# Is Intercom Fin worth it for handling website conversations on a marketing site?

Hi, marketing ops folks and conversational marketing reviewers, this one's for you. Fin by Intercom keeps coming up when a marketing site needs more than a scripted chatbot but the team doesn't want to stand up a full support platform.

Curious where reviewers land on fit for that specific in-between case in the Conversational Marketing category, not a general review of Intercom overall.

Where it tends to fit:

Team size and volume: per-resolution pricing tends to pencil out once a marketing site has enough qualified chat traffic to justify cost per resolved conversation; a lower-traffic site may not clear that bar as easily.

Existing stack: reviewers note it connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRMs without a full migration project, so it tends to suit teams already running one of those rather than a stack change.

Accuracy on marketing-site questions: Intercom reports Fin resolving the majority of conversations on average, with some teams seeing over 90%, and G2 reviewers describe similar territory (roughly 80 to 90% reliable) for well-scoped pricing and product questions.

Where it sits next to the other names people ask about: HubSpot's Breeze Customer Agent is the more direct fit if the team already lives inside HubSpot end to end, and Qualified's Piper leans more toward sales-qualified routing than general marketing-site support.

Fin currently sits at 4.5/5 (3,875+ reviews) on G2. For a marketing site specifically, not a full support inbox, what's the traffic or team-size threshold where Fin actually starts paying for itself for you?

Fin feels particularly well suited to marketing sites where the same product, pricing, and buying questions come up repeatedly. In that scenario, I’d also look at how much useful context Fin can provide before a visitor needs a person. Are teams using those conversations to identify information that should eventually be added to their website as well?
