## About FactoryTalk TeamONE
TeamONE is a ground up new product that our team, along with a team from Microsoft, have innovated and put the platform components within the app itself - transforming the device into a smart node that opportunistically syncs and keeps industrial communications local. TeamONE is designed for hybrid connected industrial environments and can be downloaded, installed and used right away by anyone on any company or personally owned iOS and Android smartphones.

Simple application and is recommended for automation project executions.

**What problems is FactoryTalk TeamONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating with interdepartmental teams w.r.t to automation project. Sharing technical clarifications. Monitoring and communicating of any errors during project execution.

**What do you like best about FactoryTalk TeamONE?**

Ease of interface: extremely efficient process in creating teams

Chat feature: ease of starting a thread, aesthetic appeal

Option to connect devices

"Knowledgebase" feature: access to articles

Teamboard communication feature

**What do you dislike about FactoryTalk TeamONE?**

The free edition of the app is obviously somewhat limited in comparison to the features offered in the Standard Edition, which of course requires a subscription. Perhaps the most appealing feature of the Standard Edition is the ability to be part of many teams concurrently and switch back and forth immediately. As a precaution, while you have the ability to select team names, some are not available (for example, as a new user, I tried to create a Team called "Test Team" and received a notification that the name was not available).  

**Recommendations to others considering FactoryTalk TeamONE:**

Try it. There is hardly any learning curve at all, at least for the free app--I assume the subscription-based services are more intricate. 

**What problems is FactoryTalk TeamONE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core, this is a communication simplifier. Some of my other colleagues use Slack for for these purposes, but the FactoryTalk Team app is far superior in terms of professionalism and also features. The true benefit is having the ability to provide articles (through the Knowledgebase feature) directly to team members. Teams may be named and organized (but see above for limitations), and users may also monitor customized sets of data via the "Monitor" feature. In short, I would recommend this app to colleagues--no reservations!
