1. Video Player Customization - This feature helps the content creators to maintain consistent identity across all their videos thus improving their brand recognition.
2. Easy User Interface - The product is straightforward to understand the features and need not spend much time on user tutorials. Easy to upload & share material quickly.
3. Customer Support - The support was very instant from the team during our initial days & also gave us a quick resolution with wrong billing.
4. Affordable option in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. No proper functionality to inform users about the changes uploaded in the files. No messaging or email options found.
2. Permissions Management - Users often request to edit the files where our emails are bombarded with too many requests. A feature to restrict that would be helpful.
3. No Drag & Drop - It's little tedious to everytime tap on the upload button, instead drag & drop feature would be more helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the capabilities for filing, tagging, storing, and sharing images, the ability to create collections of items without moving assets from their original folders. We just needed basic photo management without too many bells and whistles, at a decent price, and Filecamp fit the bill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Have some problems with the file management, having to drill down from the home folder in order to move files; would be nice if there was drag and drop available, at least within the window one is working in (I guess it would be awesome if it worked like Mac's Finder). Being able to send a link to a customer that they can't just click on to upload or download files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When customers use the drag and drop feature it doesn't always work for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reliable and Fast as always. There has never been a SINGLE problem with Filecamp in almost 2 years. Amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PDF previews could be of better quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Offers features that are only available MUCH more expensive DAM systems. Excellent storage options, highly customisable and great pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User interface is not the best, but manageable once you get used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I spent several weeks trying to find a product exactly like Filecamp. There are a lot of different file vaults, but only Filecamp met my needs. I needed to create an online file vault with custom permissions that allowed me to share help files, marketing materials, videos, etc with hundreds of our customers. Most other file vaults charge per user, which would not be feasible for our purposes. This is a flat fee and it's branded, very professional, and easy to use. The only thing I'd like to make easier is to allow to share handy web pages or short cuts to existing websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Filecamp is very affordable, yet offers a lot of great features. I've been pushing my company to take the plunge into Filecamp for a couple of years. We've looked at other options, but for our needs, they were just too expensive. Filecamp is a great balance of cost effective and power. For our purposes, it's a perfect fit. I suggest that metadata is added to the files, before they are uploaded to Filecamp. While there is a method to add it there, it's a little clunky, due to the nature of the web interface. Not really an issue with Filecamp, in my opinion, just doing the right job with the right tool. Add your metadata while still on your desktop application or use a tool like Adobe Bridge to do it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy--training me to add content took only a brief session that was enjoyable because it works the way you want it to. Now that I have loaded enough content onto our filecamp, I only need share the access and any user can navigate on their own. It is flexible and functional--we can find what we need. It fits a particular need we had for a visual inventory of images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My one recommendation would be to reconfigure the search function so it clears for a new search term after every use. As our files get larger, I don't know what I will do when I only have the most generic terms to search by, but so far when those terms are used, the number of files to browse is not unmanageable. I like that I have much more control over the user's experience than something like Dropbox. I can change color schemes with different logos with various templates and change the look of folders and much more. Having the ability to make pages like a web page is also very helpful. We also love the fact that it can be used as a subdomain so user's get a seamless experience with our website and domain name. It's also extremely fast to add a new user as almost all of our users require the same capabilities and the copy method as saved us a good amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only item I wish Filecamp would be capable of is to send emails to individual users with updates made in the system or an email update to all users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
