FaxDx Reviews & Product Details

Misdirected fax transmissions are one of the most common HIPAA breach types. FaxDx exists to prevent them. Search any provider by NPI number, name, or practice address. FaxDx cross-references the NPPES registry against six additional signals — received fax history, payer directories, co-located providers, health system websites, and more — to surface the most likely current fax number. Then it dials the number and confirms the line is active as a working fax machine. Every verification generates a timestamped audit record: the provider NPI, the number verified, the sources checked, probe result, and the identity of the user who ran the check. If OCR ever asks what you did before sending, you have a documented answer. No PHI is ever entered or stored. Free for individual coordinators. Pro and Department plans for teams that need full audit history and bulk verification.
