this feature can be a bit glitchy as it it not as smooth to use as microsoft word but there have been many strides over the years to make it better and better. Sometimes I take a lot of photos in one area. The maps can fill quickly. Being able to sort by timeframe helps, but it might be good to offer multiple options for arrow/photo number scale. How it depends on service/ internet. Half the time we do not have good service out in the field, and taking pictures on the filio app for project documentation seems risky because if service is lost, then the data/ picture can be lost too. That being said, I usually take pictures on my actual phone camera to avoid losing anything. It just is not that reliable of an app. Also, the app crashes a lot. Then, it would ask you to resign in, and not allow you to sign in, over complicating the entire process. Creating a photo log is also a bit more complicated then it has to be. When dealing with large projects, the pictures are too small to see so you have to click on each one to see what it is when re ordering for photo log. This could be improved. The final report is excellent and adds a professional touch to our reports that our competitors are missing. Filio also makes it extremely easy to edit images and create figures in real time on whatever device you're using. It has been very easy to integrate into our company. The UI both in the website and the mobile app are very intuitive and easy to work with. Keeping all of the metadata associated with the pictures is helpful for finalization of construction costs, and keeping up with any additional work being done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that there's not a way to add the entire company to a Filio. Maybe an option for setting up groups would be helpful. Then you could have the option to pick a group to assign instead of individuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AI caption capabilities are still underwhelming. I still need to type my own captions. AI should be trained in cardinal directions/GPS coordinates. If AI looks at a photo media file, it should tell me which direction the photo lens is facing...also would be nice to be alerted of any updates or anything that could disrupt report processing during standard business hours. The photo organization and report making in Filio has been game changing for me. It makes the process for taking, organizing, and presenting photos so easy and takes a lot of time out of my report making. I also like the photo filtering, tagging, and description capabilities. Sometimes Filio can be laggy or glitchy. Only a few times have I lost progress on editing photos due to the site glitching prior to being able to save. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Filio is how easy it makes it to document field observations in a structured, visual way. During disaster fieldwork, the app let me capture photos, videos, and site conditions along with the surrounding context, which helped preserve details that often get lost with handwritten notes. One limitation I noticed is that managing large media files requires careful planning during fieldwork. In areas with poor network connectivity, syncing data was sometimes slow, so uploads often had to be completed later. I love the ease of use with Filio. It's really easy to get in and start using it without a steep learning curve since it functions much like a phone camera, so there's no special learning needed. I also find the tags extremely helpful, being able to create pretty much endless tags and organize photographs in the field. This makes it easy to go back and find the information when needed. Filio syncing to the cloud ensures I don't have to worry about losing photographs and it makes report writing much faster. By using Filio to take pictures, add notes, and comments in the field, it really shortens up the report writing process, effectively saving time and of course money. Filio is heavy on the battery, so sometimes we have to stop and charge our phone. The GPS tags aren't always as accurate as I would like, and it'd be nice to incorporate some sort of external hardware for more precise GPS locations.
