The ability to design reports your clients understand sticks out as the most important attribute in a financial reporting tool directed at advisory services. Taking these reports, standardizing them as a base to build upon helped ups to scale our implementation and provide our team with a common language of which to communicate with clients. Clients understood the graphical nature of the reports as opposed to a sea of numbers they had been presented with in the past. This opened the client’s ability to ask questions for the first time and understand how their businesses could grow. Internally it was a huge time saver, making it easy to publish and send reports in only a few clicks. The team found this feature to be among their favorites. **What do you dislike about Fathom?** The only thing I dislike about Fathom is that published reports remain dynamic and will update if you update the general ledger software. For us, I would rather these reports lock down so they are the same as when we sent them. **What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Externally it is making it easier for clients to understand their financials. We are able to create a standard report and then advisors have the capability to create custom reports tailored to the clients needs. This helps both parties understand what needs to be done to improve the business. Internally we are able to more quickly review financials and send them to the client. We have built alerts and other features Fathom allows to alert our team to concerning trends or if something is unusual. ### 37. I appreciate having the recorded calls for quality control, but really didn't like having to remember recording to the cloud at just the right time. Record right away and sometimes get a bunch of non-sales time trying to track down the client on email and text. Wait until the person joins the call to record aaaaand forget to hit 'record,' and there goes quality control out the window. Fathom automates this process, letting me know it's in the waiting room (and therefore Big Brother doesn't have access to my every second on Zoom), reminding me to allow it into the meeting, and then waiting to start the recording until the prospect enters the room. **What do you dislike about Fathom?** The only thing I have missed is the opportunity to record oneself during mock calls, but that option is available through Loom or a Zoom subscription, so it's still an option using other apps. Not really a criticism about Fathom, to be honest. **What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quality control over: my sales skills, and details the prospect shares with me to accurately share with the rest of the team. I also am able to easily find and replay parts of the calls to glean details. ### 41. Because Quickbooks online provides free version of Fathom after you being in priority circle and it can sync all the data to Fathom to produce report.
